I got a GT-N8013 and i just flashed the new JB 4.1.1 UK update for GT-N8010 on my device. all seems to work fine, but except for Kno textbooks app doesn't want to run and tells me this is not a compatible device for Kno. Can anyone help me with this please?
Uninstall it and reinstall from the Play Store.

I'm using Samsung Galaxy Tab and living in Turkey. The device came with Samsung Market which is not so good. So I downloaded the apk of Android Market and installed. But whenever I want to download items, I receive this error "The application Market (process com.android.vending) has stopped unexpectedly, Please try again)" and the active button is Force Close...
Also I downloaded Facebook For Android and installed. Again whenever I want to login it gives unexpected error.. and does not login..

The android market app should have been pre installed. At least it was installed on my phone when i bought it .
What firmware is installed on your phone. Did you install a custom rom or something else?

Hello.. A market application is preinstalled but not the original one. It's the application of the local vendor.. It's very limited and not being updated. For example Facebook for Android is not located in this market application.

You can try to reset the phone or installing a different firmware. If you want to install a custom firmware/rom i would suggest rotohammers rom. If you want a stock firmware you can reflash your actual installed fw or an other fw.
If you install a custom rom you will loose the warranty of the phone.
But wait if other people haven an idea ;-)

I'm not really comfortable with flashing roms firmware etc. I once bricked a Google G1.. And I don't want to brick my tab .. The sources I found do not tell hot to do it step by step for an idiot like me )
The warranty is not important as long as the phone works normally

Installing a cistom rom is pretty easy.
You can use odin or heimdall to install a rom.
I used heimdall and installed a custom Eur Rom.
i'll install rotohammers rom this weekend and post an easy to understand tutorial. There isn't much that can go wrong

Dear forum:
I bought my GT-P7500 Tab in China and it didn’t come with Google play(android market ) installed on it .
As I am unable to download anything from the android market I download android market 3.5.16 .apk file from one of the suggested links and install it on the Tab
Get to Google Play site . Sign in with Google account went to apps to run. Got error saying “You haven’t accessed to the Google Play Store app”
Trying to run “Play Store app “ and got an message : “You must add an account to the device to continue Do you want to add one now”(YES/NO) Click Yes. Window disappears and nothing further happens. No option to enter application specific
Please help if Anyone can help me with this problem to connect and download apps from google play (android market in the past )

I have a goophone N2 which is Galaxy Note 2 clone. It has the MK6577 chipset and the model number listed in the device information is GT-N7100.
I really would like to flash it so i can have Google play store and get rid of the horrendous Chinese spam. Also the GPS doesn't work at all despite replacing the gps.conf file with a couple of different ones from the forum...
I have rooted it, but i get the message 'unfortunately Google play has stopped working' when i try and put the store on there. What's strange is it'll let me put Amazon market place on there but Google Play won't work.
Anyway - I am looking for a ROM which will be compatible with my handset, I don't really wanna brick it byt just trying randomly, so thought i'd ask here as I've flashed a couple of handsets using advice from members.
Can anyone help?

Ok a few more details might help.
The main question is will one of the GT-N7100 roms work?
I've ran vellamo and the device info says
model number gt-n7100
board: gt-n7100
cpu: ABI - armeabi v7a
device name: n7100
basedband version: n7100zcalh3
Kernel version:

Seen as I seem to be talking to myself I will update for everyone.
I have rooted and installed super user. I then installed Google Play using the method in the nursing-now.blogspot post (cannot post link sorry)
I then manually deleted all the Chinese system apps using root explorer.
This then caused permission issues so I downloaded CMW and used the fix permission function to re allocate the permissions.
I now have google play and am able to install various apps.
The GPS still will not work at all - not a sausage - despite copying gps.conf from the xda thread...

I did flash rom with any rom found on the net, now I have google play store but is not working wi-fi, bluetooth and gps....help me please!!!
P.S. the phone is the same (goophone N2 N7100)

I am in need of backup this ROM, made the device itself, I'll only be able to recover my through it, because I'm not having access to the usb device.
If anyone has the Goophone N2PRO and can do this backup and send me I appreciate it.

I cant install Asphalt 8 from google play. Asphalt 8 is now free and I am install on may gallaxy tab 2 and play offline and online. But on my s2 plus i9105P I cant gat it. I was try to change model to i9505, try moded google play store, invertet google play store with multi DPI buth nothing.. I install moded version buth I want free version from store to play online.. Any one can help? Model i9105P, stock jb 4.2.2, odexed with custom kernel.

Thank you for replay. I was tried vpn but always get same eror. Try couple region but same, your device isnt compatible with this version..
My tab have same region, my friend on s4 can also play online and game is free.. Maybie problem is in kernel.. I will try to flash new rom and try..
HI guys,
I am having trouble running the game Angry Birds Go on my tablet Motorola Xoom MZ605 ( the Brazillian version of US MZ601).
The Google play store says that is not compatible although the android version installed on my Xoom is 4.0.4.. I dont understand why it doenst work..
I have installed a version i got fron the internet with cache folder and when i install the game apk and try to run the game the tablet goes to a black screen for 1 or 3 seconds and then returns to home screen... no way to get it to work..
Anyone knows how to install the game and way to get this game running smooth on Xoom?
If so please give a brief instalation guide and links to download the game.
