download > extract > get the apk file > install it in your phone
100% work.
The Miracle has come
It was already there in Themes & Apps section, I just wasn't sure if it was Xperia J compatible.
Thx for posting. Although, this patch was meant for Tipo, it's nice to hear it works with J too, and possibly also with Miro, I guess
Does this apk do harm to mobile and need root ??

Well rachit7, clearly the original poster tested it himself.
+ it has been fully tested on Tipo
+ it's sony's official screen patch, so it should work just fine

not much improvement
Hi guys, my Xperia J didnt improve much after calibrating. Am I doing something wrong? I rooted my phone with unlockroot..that seems to reduce the lag as well.
1.Any more suggestions to get rid of the lag ?
2.Would installing a customer ROM make it faster ?
My Go SMS & Go Contacts come up after only after 3-5 seconds .. Please help
Thanks so much man. I just used it on my Sony Xperia J and now touch screen works perfect. Great job man!
I would suggest flashing jelly bean. I flashed jelly bean, CE version a while back ane the lag was reduced. Then i installed a small calibration apk (similar to this one) and from that day i never had any kind of lags on my xperia j. I feel like i have a new phone lol

Root it and get a custom ROM.
Nothing else will truly help.

what H3llwar said or you might have a lot of apps on your device you might want to delete them. you could also have a bunch of apps in the background and might want to close the ones your not using.
Root it, and install link2sd to freeze all useless apps (g play, facebook, youtube) then it will have no lag, also tick force gpu rendering.

Xperia J is a great designed phone with one flow - to less RAM.
So to get it to work without lag, i recommend You to use CM10 with the Vengeance Kernel. :highfive:
You can find how to root and all the reset here:

Hello. I'm new here, and I need your help. I have a Xperia J rooted, with stock ROM and locked bootloader. In the options it says that isn't allowed to unlock it. Does anyone knows how to unlock it or if its possible to change the ROM and how. Thanks in advance and sorry if it is in the wrong seccion.
Sent from my ST26i using xda app-developers app
You could Use AVD Rom or try via fastboot, downgrade to stock ICS
After making the downgrade, will the bootloader be unlocked? Sorry about the question but I'm a litle new in android roms.
