Aegis Trident Case

I ordered 2 of these cases yesterday (Dad & I) off of Amazon for $22 each. I'll make a review on them once they arrive. I'm pretty excited!

i just put mine on my phone... and i absolutely love it... doesnt make the phone as bulky as i thought it was going to be... definately not as bulky as my G2 i used to have... especially with the otterbox case i had on it.

Favorite Case

Just curious what everyone's Favorite case for their HTC Sensation 4g is? I was looking at otter box but my son's otter box for his iPad has torn apart and that mif's me. Which do you guys like and why?

the case is attractive.

I'm using a Qubits Twill TPU case. It was only a few UK Pounds on Amazon, so it'll probably be less than 5 US Dollars.

The amazon case is the best i've seen. I know they are expensive but well worth it. Very good quality and auto wake/sleep function.

Contact Poetic cases off of amazon. They make killer cases and even copies of the official amazon case for about 20 percent of the price. Great warranty and excellent customer service.

+1 I got an Amazon branded case with my KFHD89 purchase and it's very nice. Makes volume/power button access much easier and the magnetic power on power off feature is nice.

I am thinking about getting the Ionic case, I got the EEEKit one the other day and it's nice though the KFHD89 fits slightly lose in it.

I ended up changing my mind, and going with the stock amazon case.
I'm not really liking it though. Fit is very nice, but when the cover is opened all the way against the back of the tablet, and you're holding it, the edges of the case are kind of "sharp", and dig in, at least the way I hold it.
It looks nice, but I'm not 100% sure I'd recommend it to anybody.

Unfortunately it is a knockoff of the Case Crown, also sold on Amazon. It has one flaw (major) and one minor one for me. First, the Kindle is housed in the case UPSIDE DOWN! Didn't know there was an upside down? Shut you Kindle .9 down. reboot with the camera on your right side. Notice that the icon comes up upside down? !!! No big deal? You will find ESPN and Dish (slingbox) to name a couple In the instant of the Case Crown, you can rotate the holder 180 degrees so that the .9 is held correctly. Unfortunately that defeats the magnetic On off feature. The case is MUCH larger than the Amazon case making it just a tad more difficult for those of us who do not have extra large mitts to hold it in one MITT for an extended period of time. The added bulk and weight was just not my cup of (bourbon), Tea.
I sent my Case Crown back last week right after the Kindle case arrived. The Amazon case is expensive I think, could have at least had Plush leather and the sharp ridges on the right side of the case fall just where my thumb sets. but then, it's the only game in town at the moment.

Addition to my last note on the .9 Case alternatives. ANY bifold case will set the Fire, be it 7" OR 8.9" upside down in the case.

The Amazon case is pretty much the only one that puts the camera towards the spine of the case. Its only really an issue if you have to hold the spine on the left. Open it with the spine on the right and everything is dandy. I think of it more a design flaw with the kindle than the case makers. They also decided to put the power port on the bottom when setup in landscape mode (like most folks will use for extended viewing, or using with a keyboard, etc. Some of the trifold cases get the ports off the ground a bit more where you might be able to squeeze the power in, but its something to look for when buying if that's important to you.

Anyone know where to purchase the official bumper in the GTA? I would prefer to buy it at a store and not from Google Play as it costs almost 35 dollars with shipping and taxes. Thanks

Hello my fellow Canadian,
I live down in London and was in the same boat as you. Everywhere I went it was either sold out or they didn't have it. Your only chance is to buy it online. You can check out futureshop or best buy, they have it on there for 24.99 with free shipping I think but they only have the black one. Ebay and amazon is another method but don't know about the shopping cost. Www.Puremobile.ca is another site but I think they might be still sold out. You could also check those Wind stands in the mall, I went to one of them before but they were sold out.
I ended up getting my white (they have the black one also) OEM Bumper from www.blueshop.ca. It was Free shipping just had to pay the tax, came in 2 days.
Don't know where other members got their bumper from.

I actually just got it in the mail a couple of days ago, I was using the Rearth Ringke Fusion case for a while and then the Spigen ultra slim one for a bit. So far the bumper is great. There have been various reports that the bumper's aluminum finish that goes around it cracks at the bottom near the USB port. There are various replicas you can get if you don't want to drop 30 bones on the OEM one. The replica bumpers also breaks in the same place. Keep in mind the original OEM one is obviously made From better quality than the replicas. Some people like the replicas more, no idea why. The bumper doesn't give the phone that much bulk and only protects the edges obviously. You can combo the bumper with a dbrand skin and it would look awesome and also provides scratch protection for the back.
So far mine didn't break yet and my older brother had his for a couple of months and it didn't break yet. So we can only wait and see for now.

Using both of them each of them has their pro and cons.
OEM looks better than the Poetic Bumper.
Poetic Bumper is less bulky and easier to hold in the hand compared to the LG bumper.
OEM has better button clicks (has built in 'clicks')

In Toronto too.
I don't recommend the bumper due to the lack of protection for the rear glass panel. I got a very sturdy TPU case off ebay for $5. A friend scored the same thing for $3 =.=. Takes a while to ship from China, but totally worth it.
If you really want a bumper over a full case, you can still find it on ebay for single digit prices. It won't be the official one, but I doubt the official one is really any better.

Blueshop.ca has it. They also have great shipping times and prices for Canadians

Go with the Poetic bumper. Not as pretty but feels better in the hand, the rubber part grips better on flat surfaces and it's 1/3 of the price of the official bumper.

Really? Would PMall have Nexus 4 cases?

For OEM bumper, I think your best bet is as Kendaihou mentioned, futureshop or best buy.
If ever you pass by Quebec, you can get at a Videotron shop for $20 (this is where i got mine, and they used to carry a ton of them).
The reason that the grey plastic below the usb port cracks is due to bending with installation/removal. I find out if you don't remove the case often and only remove/bend it from the TOP corners, the plastic at the bottom of the usb port shouldl not crack.
And by the way, nothing beats OEM quality

Best Buy Platinum Case (seido surface oem)

got my note 4 today 10/17/2014. they had a couple of the platinum cases, but they couldn't sell them to me because there was a recall. i guess that's why seidio still has it listed as "under development". even still, 40 bucks for case and holster from best buy, vs 55 bucks plus shipping at seidio for the exact same case (except logo on kickstand). I picked up a spigen tough armor to hold me over in the meantime, but i thought i'd give you guys an update

They were selling a few when I picked mine up in AL. So YMMV on this one

That's odd Best Buy had the Seidio cases and Seidio doesn't have them. When I called them they said there was no ETA for the case/holster combo. Best Buy is also $20 cheaper than Seidio for the same case.

Its always like that. Seidio sales in bulk to bestbuy and produce cases for them first. In about a month they will have there on cases online for 59.00 . Been like this for yrs.

Seidio has the Surface w/ holster available. Best Buy had theirs about 2 weeks before they were available on the Seidio website but for some reason they were recalled. Everything on Seidio's website except the Surface & Surface holster are under development.

Case looks really good. A littel bit bulky for my taste.

Just got mine from Best Buy and it's not bulky at all. It's a thinner profile than my UAG case and really covers up the edges of the phone well, so much so that I can no longer see the halo on my tempered glass.

Its bulky compared to my Ringke slim. UAG cases are bulky also. I guess it all depends on what you are comparing to.

Got mine from best buy for $33 when i bought my note 4

got one of these cases today, however will be returning it tomorrow. I dont suffer from the unsnapping like some people have said, however, the phone feels very loose in the case and the case creaks and is not "snug". Probably picking up the ringke case tonight from amazon.
