Beautiful widgets. It has more functions and you can choose from a ton of different skins and weather icons. Many styles of sense skins as well.

look for fancy widgets or beautiful widgets in the market.
fancywidget is a direct replica of it and beautiful widgets has the same layout but is highly customizable.
Weather & Toggle
Get fancy widget and download the h7c skin. Not sure if the regular version has skins but the pro does. If you are expecing the clock to actually flip you might be dissapointed to see it not flip. Ive tried beautiful widgets, weather and toggle, etc but this one is my favorite.

Fancy widget is the one i use, coupled with widget locker for a full "sense" feel.. works well together.
And once rooted widget locker is seamless.

beautiful widgets is a direct descendent of htc sense clock
i read somewhere that beautiful widgets actually stepped on some HTC toes and had to change SOMETHING to please HTC and now all is good between the two. however imho, beautiful widgets was worth the payment to add the animations and a bonus of the beautiful live wallpaper that directly reflects the current weather... a footnote; the wallpaper doesnt work "correctly per say" if beautiful widgets isnt installed.
it is nice and has a clock called "supersense" that looks exactly like the htc flippy clock...
Fancy widget pro is available for free today only (Easter Sunday) on the amazon app store. Worth it for $2 and now that its free there's no reason not to get it.

Do you guys know if we can get the sliding draw widgets from the htc explorer on the desire s? I really like their simplicity but getting an explorer would be a serious downgrade I don't want to make.
They are the 1x1 widgets that open to become 1x4 when touched.

These are not widgets, just one 4x4 widget called Quick Launch. It's in most sense 3.5 ROMs. Use Endymion, it's there.

Kind of a loaded question really. What are you looking for? Small, big, colorful, informative, minimal....the list can go on. You can go from Beautiful widgets to make your own clock.
Boils down, what do YOU want and what do you want your clock to look like. There are a lot of options to choose from, many are free. Try em out for yourself! You may find one that you like an others are "meh" with.

MIUI clock widgets on the market place are pretty good for analog clocks. currently using the white version.
for functionality i use fancy or beautiful widgets based on the htc sense one. for aesthetic allure i use mclock. there are lots of nice mclock themes to choose from so i couldnt pick a favorite

stock sense 4 clock is pretty good.
Minimalistic text is also quite beatiful

1) What is a good, highly customizable, clock widget? Specifically one where I can use a non-system font to personalize it.
2) In general, without my specifications, what is your favorite clock widget?

Tried Ultimate Clock but ended up using Advanced Clock. I'll try Ultimate again but the interface didn't lend itself to picking a new font.

There is a big thread on Xda forums for skins for ultimate custom clock, beautiful widgets is quite good but I found fancy widgets to be a huge battery drain.

UCCW is awesome, but if you are on ICS (or using any of the ICS versions) the widgets don't refresh like it does with BW. IMO BW is the best in working wise, while customization goes to UCCW. I mean UCCW widgets do work, but they are a bit delayed. I think it has to do with the lockscreen. Not sure why though.

The clock? It's probably a skin of Beautiful Widgets or Fancy Widget.
Could be Simi clock.

That is exactly what the clock is--available Playstore--use it all the time
No this is a HTC widget, I think its called shortcuts & clock widget, I had it on my desire s with sense 3.5. Don't think that same widget will work on the One S, probably needs to be resized.

Oh damn your right, I have the bigger version on my phone now with clock. Moon and clouds are identical. It is Sense but exact widget doesn't show available on my s1 widget list.
Its only seen in Sense 3.5 phones.

htc quick launch widget
I found the name, I think its htc quick launch widget...I am using it on my rom now..but the rosie dock is transparent...somethings dont work though
