[cm10] How can i get group texting to work? - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

I'm on ATT and I either get my group texts from the individual senders or not at all, in the case of iphone users. Is there a way to get this to work if I'm running cm10 and on ATT?

[Q] ATT Group Messaging

I was wondering if there was a way to enable group messaging with an HTC phone on the ATT network. What i mean by that is not just sending messages to a group of people but also continuing the conversation in a chat bubble similar to blackberry messenger. My buddy has a tilt 2 and i have an aria but can't find a way to make it work on either. If anyone can tell me how or point me in the right direction to making this work i'd greatly appreciate it.

[Q] Not able to view MMS from IPhone

I am unable to receive MMS messages from IPhones. I get group texts from friends and I can only view them message from non Iphone users. The other Droid users in the group text don't have this problem. I am rooted and running Beans Rom now. I tried Clean Rom, Goodness Rom and now Beans with no luck. I called Verizon and they said I have no restrictions on my account. They said the Iphone users may be using group text with Imessaging. Has anyone else encountered this problem?
I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 with Beans Rom.

[Q] merging multiple sms for the recipient to receive as one message

Hello there. At&t user here. I have been using at&t for a while and can't switch carriers, and was wondering if anyone could solve this dilemma for me. Using a nexus s, cyanogenmod.
I need long messages to get merged to one message for the recipient, which would probably best be suited by having them converted to mms.
I was wondering if anyone knows an app that can do this.
Handcent for example, merges them into one and converts to mms, but it needs the sms to be at least 3 sms's long before it does that, so that ones that are between 160-320 characters still get split. I know that gosms doesn't allow this either. This is work-related, so if anyone could help me I would be forever thankful.

Hangouts 2.0 disable group mms?

Hey,
so I'm currently in Vietnam and group mms doesn't work out here. Is there a way to disable it? In the stock messaging app, if I sent a group message, it would just send a single sms to each person [which is what I want to happen], but in hangouts it tries to send an mms and it just gets stuck.

This is a generalised issue which all the users except USA (?) are facing. .
My group sms also get converted to MMS and that really pushes the bill high. Google needs to fix it. For the time being I am relying on third party app.

Group messaging not working correctly.

I have searched but not been able to find any similar to my issue. I have a GS3 my mom has a GS4 and my dad has a droid HD and my sisters have iphone 5s. If we try to group text each other my mom and dads text show up in their own threads. My sisters show up together in a group thread. If I reply to a group thread it goes to all people in the group and all the messages show up as MMS. I am stumped. This has been going on since I got my phone and moved it to AOSP based roms going back to like slim 2. I am currently on the latest stable release of slim. I have personally truned on group text on my parents phones just to make sure they actually have it on. I have also had this issue with the stock apk as well as when i tried to use hangouts new sms feature. Any ideas?
I'm assuming you have "Group messaging" checked in the settings of all the messaging apps you use? The one that says "Use MMS to send a single message when there are multiple recipients"
