Hi,
i get this issue within one week after purchase due to some personl reson i cant go to d servc center. d problm is my sg2 goes into deep sleep and doesn't wake up on incoming calls or messages or by pressing any of the buttons. Only available option is to keep the Power button pressed for 10 sec to restart it.
Strange thing, although it doesn't answer to any command the phone is connected to the network, people are calling and for them is ringing and no answer. But for me nothing showing and after restarting there is no log of the calls or messages received during this SOD stage.
It doesn't happen everyday, like 1-2 times a week, but is very annoying to check continuously on your phone to be sure is still working.

any solution when your vibra on our hima gets weaker?
I left my device syncing on the computer while im eating my dinner..
When i came back i saw my device recieved 2 msgs and still vibrating and never stop vibrating..
The reason why it keeps on vibrating is when the msgs come the phone virate then suddenly the system stackup so the device is keep on vibrating.. i gues it is vibrating for almost 15 mins whithout stopping..
When i reset my device.. the vibra stop then thats the time my vibra becomes weak..
Any resolution?
I held off from posting this, because I can't seem to find a reason why it's happening.
Basically, I'll get a phone call. I'm close to the phone, and have no problem answering it immediately. But maybe 3 out of 7-8 calls, I can't answer it. It'll just keep ringing until the calling party gets my voicemail. I hit the green phone button, the left menu button (for answer), even the word "answer" on the bottom of the touch screen itself. No matter what I do, the call will not pick up. Keep in mind, there is no Bluetooth involved. If I do happen to have a bluetooth earpiece on, I can hear the call ringing in the earpiece, but pressing the action button doesn't pick up the call like it should.
I'm at my wits end here. What could possibly be causing this?

Is your memory getting junky? I presume that the call application takes a lot of memory that it got full and had nothing left to take your response back Im not sure though. Do you ever get complaints like no signs of an Incomming call when people call you? I get it sometimes and still exploring to find a solution.
Regards,
Carty..
The only 3rd party app I have installed is Opera Mobile. I only run it when I need it, and always use the "exit" option. I keep my phone as fresh as possible by killing unnecessary apps. The only things that stay open are my threaded message chat and Outlook.
As for your missed call (straight to voicemail), this happens to everyone not on 3g. For some reason, voice calls will not go through when there is net access. I don't know why this phone can't prioritize. My BB Pearl had no problem with that. If I was loading a webpage, it would simply pause the download and the phone would ring. Not sure, but maybe it has something to do with EDGE. I don't think the Treo 750 has EDGE capability...
The 750 definetly has EDGE, but it's usually CDMA phones with 1x that have the issue of not being able to take a phone call while transfferring data. It does sound like you could have another lemon 750 on your hands.

My experience wasn't as bad as yours. It just took a very long time between seeing the ringing icon and the time the phone actually rings, and then a long time between pressing the answer button and the time the call started.
I upgraded to WM6 and from the few calls I received since it appears the problem is now resolved and the 750 behaves like a normal phone.
Hope this helps.

I am having the same problem if you come up with a fix please let me know. the only thing I found that helps is to make your phone ring longer to give you a better shot at answering. here is a link to this fix

Peculiar issue. Happened twice this morning and had to reboot each time.
I call a number that is busy, in this case a landline, and my phone won't hangup. I press the button, but my phone continues to give me the busy signal.
Experiencing this as well...unbelievably frustrating
Hi!
I'm having a problem from 2 days ago, until then everything was fine.
I'm on CrDroid version 14-OCT-2014 and eXperience kernel v16.
I receive a call, I answer and approx 30 sec later, during the call suddenly a person on the other end cannot hear me (altough I can hear him) and 1 sec later I feel a vibration on my cheek and I see then a call has been terminated... and a screen becomes unresponsive, I cannot unlock it with swipe, but the buttons react.
Then a person on the other end calls me again but I can't answer the call because the touch doesn't react. So I'm pressing power button longer and it reboots ant everything is fine again.
It's not related to cpu governors, or schedullers... maybe proximity sensor or something... Anyone has any idea?
My Mi Note 10 updated to Android 11 with MIUI 12.1.3 and now when I get an incoming call, sliding up the button to answer the call doesn't work. The button sides up, the screen goes black for a few seconds, then the green button appears again, and sliding it up does nothing.
Someone else I know who has the Mi Note 10 had the same happen to them a few times.
Anyone else experiencing this? Any ideas how to fix it?
I should add that it's not just on the phone, but today I couldn't answer from my car's screen either. Pressing the Answer button on the car's screen could not make the Note answer the call.
I don't have the update yet, but often issues after updating can sometimes be fixed after resetting your phone.
A clean install is generally more stable than an updated one, so it's worth a try.
Good luck,
Oliver

And working?
I just reset all the data, keeping my fingers crossed it fixes the problem.
Thanks!
Sadly, it keeps happening. It seems random, but about 40% of the time I keep hitting the answer button in the notification on top of the screen and nothing happens.
Or, the green Answer button will appear at the bottom of the screen, but when I slide it up, the screen goes blank and then the green button appears again. The call never gets answered.
Similarly, when I dial out, many of the calls would ring once and then it cuts off.
It's really frustrating. I am using Google-Fi.
The same is happening with me.
It happens when you're not connected to the wifi. It's a bug related to mobile data, when the mobile data is turned on you cannot receive calls neither decline them.
I have tried clearing data of dialer app, but it only works for a little time, then the bug again starts to act up.
The main bug is only for when you try to recieve or decline the call with sliding, you can answer the call from notification shade.
Solution: A temporary solution i found is when you're getting a phone call, turn off you mobile data then you can answer the call.
