[Q] make a flashable package

i am a newbie...
i wanted to ask if it is possible to flash a package in cwm which contains all the .apks i want in my cell
that i thought would make installing apk at once once i flash a new rom instead of app backup and restore
just flash such a package and its done.
i want to know is it possible to make such a flashable package///

yes it is possible i think so but it will not be much successful to make a flasheble ip of apks..
btw in a rom in system there are all req apks of phone that can be combined together.. but still there is a risk of briking your device so better not to flash your homemade zip.. ..

But how many apps u can flash???...our phone has hardly 200 mb internal menory in system/app...and except official cm7 all the roms occupy 160-170 mbs of space by default...and if it reaches to 190 phone starts lagging like hell and starts giving memory full warnings...so installing them is the better way or buy a S3

[Q] questions to guide me in my phone

Dear all I want to change my ROM but by your experience I need to have answers for these questions
to have the decision to start or not please help me and thank you all .
First I have LG P500
android : 2.2.2 V10h
kernal version : 2.6.32.9
the phone is rooted
ROM manager is installed and I made a backup in CWM
1) is there any other backup should I have ?
2) is there any risk by installing a new ROM by the CWM / if yes what is the best way ?
3) if i have backed up the Ndrive through titanium backup can I have back in a new ROM ?
4) if I didn't like the new ROM with CWM can I have my old one as it was with Ndrive working good ?
5) what is the best ROM for my phone ?

Note : most what I care is the Ndrive because I use it alot and it help me alot .

if you installed CWM and did a backup, is OK
no risk installing a new rom trough CWM, I have inslalled alot(I didn't try other recovery but if you want someting else search forum for it) any recovery is good, alot of people says that CWM is a liitle old and have some problems, but if it works for you, use it, I didn't have any problem, for installing new rom read careffuly the OP instructions, all of the post(do not miss anything), and it will work, read here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=901247 but not all roms are included, for that search http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=839 or http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1545
everything backuped with TITANIUM can be restored if you didn't erased it from sd card, by formating or partitioning(one more tip is to go in titanium folder in sdcard an extract apk manualy and install it), trough TITANIUM install app+data, after restoring do not open app, chooze ok and let TITANIUM restore data for app
yes you can restore the original rom by CWM but some times it will not work propertly, better try another custom rom that you will like(there are alot of them, serch and read feedback)

I like ICS, but you can search to see what suits you, ICS is good for O1 despite of ram usage, I like it more than GB(old), JB is too large for me and my phone memory

thanks but one more question the app ndrive is it now working good with new ROM ??

You shouldn't have any compatibility problems with NDrive. I'd recommend that you flash a rom, test the apps you need and if they don't work, flash another rom.

I have tested NDrive on lots of ICS roms and it's working fine, haven't tried it on JB tho.

guys i am using xperia tipo stock rom....... yesterday i rooted my phone using bin4ry's method and installed CWM v6, then i installed some themes created by myself....
after that i tried this launcher port... it didnt work http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2117949
after some time i realized that i get the "Android is upgrading;optimizing apps;" window every time i reboot my cell taked almost 3 minutes for a reboot because of this bug...
please if anybody knows a solution for this problem then please help

Did you backup on cwm? You can try restore.
Otherwise flash ftf with flashtool.

i tried backing up but i had only 700MB on my sdcard which wasnt sufficient
i dont want to reflash... i there any other way please?

Since u have a launcher installed on ur phone try moving xperia home to sd card from system/app/
It worked for me i had the same problem when i ported walkman app on my tipo every time i boot it shows android is upgrading
When i moved(deleting also works but u need to have a copy of it) default music player from this folder

Why u don't want to reflash.....!!!
U can keep all ur data and apps after flash
Just tick no final verification and wipe cache only not wipe data and all our apps will be restored again...:laugh:

Is there any script which would make ext 4 working on stock Rom ?
I have Kingston class 4 8gig card with 512 mb partation and I'm in stock Rom and want to use my partation
If I any script which works on stick Ron is there then pls post it here

Sorry, but you would have to flash a ROM which has support enabled.
Presuming that your Pico is rooted, here is a Stock ROM with EXT support, all thanks to immortal_yash.

And I want a script which can be flashed without wiping my data off on my current Rom.
I have partationed my sd card using cwm recovery , earlier I was using sense 4 flyrom v3 and for that I had partitioned but due to delay in launching apps and laziness of that Rom I switched back to stock but now I'm running out of space for my apps , so that's why I'm asking for script working on it ,

Check for yourself using any root app. Is there a folder /etc/init.d? If there is, then, you can flash any of the scripts like int2ext, a2sd, etc.
If there is no such folder, then, search for a ROM with init.d script support.

Yes , there is a folder so named . Please check screenshot . Can I flash mount 2 SD script now (aroma installer ) would it safe ?

Then guess you can...
But proceed at your own risk. These scripts are meant to be initialised during the first booting of a ROM. So, be careful and take a Nandroid backup in any case.

I've flashed m2sd and have enabled moving of apps to sd-ext and I rebooted , nothing happened . It was just a normal reboot . I guess I should use another script . Would you please suggest me some working script which do the same job better ?

Did the first boot take some time?
If yes, check your internal memory.
If nothing changes, install apps like S2E or try the Mounts2SD from the play store and try. Since you have installed Mounts2SD, you would have to try installing the Mounts2SD app from play store.

regarding Sense 5 EX [BUILD#6-V1}

i flashed the Sense 5 EX [BUILD#6-V1] rom wit d instructions given by @Hpsgill .. but the rom didnt boot and was stuck at the htc sense 5 bootscreen. so i flashed it without adding the script in the rom. my phone booted successfully so i thought to use mounts2sd script to increse the memory bt when aftr configuring the app when i restarted the phone ws again stuck on boot animation.. when i went back to the thread i saw almost evryone who added a memory script going through the same problem. i wanted to ask whether any1 who didnt go through this prblm can help me in any way bcoz the rom luks awesome and i wuld like to try it out but the low memory prblm making it difficult..

i already tried dat. bt my phone stuck on boot screen for more then 20 mins.. but when i installed without the script it booted succesfully..

pls sumone help me with this matter.. i really need a working script for this rom that dsnt make the rom stuck at bootanimations

Guys why are u taking internal memory issue so high,,everyone posting about memory script
Try youself,,always do clean installs when experimenting anything

SORRY FOR BAD ENGLISH
i am using this rom for 2 weeks without any issues....but some minor lags as rom use is too much...thank him it is the excellent sense rom for our pico....if u want to know what i did...here it is
1:downloaded 1:rom
2:jaggydzire_finalizer(apps moving script)
3:new patch 3 flyrom (for no lags and good ui)(as he posted in 1st post)
2:entered recovery and did....partition sd card ext3(1gb)
.....swap 0
.....reboot recovery
...wipe data/factory reset
....wipe cache
.....wipe dalvik cache
3:flash rom
4:wipe cache
5:flash new patch 3 flyrom
6:flash jaggydzire_finalizer
7:reboot system
wait for 15-20 mins...
setup the phone
download S2E app....open it "mark" all options including Dalvik cache...restart the phone
again enter inti s2e ...open menu-->settings mark all options
again restart the phone
that's it now all ur apps wil be installed on ext3
enjoy...
##IMP::ONT MAKE ANY CHANGES TO ROM.ZIP AS IT LEADS TO BOOTLOOPS....SIMPLY FLASH ALL FILES IN CORRECT ORDER##

Had the same problem. The following worked for me:
Delete facebook account from htc sync.
Disable facebook app and facebook for htc in the apps list. Clear app caches.
Uninstall any update to facebook app.
Update facebook app to latest version.
Login in the facebook app.
Create facebook account in htc sync and it should request authorization. Click ok and it should work!

lock screen
can anyone guide me regarding this issue, i have deleted the htc sense lock app using root explorer. now when the phone is locked and received the call unable to answer the call and have to unlock the screen and answer the call. pls guide me, i am end user not developer.

push the htclockscreenlite.apk(take from rom zip) to system app with required permission

Just do a clean installation. Use Twrp recovery. let the rom boot first. then reboot again. then go to recovery and paste flyscript to init.d folder using recovery file manager

Internal Memory after the Patch 3
hi devs,
i installed the rom and finalizer, everything works fine till i install patch 3. after installing patch 3, problem starts with below issues.
--> while installing path 3, phone struck at htc sense 5 screen.
--> after doing clean install, now I am facing the internal memory 5 mb left.
--> now i am unable to install any apps as the memory is 5Mb, i am not gettting out of this what ever I do.
please help me in this, give brief instructions as i am end user not developer....
Issue solved by using, cute-prince nand recovery procedure......
