I was recently trying to install a ROM.. in the process i usually wipe everything through the recovery but this time i wiped SYSTEM DATA CACHE and BOOT and then i powered off my phone and now i cannot turn on the phone neither can i charge it nor does it work after connecting to the computer... i cannot send it to the service centre because it is bootloader unlocked and custom recovery.. please help me ... also my battery went down so i thought maybe because of the battery this happened if i change the battery will the bootloader work because if it does then i will get it back to original condition and give it to them. please help me it is very urgent !

No i can't thats the problem i can't turn it on... no bootloader nothing !! i can't even charge the phone now i'm asking if i change the battery will i have the bootloader becuase im thinking that its the battery thats on fault... i don't know

This is the first time I have flashed something. I made a backup right before flashing CM7 using ROM Manager. Every time I turn on my phone, it gets stuck on the boot screen, where there is the LG symbol with some colors in the back. When I flashed it, it went to the boot screen, and stuck there for over 15 minutes. I pulled the battery, and tried to turn it on, and it gets stuck on the same screen. I have tried over and over again, and I have searched the Internet for answers, but I am still stuck. I have tried holding Volume Down and Power, and it goes to a screen with an Android and a box, but nothing happens after that. Please help me, I am new to this stuff.

I did try that. As it turns out, I was unable to get my computer to recognize my phone because, while my USB cable could charge my phone, it could not connect to the the computer (my dog chewed it up). I tried a different cable and it worked. Thanks for the help anyway.
Seeing that box after volume down+power means u didn't flash cwm correctly. U won't be able to flash any new rom if u flashed cwm using rom manager

NVFlash is a must for you to use CWM. Follow the instructions to a T in the above links, and make sure to let the ROM sit after the flash.

And as for the original problem of why it got stuck in the bootloop, you probably didn't wipe everything.
Somtimes my nexus s with ics stop boot and display google logo and i cant do anything i takk off batary and power on + volume up recovery. But in options apply updates from sd dont display anything i see on feil mount sd.... I do the next 2 options reset faktury bla bla.. But it is the samme but after 5 time i try to power on my mobile its working without anything why? How can fix my mobile? I must root?my mobile or what i dont need to takk off my mobile because maybe dont work after lol....

before 20 mins i was surfing xda using tapatalk whith my sgr with wifi connected, than i put my phone and gone away for just a moment and after that when i picked up my phone it was maybe switched off, i thought its gone hang so i tried reseting phone with long pressing power button but no luck, than i removed battery re inserted it but my phone is not powering up, i tried connecting both charger and usb cable but nothing its f...ked up.
now main problem is i cant give it to SSC as i was running XWLA4 build with titanium and unknownzd's kerne any suggestions guys? plz suggest
(i have tried inserting usb jig after re inserting battery but its not powering up)
EDIT: my odin counter is 0, is there any way to flash all the data stored on phone (including system memory) so that i can claim in ssc that its not booting, and after they boot it they dont find that its using custom stuff?

sorry, i think you are in problem nothing we can do now better take it to Service Center..
You can try repair dead APX mode method if you have a backup of your efs folder. Tried that once just to reset counter, maybe it could bring your phone back from the dead.

But do you have a backup of efs, otherwise there is no point trying that.

i do have backup. i just wanna boot my phone in download phone so that i can flash stock indian and atleast can dive in ssc
update: just phone booted in download mode but not able flash using odin its saying error: nand size big
My R died once too, but when I removed sdcard and put it in a freezer for like 10 minutes and then I could boot it up and it was working as long as I didn't turn the screen off - it was enough to do a backup and so on.
Stupid questions, but are you following the guide in 4-5th post? Did the steps above Odin went fine? Last but not the least are you using PIT file to re-partition with Odin?

Maybe you could try the process again just one more time to be sure, only if you want. I'd prefer taking it to ssc

finally my phone is booted perfectly, restored cwm backup and now its going ok but my imei is messed up, my whole 3.5 gb internal sd has been flashed (it was full of game data files which i took many night times to download )
if i want now i can claim a BRAND NEW MOTHERBOARD as my imei is messed lol
Didn't you restore the efs folder? That should solve the imei issue.

What do you mean for "I cannot flash to stock rom from recovery"... can you access recovery mode? (you should be able to).

i wanted to tweak the ui...so i searched a bit when i found it will need to replace system ui and framework res apks in some way they would work but while replacing framework the phone got stuck waited till half hour and rebooted now i am stuck in boot loop and cannot mount usb storage

Umm... who knows if something went corrupt or if it's an issue about permissions...
Maybe best thing to do, assuming the priority is to revive the phone, is to reset everything (wipe data/factory preset - cache partition, format /preload...)... or to switch to download mode and to flash with Odin
BTW which phone model do you have?
I would try booting into recovery and doing a factory reset.

I have a problem. My phone is bricked ( I think ). The phone was running, then i got into recovery wiped cache and dalvik chache. Then I clicked reboot and the phone neved booted. What could have happend? Sometimes when the phone gets laggy i do this and neved had the problem.
ps: I have a problem with the battery. Sometimes it show wrong % of battery status. It recharges by it self oO . Could it be the battery?
