Totally agree. I've been loitering here for about 6 months before joining, and the information has been such a huge use to me in rooting my phone and putting various custom ROMs on it.
Now just keeping my fingers crossed that Santa will bring me CyanagenMod 9 for Christmas

Hey guyz this is KKRRAAZZYY. Today i have got my new phone i.e. HTC 1 X AND I had sold my beloved i9003 AND I AM ALSO PLANNING TO BUY GALAXY S3 when it will be released . NOOO! KKRRAAZZYY!!! YOU TOO!!! recently there are many i9003 leaving... but now, we have lost one of the greatest theme maker as well as a modder. but we will continue your path into leading this phone to its full capacity.
but i might not go long with this phone as well. after my phone breaking down on internal sd & motherboard, i might need to buy a new one instead. it still has warranty but the receipt has been misplaced here at home. buying a new one might be a better idea than paying alot to change the motherboard.
wow. you're buying an s3!!!! please pm me and give me pics if you get one!!! but it'll take time before the release on asia. samsung said on the live gadget show it'll go out on may 29.. but first on europe..... then in ASIA. i might buy an s3 but there is a higher chance i'd get an s2...

Developers really come and go... Poor Galaxy SL... Phones also have their shining times too...

I hope you guys get what this issue resolved i really do... im routin for you!
But if all else fails.. i get a custom rom for your device till you get a new phone of you cant wait, then dont buy another sony phone till they up their game... make them learn the hard way.
I got the long awaited XperiaS as soon as it come out.. you know their "flagship" phone that didnt even come with ICS out the box?... and when it did finally arrive it was a nightmare and various users had many different issues.
I recently heard the 2012 devices will get an update next spring?! No thanks sony im using a 4.1.2 rom already!
...And they wonder why their phones arent competing with samsung.
