Cracked apps is available on Google Play for sells - Android General

We recently receive an email from an user about an another app named "RAM Boosts Pro" from publisher "Team Droid" that is apparently identical to Smart RAM Booster Pro. We take 30s to check it out and discover that it is a hacked version of our Smart RAM Booster Pro. The publisher just changes the package name (which is used as an identifier on Google Play as well as Android OS's package manager). They don't change icon and other graphical assets. They set price 2 times higher. Immediately, we try to contact the publisher but no reply since last week.

Get apps from geeks instead of App store

There are tons of apps on Google Play or other App stores , but I still can hardly find a good one for me because they are too much for me to try them one by one, while the top ten list is too few for me to choose.
I trust my geek friends who love to try new apps. I would like to see their short reviews about any kind of cool apps, and download the app immediately if I like it. what about you?
what if there is a twitter-like app that help you review and share apps with friends?

Hey guys. Just wanted to tell you all about an application which was launched yesterday.
It's called Kytephone, and is a way for children to be able to use Android without the chance that they may come across something unsuitable.
Parents can monitor what applications they can use, which can be anything from the Google Play store. The parent also monitors who the child calls and where they are from an online dashboard.
The app is almost impossible to exit without the password, even taking the battery out does nothing.
I did an article about it and interviewed the co-founder here: Link

clicky for you... looks like a nice program

Photoshop Touch the ONLY App being developed for Android

I haven't used them a whole lot to be honest, but just today I was going to purchase the Adobe Kuler app. Useful for creating color schemes and such and was unable to find it. The link on Adobe's site took you to an empty Play Store link with nothing to be found. The link for Proto was still working, but doing a search you cannot find it. So If you happen to have any of these apps on a tablet, or purchased but not downloaded, I recommend doing that now in case they all disappear.
The *ONLY* Touch app continuing to be developed for Android will be Photoshop Touch.
I had a very short twitter conversation with them and as of today they said, only Photoshop touch will continue for Android.
Here's a screenie of the convo...

Facebook Home is here !!!
As many of you know Modaco has already got a copy of it.
It is meant to be officially released via the Play Store this Friday the 12th.
It doesn’t consist of one APK however, it consists of three.
Those being the main Facebook app (katana), the messenger app which integrates into your SMS (orca) and the home/launcher app (shell).
It is pre-release, so try it out at your own risk. Reports have said it’s a little buggy but it mostly works.
Requirements for the apps is having a 1280×768 screen. You’ll also need to uninstall all your current Facebook apps.

Application refused by GoogleStore

Hi all
It's been a few months since I registered as a developer to present my apps on the Playstore, for 15 applications I have 3 that have been rejected with always the same error that is:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Do you know what is mean and what is the problem, because in view of this message it is very difficult to guess what to change in the application to be allowed to be published.
Should it change the code of the application, the images of presentation of the card, the text of presentation, the category ...
Also something that I never understood, I have a free flashlight application (with pub) that has been validated and I decided to recreate the same but without ads (following customer requests) and I I put paid, it's the same presentation, the same application but the application was rejected for the same message as above.
Thanks :good:
Good night
