[Q] Does the TF300T have Hynix or Kingston eMMC NAND? - Transformer TF300T Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Does the TF300T have Hynix or Kingston NAND flash?
I was just wondering because the Prime has both.
Also is the 8GB Nexus 7's NAND flash (Kingston) faster than the TF300's?

Thanks. Did you see any other chips/modules in there?
I wonder if the 32GB model has Kingston RAM? Or whether or not it varies by what components the factory had at the time.

There are quite a lot of threads started for the same issue. To resolve it factory reset/wipe everything

Usable storage with MM

Hi,
what is the usable storage on a Nexus 5 with Marshmallow. I'm using Cataclysm and have 12.xGB to work with. Is that normal?
26.76GB on a 32GB model.
You should factory reset your phone to get full 26 gb instead of 12 gb when updated to Marshmallow
Aaaand I forgot to mention that I have the 16GB Nexus 5, sorry. In comparision to the 32GB model I'd say that 12.xGB seem about right

Its around 12.6gb, they assumed it was 32gb variant

Nexus 5 eMMC choose (H)ynix variant or (E)lpida variant

I, have both nexus 5 atm and i need to sell one, i have a 16GB (Hynix) and a 32GB (Elpida) to choose and swap boards
I had read that Elpida variant could brick since the hynix variant is soooo less possible to brick.
I knew a guy that has a Elpida and wanted a Hynix one cuz he argue that one doesnt brick.
What do u know about that?

Please, help me.
I have the 32GB D820 with Elpida hardware. Do you guys know if it's safe to flash a custom ROM without 'killing' the eMMC?

eMMCs can be killed if the phone is exposed to extreme temperatures from what I've heard. Exynos Galaxy S3 had the 'sudden death' issue because of a software failure.
