Hello,
I'm here with a little problem and i just can't get it back to work.
When i instal a App my Galaxy S installs it but when i go to my app drawer it won't show the newly installed app. But in the setting menu you can see that the app is installed but i can't open it or whatever because the icon isn't there!
This problem is repeating it self even when i put a new ROM on the phone!
I hope you guys could help me here...

hi guys while i am installing apps they are getting installed in the phone memory plz tell me the way to get then installed in my memory card
Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > [App you want to move] > Move to SD card
Simple as that, although not all apps can be moved, depending on what ROM youre using.
Cyanogenmod 7 also has a setting to automatically install all apps to the SD card, but that really isnt always the best option.
You need the App 2 SD app.

Which app you try to download and you get an error?
Which phone you using and what‘s the total internal memory?
link2sd
can you try for app link2sd?
Try data2sd.
Or link2sd.
Just make a partion on the sd.
And then flash it script that supports your Rom.

First root your mobile and move apps to SD card with links2sd.
You can also uninstall unwanted system apps with this app once you root your device.

Use TITANIUM BACKUP to uninstall any app you don't use. Be carefull! To prevent any problem, do a BACKUP of that app before deleting it.

I think Titanium is good. The apps above is ok
Ýou can use Apps2SD or. For rooted android phones, Links2SD which allows ýou to move more apps to SD card than Apps2SD.

Is it possible to keep an apk in the rom, but make its shortcut disappear from the programs menu in the launcher?
I am using the latest official Cyanogen 10.1.
Thanks in advance

You could use something like MyBackup Pro or Titanium Backup to "freeze" the app. That will keep it installed but non-functional and it would not appear in the available apps until it is unfrozen.
There are also launchers that have the option the hide an app from your app drawer
Thanx for the replies...I found a solution using the CCSWE App Manager which can do just that.
