Hi everybody,
after unlocking my bootloader and rooting my HTC One S, I installed the Cyanogen 10 custom ROM.
Problem is that I got stuck in a bootloop, so I tried to fix that problem by resetting to factory settings in CWM; but now it doesn't detect the sdcard folder of my One S ("Can't mount /sdcard/"), and I can't adb push another ROM from my computer ("device not found")...
So I searched on that forum and found this thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=25557817#post25850720
The author of this thread had the same problem as me and solved it by himself (look at post #8), so I tried his method and installed the One S All-In-One toolkit to flash the TWRP recovery. BUT there are 3 versions of it : the S3, S4 and Special Edition.
I know that my phone isn't the Special Edition but i don't know if it has the S3 or S4 processor :S
So i would like to know if there is a way of seeing if my processor is S3 or S4 considering that i can't boot on an OS...
Thanks for the answers (and sorry for my bad english, i'm french)
Forget about it, I solved my own problem too XD
I forgot to flash the boot.img of Cyanogenmod 10 !!
What a noob I am
Anyways, thanks to myself and I hope you won't do the same error as me xD
Switch to twrp as soon as you can... There will be more problems...

Hey there =)
I´ve often read threads and posts by people how did not realy know what they did and after an interrupted flash or a bad rom the phone does not work (propperly or at all) and now they think they really messed up theyr phone...
I know that there are many different phones and roms and ways to so called " soft brick" your phone but if you follow the statet steps you will bring your phone back to life =)
1. DONT WORRY and stay calm
2. Find out how to get into the recovery mode
2.1 If you found out try to whipe data/cash and restart the phone
(many people have bootloops after flashing a rom and dont whipe the data/cash)
3. If there is no way to safe your Firmware (for instance due a interupted flash) search (google) for a stock rom wich fits to your region and phone
(For instance "flashing I9001 stock rom" if you have a sgs+
4. In most of the cases youll find what you are searching for (samsung roms can be found on http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/)
5. If you are really a noob you have to know that the software wich is needed to flash a firmware is odin (in xda forum you will find what youre searching for)
All in all you have to know that there are many people who have or had the same problems like you and you dont have to worry you will make it
Im posting this thread because a few years ago i was total android noob and learned how to flash in the way i stated above
Stay well =)
Only a question. The jig usually help if your bootloader got corrupted ( or something like that) , or no way to save it?

but as far as i know first of all try to reflash a stock rom one package via odin this ficked all my probles over the last years
fare well my friend
I have a ZTE V9 and i cannot enter not even into the recovery mode.

AW: You did not brick your phone!!! 5 Steps to unbrick
Hey there i have a tool from ZTE it is for the Recover . I had the problem that i installed Cyanogenmod 7.2 and wanted back to 7.1 so i started the CWM and then wipe cache and data/factory reset and then installed via sd card. And then it stucked at the Android Logo . When i was trying to use the CWM i boots up to the menu and then only the Power Button worked . So i cant choose anything only Reboot System . Then i searched and found the ZTE tool .

Or what worked for me when i bricked my device and nothing worked: flashing all the mods you have at once and wipe everything
sony xperia ray
ics 4.0.4 rooted
stock rom
I flashed TWRP on my new tablet and now when I power it up, it is stuck on the boot screen. I can power it on and off but that is it. I can't get in to recovery and I can't even charge it. My computer does not recognize it now either. What can I do? How do I fix this? Please help!!!
My tablet is from Tablet Express. It is called a Dragon Touch X10. The ID is LMY48B. According to Google, the LMY48B is a Nexus 5 Hammerhead. The TWRP that I flashed was for the Nexus 5 Hammerhead.
Nice one...
Keep it up... its worked for me:good:

Build ID's are for a particular branch of Android, LMY48B = android-5.1.1_r3
For a custom recovery, like TWRP, it needs to be built for your device (or ported from a similar device, with an Allwinner chip)
You can go to the Tablet Express website and more than likely get the tools and firmware you need to fix your tab, link
Hi,
iam having a serious problem over here, was using cyanogen mod 7 on my wildfire perfectly , then i decided to upgrade it or maybe go back to stock rom , so i downloaded a new version of cyanogen mod , and copied it on root folder of sd card ...without taking backup of my existing rom , i wiped userdata+cache using recovery method.. but when iam installing zip from sd , it says installing updates but it takes hell lot of time , and yet no results ... plus it also do not shows any progress on the progress bar ...i have tried it a couple of times, also i have tried to install the older version i used to have , plus couple of other versions..still nothing, still same results... and now iam left with nothing else to do... as all i have is the recovery and no operating system...please tell me what to do asap....
,
my wildfire is S-OFF, and having clockworkmod recovery 3.0.0.6, HBOOT-6.01.1002
Since you can go to recovery and downloading mode your device is not bricked. Hmm you can flash the stock rom for htc wildfire using odin while you set your phone on downloading.

Apology: Hello, I'm Dan and I am an old n00b. I've been a member of this forum for quite a while now and I don't think I ever posted with a problem. However this time I can't seem to able to find a resolution with my normal methodes (searching) If the solution to my problem already exists I have to blame my age
Hardware:
Motorola XOOM Wifi
Software:
ROM Team_Eos's Jellybean build 3 (which worked for me in the last month)
CWM: being the (old) idiot that I am, I "upgraded" CWM to 5.8.3.1 through ROM.Recovery (I now know that was a bad idea)
USB_Debug: No idea of that is on or off, can't check because I can't get into the ROM because of bootloop
Computer: I do have the motorola developer USB drivers, and android SDK. I have successfully installed custom ROM's for my S3 and for my Xoom so I think everything is correctly installed
Problem:
1. Bootloop
2. At fastboot I don't see the device through "adb devices" (during normal boot(loop) i can see the device but as soon as i "adb reboot fastboot" i lose it.)
3. CWM works but I can't mount SD-Card
I hope my problem is clear and I hope there's a solution. I do apologize for my bad english and my poor computer skills
Thank you in advance
Sorry to hear that bud, if you can get the twrp img eos edition and fastboot it your problem will be solve, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1782235, runandhide05 has a few edition post here but my favorite is the eos one..

Thank you for the quick reply.
I am not able to follow the instructions on the post as
1. I can't mount SD-Card in CWM
2. Don't have adb in fastboot
Thank you
EDIT:
I am sorry, there is a way (the 4th method) to install and it worked flawlessly.
This thread can be marked as solved
Thank you again!
Please post all questions in the Q & A section. Thanks! Thread moved.

Hey guys, hope you've all had a great christmas, but sadly mine has gone downhill quickly
I attempted to root my phone, everything went fine until I tried to change to the CM10 ROM
It's bootlooping
I have clockwork recovery 5.8.3.1 installed, however when i tried to restore my phone I had an "E:/ can't mount /sdcard" error
I've reinstalled the recovery (tried switching back to default to see if it would help) but now it just says "No files found."
I'm with O2, UK, HTC One s - S4
Can't find the stock ROM/RUU after searching most of the afternoon and I really need some help, thank you
im also having the same problem bro.
(Can't post links until i've written 10 comments so you'll have to deal with this)
Okay after a few more hours research I found a fix
Found this guide:
[HOW TO] Unbrick/Restore HTC One S to Stock "Relocked" - on the HTC one forum
Download your appropriate RUU by looking at your Radio version in the hboot, check this file for the appropriate carrier: (link in guide)
Right click on your one, copy link location and paste it into this site to download for free: rapid8[.]com
Then just follow the guide and you should be fine, damn that was a nerve racking way to spend christmas.
P.S Lost all my data of course, for anyone with similar issues
If you hace twrp recovery you can try and mount USB drive from recovery and load a rom from your computer and flash it in recovery. I got the cant mount sdcard error once and solved it this way

Hi friends
im new here so this is my second post considering my earlier one i got no reply, what i want is help from any android expert in solving my problem. see i recently got the HTC one X plus and unlocked the bootloader, and installed clockwork mod recovery and rooted my phone. now when i receive the offical jb ota update, i cannot update it and it says error and i abort the installation and then reboot the phone in clockwork mod. and by the way all this unlocking and rooting is done thanks to Hasoons2000 tool kit, bless that developer who made this toolkit. so after researching reading many forums and find out that we have to use stock recovery image for htc one +. to fix the problem , i cant find any One X + stock recovery image all i can see are htc one X stock recovery image. but i need the one specific to my phone model.
Also it would be of great help if you show me the process of using stock recovery on hasoons2000 toolkit for oneX+
Since i dont want to risk bricking my expensive phone. so guys if you have the solution to my problem please do help me out.!!
why isnt anyone helping out. or didnt try it
