Hi,
I have a Galaxy Fit I bought on 15th Oct 2011 and I'm from Bangalore, India. On the stock rom of my phone, I had a swype keyboard but lost it after i flashed it to other mods. I now need the exact swype keyboard. I have tried downloading a stock rom from samfirmware but I did not get the exact version of the swype that I wanted.
P.S.
Maybe this must be in the Q&A section but this is an app that I need, not sure where it must go, so posting it here. Is there an XDA app for android?

Are you sure it's this particular version?
Why through cwm?
sigh... its almost good. not the exact version. the suggestion box in this is horizontal, need it vertical. ill post pics of it.
I think this version is in XWKQ2 firmware. You can extract from it.
But it is an older version.

It was gr8 dude..but language option is unavailable. I mean it can't predict anything even English.

Sorry but I don't know about languages. Language files are there in the apk file of Swype.
But don't know why it's not working..

hmmm, I have the language option on my phone. Maybe it's your rom, android version.. Try long pressing the Q button on the keyboard. =)
Ya..it generally happens with cyanogenmod ROMs..

I use RazoDroid. Another request, is the cursor in swype based on the rom or the version? cuz this one is not nice and the one I used to use, was more rounded and could change words by double-tapping them, i.e double tap a word and it's selected and the suggestion box is shown. now I have to click on it and click the swype button.
Also, the cut, copy, paste option now is horizontal and disappears after a few seconds where as before it was vertical.
Also, the dragging to select some text is different..

I have these keys dude.but as u C there is no language to select. Cursor's shape is depended on ROM & also copy,paste... options

Cursor button depends on the ROM.
And if you have problem with this version use the previous version from that link which I provided to you since it have better options like,
Swype from Swype key to,
'a' : to select all text
'c' : to copy selected text
'v' : to paste copied text
'x': to cut selected text
See the 'How to Swype', it will give you the idea.
And it's new version.

Hey man never use rom manager I will brick your phone
1. Download Odin
2. Download www.mediafire.com/?zb2xvhktd0xd7w0 (clockwork recovery)
3. Download TASS_ v1.ops
4. Flash it in recovery
5.don't forgot to click on pack
6. After getting it reboot your phone in recovery (home button and power button) in cwm select zip from SD and install did from SD select the file and press yes you are done

Delete 'Facebook for HTC Sense' app - system/app/HtcFacebook.apk (com.htc.socialnetwork.facebook)
Unfortunately you cannot use this MOD at same time, but it is possible to use 'Facebook for Android'.
Check your setting (Setting>Applications>Management applications>Unknown sources)

Hmm, i installed the 2.3.5-Version.
But if i press the Facebook-Button once, the currently active application gets force-closed. If i long-press the button, the phone makes a quick-restart.

You just Uninistall the fakebook program !!!

How to install:-

If you opened it before, on the CM9 Beta 7, it will.
Guys it will work like it worked in stock rom.

I used root explorer bt it showed up as an app in app drawer..
And not working like stock..long pressing home key doesnt work..

ohh that feature............yes its there for this task manager.......
long pressing home button do show recent app.........i have tested this.......just try to run task manager once and maybe reboot after that and see..........

It's included in CM. Anyway, thanks! One of the best file managers, it has a lot of compression options. Though I have not been able to copy or move files. Do you know how to do it? I haven't found such option in context menu.

tick whichever file/s you want then go to wherever folder you want to paste, select lower left option button and press paste selection. also there is option of move selection.

Long press the home screen, select Settings. Select Voice. Select Language to change the default. Change to another language, I choose English – UK. Hit Home. Do a Google Search. Repeat the first three steps. Change back to English – US.

I tried i too and still doesn't run. I've got last stock rom.
why?
Im using st26i. Android 4.1 offical not rooted. I can install all of the listed apks. When I try to open the launcher he says google has stopped. I can't do the fix, because I can't open the launcher. Any body has a fix? (Sorry for my english .)
I'm not sure what is the problem with the app.. But when ever I open the app it says.. "problem praising the package" (home and velvet)

@ OP
For 100% work launcher on Xperia 2011 you needed Android 4.2.2 and higher .
This launcher only works with 4.2.2+ or 4.1.2 samsung roms (idk why)
