[Q] [RESOLVED]Picking a ROM for a regular person - Samsung Infuse 4G

I'm looking to root and flash JB onto a friend's Infuse. He's still on GB and has no idea about roms and stuff. So I need to pick a good stable rom with reasonable speed. I'm not sure whether 4.2.1 roms work well or if its safer to remain with 4.1.1 or 4.0.4 roms? Please suggest a rom for basic everyday use, not a power user. Thanks to the active community!

Good solid rom

I would say that Remics-jb would be an excellent start. The last beta comes with gapps built in. Get that here: http://d-h.st/f1Z
Make sure you do all the right stuff (Wipe data, cache, partition), then install. It is by far the most trouble free all-in-one I have used.

I've been on scott.hart.bti ROM for 3 days now and am extremely happy with it. Soft over clocked to 1.6GHz, 100% stable!

Thanks guys, after a lot of forum surfing I've found the following method: SuperOneClick Root-> e3 recovery -> CWM -> Now should I install an ICS rom and then go to a JB rom as suggested in the sticky?
I also saw
Method B:
1. Run this One-Click ICS Recovery
2. Boot into Download Mode, and Flash
3. Phone will hang; hold vol+, vol- & power, andrelease power when you see the samsung logo to enter recovery.
Once it boots into ICS, turn off and remove your external sdcard before you move on to flashing JB .At which stage of the process does this happen? Have I understood it all right?
P.S. The phone is on stock GB.

Once you get it into download mode, you can flash the package here:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1613523&highlight=odin+packages. Option D has everything. Let Odin finish and let your phone go through boot. It takes a while for Odin to program, and you will hear it "talk" to you while it is programming. Finish that, and do all the preliminary stuff (google account, etc...if you want), then reboot it in recovery mode (just hit the power off button and recovery boot will be an option). Go get an ICS rom, put it on your phone. I went through windows and made a folder called roms. Just plug phone in, and select the usb "on" button. It is a usb icon at top, swipe it down and you will see it. After that you can see it in My Computer. If you can't it means that you have no usb drivers. Look for them or install Samsung Kies. If you can see it, put that rom you downloaded into the folder you made or chose. In CWM (the red menu in GB, and blue in ICS and JB), choose Wipe data/factory, and then wipe cache partition, and then advanced-wipe dalvik. Then back at main menu, choose install from zip. Find your rom and then install it. Pay attention if the rom needs gapps. Remics has it built in. That is one reason I picked that one. Good Luck

clockwork mod recovery question

so i rooted my g2x with the one click methode and got su. then i did the one click clockwork mod recovery flash. when i press vol down and powere it takes me to clockworkmod recovery, but all of menu is red. is this normal? alsoafter downloading rom manager i flashed the recovery and made some back ups, but when i reenter rom mananager my backups are gone, when i load into recovery backups are there! seems like rom manger doesnt stay synced with phone. i am using eagleblood rom and when i try to power off phone it doesnt respond , so i have to take out battery! please help, any info is welcome! thanks.
not sure which way it goes.. but depending on which CWR you installed, it may be working off of your external card.. and rom manager is looking for backups on the internal.
just gotta connect usb and move the files or use some kinda file manager app.

ok im thinking you did the nvflash method which is good if you did since the menu is red(yes this is normal). your probably not going to see your backups unless you do it the volume down & power way. not sure why its not powering off. you may wanna trying down loading the eagleblood rom again booting into clockwork with the volume down method installing the rom that way and see if that works.
sounds like a hassle i probably wont even use rom manager any more. thanks for info
thanks for info ill just skip rom manager all together, which rom is the most stable in your opinion

I Would go with Dark or Light sinister rom 2.2.1, or the Ultimate rom 2.2.1. until the release gb sourse or until krylon drops bionix rc2 which is hopefully soon.

At this point, as far as the most stable.. I agree.. anything w/ 2.2.1.. Most have been just sticking w/ stock because of many diff probs with 2.2.3/4. I think that's why the GB was 'leaked' a while ago. To help get some of these bugs brought to the surface.. and probably why we have seen the delay in launch. At least, I hope that's the case. I would not be shocked if they purposely leak these so they can watch the boards to see what probs are out there... Then spend a few weeks fixing it.
I'd have to agree that as far as using 'something' different, Bionix is good.. but it has its probs too. It has the typical reboots/locks up as most others have (excluding 2.2.1). Don't expect Bionix updates to be released like the others. They try to create a quality rom without doing "nightlies". Also, the dev is working on a 100 other projects. Not sure where the bionix priority is, but I'm sure it is not at the top of the list on a regular basis.
Seriously, from looking at how functional all of these releases are.. I think stock is your best option. After using Bionix for a few weeks now, I like it.. but the reboots/lockups are a pain.

[OLD] Outdated MIUI Thread

UPDATE: This ROM is now outdated. Please use Dfgas's newer MIUI port, located here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1152518
Original Post:
You've watched. You've waited. You've sat impatiently looking for an update. I know I have. The wait is over.
Gingerbread AOSP MIUI 1.6.24 MTD Port
Ported to: Mesmerize (still having issues with Showcase port)
Please note: The 1.6.24 links currently posted are not my work! I just couldn't correct the eri.xml in framework-res.apk to remove "Verizon Wireless" from the top bar (cosmetic I know, but it bugged me--I'm picky like that), and... BDE sorta had his port done several hours before mine anyway. I can't take any credit whatsoever for these links, this is all his porting work.
WARNING: READ BEFORE FLASHING!!
This ROM was designed using the newer (for us) yaffs2/ext4 filesystem. Excepting CM7MTD, no other ROM uses this filesystem. As a result, this ROM uses CWM 4, and once you flash, you CANNOT flash any other ROM from Recovery. Should you have issues with the flash, or want to return to a different non-MTD ROM, you will need to Odin all the way back to stock. See post #2 for instructions.
SHOWCASE USERS: This is especially critical for Showcase users, as Cell South has prevented Odin flashing packages for the Showcase. IF YOU USE A CELLSOUTH SHOWCASE AND WANT TO FLASH BACK TO A DIFFERENT ROM, FIND A WORKING ODIN PACKAGE FIRST.
As always, the standard warning applies: I am not responsible for what may happen to your phone as a result of flashing this ROM, properly or improperly. No warranty whatsoever. You have been warned.
Credits
The biggest thanks go out to jt1134. NONE of this (including CM7MTD) would be possible if it weren't for the work he's done for the Fascinate, Mesmerize, and Showcase.
Andmer has also been critical to making this happen. He was the one to take JT's work, use his AOSP source, and build a working MIUI port for the Fascinate. Both he and JT continue to modify the ROMs and Kernels for MTD that we enjoy to work towards getting that hardware working.
Without these guys, there would be no port for us.
I'd like to thank lmartin92 for his tremendous help and knowledge. He worked tirelessly with me to get this working. Similarly, bdemartino has been a huge help in all around, as well specifically making sure we could get the "fascinatemtd" SMS padding code implemented into CM7MTD, and therefore MIUI MTD. Lastly, I'd like to thank Akellar for getting some Framework-res cosmetic edits working when I could not.
1.6.24 Note: Again, these are actually BDE's ports, not mine, I can't take any credit.
ROM Details
Update Schedule: MIUI receives weekly official updates, and Andmer has said he intends to port them to the Fascinate on that same schedule. I intend to port from his work on that same schedule, and once my overlay is fully worked out, it should take me only as long as it takes to apply it and upload. This thread will be updated every time a new ROM is released. I'll try to keep one or two previous week's ROM links just in case.
Radio: This ROM does not flash a radio, so it should use whatever radio you had before you flashed. This ROM is built for a Mesmerize/Showcase radio (making it an actual Mesmerize port), so if you're using the Fascinate EC01 radio, you'll want to either flash the EC10 or EE19 radios (typically by flashing the stock versions of those ROMs). Don't worry if you flash those ROMs; everything else (except the radio) will get overwritten.
Recovery: In order to support the yaffs2/ext4 filesystem, this ROM uses CWM 4. As a result, the normal "three finger Recovery" method does not work. Similarly, although the ROM includes a "Reboot into Recovery" menu option after holding power, that does not boot into recovery. The only method of getting into recovery at this point is to either use ADB or a Terminal Emulator app.
Within Terminal Emulator, type the bolded, underlined text:
su (enter; this grants SuperUser rights to Terminal Emulator)
reboot recovery (enter)
This should properly reboot the phone into Recovery mode.
Working:
Calls
Bluetooth!!
3G / Data
WiFi
SMS
Camera/Camcorder!!
USB mass storage / sdcard
GPS
ALL Sensors!!
Not Working/Known Issues:
MMS
Calls/SMS during deep sleep mode are not waking up the device to ring.
This app will prevent your device from deep sleep which is of course a battery drain, but you will receive calls. Whether its worth it or not is up to you.
https://market.android.com/details?id=otis8.softlocker
How to Flash
Copy the ROM to your SDcard.
Reboot phone into recovery, flash ROM as normal.
Make sure to wipe data, cache, and dalvik cache if you are coming from a non-MTD ROM, and possibly even CM7MTD.
Flash MIUI ROM from SD card.
The "MIUI" branded flash script will appear, and quickly disappear. THIS IS NORMAL. This verifies if CWM 4 is installed (on the first time through it will not be), and if not, installs it. The phone should reboot once again into recovery, but it will be standard CWM 4 Orange recovery.
Flash the ROM from your SD card once more. Note that the softkeys have changed; use the Search key as "Enter". The flash should proceed as normal.
1.6.24.1: Flash the 1.6.24.1 patch to correct all sensors.
Reboot phone when complete.
When your phone reboots, you should see the normal Samsung logo, and then a Galaxy S/CyanogenMod 7 logo. This will be followed by the MIUI.us boot screen, which is a moving starfield with a spinning globe.
Welcome to GB MIUI!

HOW TO GO BACK TO NON-MTD ROMS
Kanged from the Fascinate forums with immense thanks to kidserious, and referencing the "Files to get your Mesmerize back to stock 2.1 and 2.2.1" guide from Phidelt82
Things you'll need:
Odin
Working Odin package for your phone model
If you don't already have these, here are some links (sorry, Mesmerize stock ROM only):
Odin: http://download1422.mediafire.com/ii578172dylg/429fcpdtpckkcea/Odin3+v1.83.exe
EC10 Odin Package: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=N6JNT1ZE
Whatever Odin package you use must have a full bootloader included in the flash. EC10 should work, EE19 may not. I'm unable to advise which Showcase Odin package would work, I'm not familiar enough and they're not generally available.
STEP-BY-STEP
I'm writing these for the Odin newbie in mind. Experts, as long as you check "Repartition", you know the drill.
Open Odin. This does not need to be installed, simply run.
Pull off the back from your phone, remove the battery.
Connect the USB cable (best with the Samsung one that came with your phone), and hold Volume Down until you see the phone say "Download Mode". A little box should turn Yellow in Odin, signifying it detects the phone and is ready to flash it.
Click the PIT button. Locate the path to the PIT file extracted from the ZIP you downloaded above (or previously) to populate that field.
Click on the PDA button. Locate the path to the TAR.MD5 file extracted from the ZIP you downloaded above (of previously) to populate that field. Do NOT click on PHONE, Phone should be empty.
Make sure Re-Partition is checked. We want to overwrite the previous MIUI flash, and Re-Partition is what lets us do that fully.
Click the Start button. Let it proceed through the whole flashing process, which is approximately 10 minutes. You'll see "Complete!" in Odin and your phone's screen will go blank once it's finished.
For thoroughness' sake, I'm including the below steps. Again, experts could potentially circumvent, but below is the failsafe way.
Re-insert battery, boot phone. Allow it to boot into Blue (stock) recovery. it's okay if it says it can't mount "HIDDENSDCARD"; it's done the rest of the setup it needs to. If you're just staying with the stock ROM and recovery, you're done.
If you want a custom recovery:
Follow steps 1-7 above, skipping over step 4 (no PIT file needed), and flash your recovery of choice. You should now be able to flash whichever custom ROM you were on before, or restore from a Nandroid backup.
It is absolutely mandatory that you follow these steps exactly to properly get off of GB MIUI MTD (or CM7MTD for that matter) so that you can flash another ROM. Attempting another method or not following these steps implicitly will result in a bricked phone and you will have to follow this guide to fix it.
#3 reserved for me also.
Good for you man. Way to go!!!!!!

is there anyway u could port the cm7 releases to id really love to be running cm7 instead of having to flash fascinate radios and all tht crap..

I wonder if flashing to the cm7 then trying to flash this would work better. Using the cm7 you can use rom manager to install the miui, so im gonna try that.
Edit: Unfortunately same thing that route also. Boot loop

Rom suggestion request

I had to get a warranty replacement (bad USB port) and now I'm looking for a suggested solid Rom.
Before replacement I was running Jordan Elliot's [ROM][2.3.6] UCKK1 [Rooted, Deodexed, Busybox, ZipAligned]
And loved it except the YouTube problem. I really don't care if HDMI works in the end, just looking for a solid Rom that doesn't force close a bunch, is well optimized, and has the basics and basic Bluetooth functioning.
Currently still on stock AT&T froyo and really not one to bounce around from Rom to Rom.

quickest way but must follow verbetum...
download the rom cwm.zip and get sgs kernel flasher from the market..
create
/sdcard/Voodoo/disable-lagfix
(the V is capital, all others lowercase)
flash the .zip with kernel flasher ( this will flash the kernel from the rom only, the phone wont boot past recovery due to different android versions, so select no reboot and power it down as soon as its complete)
boot into recovery with 3button combo ( volume up + volume dn +power till "Samsung" screen shows)
clear data, flash rom, reboot
at this point you can enable voodoo and shouldn't have issues. the next reboot after voodoo is enabled will take 5+min

(Q) Rogers Infuse 4G - successful rooting - lag fix fiasco

Good morning,
While not a noob to rooting or flashing (currently active on Galaxy tab 2 boards) I appear to have made a noob mistake, and even though I searched and read stickies, etc - still made the mistake.
I rooted the Rogers Infuse 4G using this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1197248 and it worked without issue.
Decided to try the enable lag fix option - deleted the voodoo file on the sd card, and rebooted the phone. Phone got stuck on SAMSUNG screen (unfortunately - did not notice that the volume was off on the phone) and I did not hear the "voice" telling me what was going on - so rebooted the phone by holding the power button until it rebooted.
Spent a couple of hours after that re-reading, and since I was able to get into download mode - was able to reflash stock package through odin. When the phone did finally reboot (thankfully, as this is my daughter's daily driver) I noticed there was already a voodoo file on the sd card, with another file inside named "logs" Just in case, I deleted that file, and added a new one called "disable-lagfix" as per the original instructions.
Just to be sure - went back and ran the rooting procedure, and can confirm that we have root.
From there, I decided to flash the 100% working CWM Recovery file through Rom Manager - found the details on this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1107881 and can confirm that after rebooting into recovery - the phone has CWM Version 2.5.1.2
The phone is currently fully functional, no issues with network or wifi, playstore, etc - but would like to know if anyone can confirm that we are good to go should we decide to upgrade to a custom rom. I've done so much reading - that the recovery version confuses me ( red or blue, etc). I realize that some of the threads are back from early to mid 2011 - so not sure if they are still completely valid - so am asking before proceeding.
Phone settings are the following:
Kernal 2.6.35.7-I997RUXKG3-CL366622
Build GB.UXKG3
Baseband I997RUXKG3
Firmware 2.3.3
CWM 2.5.1.2
Currently have the voodoo/disable-lagfix file on the sd card
If anyone has gotten this far into the thread - and can offer up some feedback or recommendations - it would be appreciated
Thanks in advance,
Bill
I usually don't trust Rom manager, but if you are able to boot to recovery then I would say you are good.
If you want the red one (don't remember the version) you could flash a custom kernel with sgs kernel flasher (available on play store).
Infusion should work for you

Thanks for the reply - appreciate your time
Guess it's time to turn that volume up, delete the voodoo folder, and cross my fingers....
Just to confirm - do I delete the voodoo folder itself, or the disable-lagfix folder inside the voodoo folder only ?
Again, thanks
:good:
What were you planning on flashing?
You can probably leave it there for now, and after you have flashed then you can dispose of the folder.

First off andros11 - thank you so much for your time in replying to my issue.
My daughter has been looking over the development site - and,
as it stands right now, she has her mind set on the Dark Night Rom by VortexJunior.
Here is the link, if it helps http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1662280
The install instructions, while relatively simple - and similar to what I am used to doing - but no mention of lagfix
Installation: From Gingerbread
1. Download Zip
2. Wipe Data/Factory Reset
3. Wipe Cache Partition
4. Flash
5. Reboot into recovery(Advanced>Reboot recovery)
6. Flash again
7.BAMM!
Thanks again for your time and replies,
Regards
Once on ICS I don't think you have to mind about lag-fix..
Also, I suggest you just reboot instead of rebooting into recovery. That often causes recovery bootloops.
When you reboot, the phone will hang at the kernel splash screen (this is normal). Just take out the battery, place it back in and boot into recovert with 3-finger combo (vol +, vol - and power, and let go when samsung logo pops up)
My personal suggestion is that you move on to JB. It performs much better, and mostly all development is now there.
Perfect - thanks
Am running CM 10.1 on my tablet, and love it
Will have my daughter research JB ROMs instead.....
Happy Holidays to you and your family

Lag fix??
I am confused.. what exactly is the lagg fix? My GF has a JB (one of phablet ROMS) installed and all the JB ROMS I have installed on this phone (and I think all ROMS besides JB) have had lagg problems. So I would really like to know how to fix this phone.
About that lagfix...
If I remember correctly voodoo lag fix was originally designed for the Galaxy S to change the file system it ran at to something that made the phone feel more responsive and access recourses quicker. It was ported to other ROMs so if a ROM includes it then you're ok to use it but I don't think you can just apply it to any JB ROM. Plus after using a GB ROM with this lagfix for some time, any 4.0 and above ROM I have used after that has been a LOT quicker in comparison. So I would probably look into the way you JB roms were installed maybe do a data wipe/factory wipe in CWM and reinstall the ROM from the beginning. What ROMs are you using exactly?

[Q] How to de-brick rooted P5110 that keeps rebooting after startup animation (boot)

As the title says: P5110 keeps rebooting during boot - right after animation stops (before word SAMUNGS starts glowing).
Tablet is rooted and there is CWM 5.5.0.4 installed. Was just fine for almost half a year and all of a sudden this...
I have tried
- wipe data/factory reset
- wipe cache partition
- advanced : wipe Dalvik Cache (whatever that might be?)
I also tried all the "mounts and storage" options and noticed on thing: i can mount all storage mounts (/system, /cache, /data, /efs, /preload, /sdcard) but one - namely /emmc. Does it mean that emmc is broken? What is emmc? Is it important?
I am considering unrooting it and removing CWM. But not sure whether it's even possible and don't dare to try!
Can you tell me anything that might help me debrick this tablet?
Do you have nandroid backup(one that you make with cwm)? If yes go to backup and restore in cwm and hit restore....if not try to reflash rom via cwm or flash stock rom via odin in dowload mode.
emmc is.... http://www.simmtester.com/page/news/showpubnews.asp?num=181

Sorry to jump on this thread but might be a similar steps the OP has to take.
What if he flashes a new Rom and it still is locked in a strange boot up?
I posted a thread earlier today but either no one has an answer or my thread title was just crappy.
Mine did exactly what his is doing now (just boots the samsung logo and hangs) and now it just boots into recovery everytime you start it.
Flashing an original stock rom didnt fix it.
Flash via Odin any stock ROM then root it and flash whatever you like.
This kind of brick may occur easily if you have flashed uncompatible kernel or tried to restore nandroid backup of another ROM or made by uncompatible CWM recovery version.

Normally, it should actually work absolutely fine if you flash a stock ROM via Odin.
Nobody knows what did cause your problems and what did you flash as last. Also, different OS versions use sometimes different partitions. Even CWM recovery is not compatible through all versions, it uses different formatting.
So this way should work to restore stock ROM on your device:
find and download Odin that fits your device (earlier versions are not neccessarily worse ones)
find and download PIT file for your device
find stock ROM for your device consisting 3-files (for PDA, Phone, CSC).... ROMs are usually zipped, so you will get 3 data after extracting
The PIT file will do re-partitions for the case that your formerly installed ROM used different partitions whch are not compatible with the stock ROM.
After that you will have again unrooted stock ROM. So just be careful afterwards whatever you flash and before you do it, make sure that whatever you flash always fits your device (no matter is it whole ROM, kernel or just upgrade).

Thank you for the reply. I had posted a link in here that linked to my thread that explained what i had done and used but it didnt show up for some reason? Anyway I used the below roms(in bold). An update was available for JB and we own two tablets both the P5113 and bought at the same time. One tablet updated fine but the other one would download the package but then would keep failing to install it. So i did a factory reset on the device and then that's when the fun began and it started booting strange.
So I first tried flashing the official JB rom using ODin 3.04.
P5113UECLK7 (4.1.1) - Cellular south November 2012 (Official)
and it still did the same thing so then i tried flashing it back to ICS which is the rom that was on there i think. (It was ICS but not sure if that was the exact version number?)
P5113UEBLI1 (4.0.4) - Singapore September 2012 (Official)
Im sure the roms are going on there fine as if im not mistaken ICS has a blue battery charge icon and JB a gold one. I noticed that it went from blue to gold when i first loaded the 4.1.1 on there and then back to blue when i put ICS back on there.
I cant seem to find a PIT file for the P5113. Only for the P5100. Would that work?
I tried it anyway and it didnt work

If I was you, I wouldn't flash it before I am 100% sure it fits the p5113. I own the p5110 and they are indeed very similar, but who knows.... Take care of your Tab, mate.
BTW: why not CM10.1 stable? It works awesome, full wipe/factory reset, install zip through recovery, install recent gapps for CM10.1 (4.2.2) and after boot install Apex launcher and enjoy life

I hear you Its a paper weight right now though so thought id rather try as nothing else is doing the trick.
The tablets are my kids so i preferred to just give them an official stock version. I got put off using custom roms when i used paranoid android on my samsung galaxy 2 and it was real buggy. I just need my devices to work for the basics. I now run stock jelly bean on my GS2 but even that has crappy battery life, lucky for it to make it till 4pm and still be on and thats with moderate use. Couple of phone calls and a few text messages and a tiny bit or browsing. I know what is causing it though as it only starts to lose battery when im not on wi fi. It at least doesnt freeze and stop receiving phone calls altogether like PA did though. I used to miss a ton of work calls because the phone had actually frozen.
I love Apex though. I have Apex pro on my GS2 and its much better then the standard launcher. My daughter has the GS3 and it still does not rotate on the home and app screens which i find annoying.

I've got your point, mate. :good:
Same with me: I need all the functions to work. The CM10.1 does it really, but my p5110 is wifi-only device so I'm not sure if CM10.1 is same good for your p5113. CM10.2 seems to be smooth and fast, but many apps aren't yet updated for 4.3 so I will wait a while before I flash it again.
I have cm10.1 on my p5113...it runs amazing...the p5113 owners most of the time have to flash the p5110 version because there is nothing different with the tabs besides the ir port..

Can you reach the download mode? (press 2 buttons at same time: volume down and power button)
OK, yes- you need same Odin version as Tabs 51xx, this is link for Odin 3.07:
http://hotfile.com/dl/161620048/6c6d559/Odin3_v3.07.rar.html
Try pressing the buttons with the charger plugged in, as well as plugged out, that is little trick with the p51xx Tabs

Great, I am glad to hear it did charger cable trick help?
Just to make sure: you must be sure to flash a stock ROM first (not JB based custom ROM), after it you will have revived Tab without root. After that normal proceeding: root it, install CWM recovery or custom kernel that fits your ROM (or even whole custom ROM) which already features the CWM recovery.
The stock recovery (3e) checks the signature so of course you can't flash any custom zips. CWM recovery has an option "toggle signature verification" where one can disable signature check. Then you can flash whatever you want, just take care that all you ever flash must be absolutely compatible for your device.

One more thing mate, look at this video which I've posted on YouTube last January:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0NXBN9Z63TY
It describes how to get rid of the signature verification problem. For the reason that quite many people don't understand english well, I have made a speechless video added by step by step description in the text (video description) so people can just copy the text and paste it into their translators.
If one ROM that you have flashed bootloops on the logo just try another ROM. It happens sometimes. Important is that you should always before flashing another ROM make full wipe: (data/factory reset/cache/dalvik) in your recovery mode.
Did you do it?
Please let me know if you were successful, it should work now! Good luck :fingers-crossed:
It works!
Thanks everyone for your feedback!!!
and my apologies for late response.
I followed the advise to (re)flash stock rom and it worked!
After that i rooted it again, installed another recovery and now have the latest stock rom working perfectly.
For those who get the same problem and the tabled keeps rebooting - just plug it into recharger and keep the on/off button until it turns off. Then you can fully charge it before you attempt to flash rom.
Once again, thanks a lot!
PS. now i am considering installing CM10.1

Great! Congratulations
Yes, install CM10.1.1 with gapps for 4.2.2 it works great, all the functions. Just mind that you can not restore nandroid backups made with other kernel, (sometimes also not if done with older CWM recovery version) and also apps backups made by Titanium backups in older systems aren't good idea to restore once you upgrade to CM10x
If you want to return for any reason to your old (current) ROM, do the same procedure like by unbricking
