[Q] Screen rotation P6810 - Galaxy Tab 7.7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi everyone,
I have a P6810 and tried JB a while ago to see how it worked (cant remember the exact ROM) and I remember there was a problem with all JB ROMs back then where the screen would automatically wake in landscape mode rather than portrait - as I often use the device in portrait I resorted to going back to stock ROMs. I wanted to try the new CM10.1 ROMs on the P6810 and was wondering if the issue still exists?

nope... its ok on cm10.1 but the problem is the sudden reboot when it not in use... XP

What happens then the device just reboots once or continually. Is there any solution on the horizon?

[Q]How to solve Galaxy Tab 2 autorotate problem

Please, I installed CM 9, then CM 10 on my P5100 but screen auto rotate does not work. I have tried enabling auto rotate in settings and also tried with and without a custom launcher (Apex launcher) to see if enabling auto rotate in the launcher would be of any help. All have failed. Auto rotate on the Stock ROM works fine. I want to know if this is peculiar to cyanogen mods or maybe I am getting something wrong. I love CM 10.1. Would also welcome suggestions about other ROMs that might not have this problem. Thank you.
Look at the thread maybe other people have had this? If not, try the black hawk Kernel

Need Advice: unsolved SOD case.

hi guys,
i had this SOD plague about a year and it's unsolved. tried every method and workarounds, but failed. i already reflashed it from froyo to GB and to cm10, also tried every cm10 kernel, same result. it happened when i turn off the screen, it just dies.. i had to take out the battery, insert it and switch it back on. at one time on cm10, i flashed crackerizer kernel and SOD went away.. but battery consumption too high and i can't stand it.
recently i downloaded DDLF2 package, after that i flashed LoLa's Like S4 rom but i got SOD.
so, any ideas what causing it?

If you got sod even in stock roms maybe its hardware problem cuz stock kernels rarely give sod.

Wifi not working with custom roms on n8013

A few days ago I got my new Galaxy Note 10.1 wifi edition (the n8013 I believe). I rooted it then flash the latest CM 10.1 nightly only to find wifi does not work... I subsequently tried a few other custom roms (I think they were all based on cm10.1 which may be the problem). Wifi will turn on and recognize my network but when I try to connect it simply says "connecting" and then a few second later goes back to "saved, secured with WPA2". I'm relatively sure it is not my router since my laptop and phone are constantly connected and my tablet could connect on TouchWiz.
I've looked all around XDA and other forums to see if anyone has this issue and I could only find one topic but it had no resolution. I figure this must no be too common since Wifi, at least for the n8013, is the only way of connecting to the internet.
Any one have a similar problem or know how to fix it? Should I try flashing a rom that isn't based on CM10.1? I could just go back to stock TouchWiz but I'd rather not...
There's some good roms that are based on stock. I never used cm 10.1 so I don't have an answer for that. I am on an experimental build of 10.2 and wifi works just fine.

U have mistake when flash rom not for 8013. Now U only 1 way is flash stock rom and factory reset after the first boot.
If U wanna CM rom, u have to reconized what rom affordable for 8013 first.

WiFi is a function of the kernel .

[Q] Constant ROM issues

Hi all!
I recently purchased a Galaxy Note 10.1 N8000
So first things first, flashed TWRP and did a backup
I have since downloaded and tried to flash:
- CM10.2 - whenever I do the wifi connects momentarily, then drops out...hangs for a moment and repeats
- Illusion ROM - simply sits at the "ANDROID" boot animation and doesn't load
- Ubuntu Touch - ultimately did work, but I found it to be abit unstable, laggy and not ready for daily use
I also flashed CWM and tried again - and with the same results
What have I missed?
I have tried flashing multiple times, each time restoring my original ROM, then wiping cache/dalvik/data, flash custom ROM, wipe cache/dalvik
So could this be a Kernel issue? flashing from a stock 4.0.2 straight to a 4.3 ROM and it just isnt playing nice?
What more info can i give?
Bump
Nobody can help me here?

Only thing I can think of is odin back to stock and try again. I personally have suffered issues when coming from cm 10. Everything your doing sound right to me.
Tweaked Out
Odin back to stock...?
As in stock ROM or stock recovery?
ive only flashed recovery before...

Are you serious?!
I must've tried every combination of search terms regarding cm10.2 + n8000 + wifi issues imaginable
Thank you for verifying - do you have a link to a specific thread that i should be following to keep up to date with the ROMs progress on n8000 ?

I would start with the CM discussion thread .
I understand some have solved the problem using older wifi folder .
