Hi, i've installed igo primo 2 (9.6.5.211211) on my htc mega t3333. Everytime i start the app i need to do a screen alignment so is there any way i can disable this screen align procedure? perhaps a registry tweak whould work

i disabled the dimka skin and no more screen calibration at igo loading screen but igo runs very slow like has no memory, also i discovered that this line in the sys file is the source of my problem: "[utility] calibratefix=1"

you can use Igo primo 1.2 (8.5.11.154123 aug 1 2010)... on my HTC mega it runs better than 2.0
yes, igo 1.2 runned ok, i wanted an upgrade to primo 2.0 for whatever reason
I think it is just a matter of time ... to get this version running ....

This is the new WWE WM6.1 CE OS 5.2.21109 Build 21109.1.6.0 Mobile Vista 4.00 SeaDragon Rom image.
It is developed in a friend's Herarld-P4350 (HER100), thnx for giving me for a while her precious device for cooking.
Again as for previous devices Mio-A701, Mio-A201, HTC-TyTN II-Kaiser and HTC-TyTN-Hermes the major tasks were:
- XIP porting.
- SYS porting.
- default.hv and user.hv development, initflashfiles.dat, packages.sof as well as provxml modifications.
The XIP is from TyTN II 6.1 official version and LZX implementation from Mio P550.
The SYS image is based on an Official WM6.1 CE OS 5.2.21109 ( Build 21109 AKU 5 that i named as 21109.1.6.0).
There will be three versions:
1. a complete one with YouTube ready that will include many applications and
2. a version without windows live and transcriber in order for M2D to work with YouTube due to rom memory restrictions.
3. the typical version with only Htc OEM and Microsoft WM6.1 SYS packages.
The following refers to the first one of previous para. (1).
The complete rom is YouTube ready, includes many applications and has Bluetooth wireless stereo quality as in TyTN II.
Before attempting to flash the rom make sure that your has IPL 4.17.0001 and SPL 4.17.0000
The rom does not include IPL, SPL and radio but includes Extended Rom with:
1. MP_CVSDcpl_20060920.cab and
2. PP_ExtVer.xml
Important note: If you install M2DSeaDragon.cab from VistalibWWE21109MVSD4_00\CabsToWindows
in ths version, then YouTube will not work due to the minimum memory requirement.

C. Instructions to successfully flash the rom image
Here bellow are the Instructions to successfully flash it.
Download and unzip the file: RUU_Herald_WWE_WM6.1.21106.MobileVista4.00SeaDragon_by_ansar.zip
and in the created directory you will have the following:
1. The folder: LOADER
2. The folder: RAPI
3. The folder: RUU
4. The folder: VistalibWWE21109MVSD4_00
5. The executable file: herald-uspl.exe and
6. The text file: readme.txt
Important note: You MUST have IPL and SPL at least 4.xxxx, as in my case are IPL 4.17.0001 and SPL 4.17.0000.
Power on your device, connect it with the usb cable to your PC or Laptop and ensure that activesinc is completed.
Double click on the executable file herald-uspl.exe and follow the instructions.
The RUUsigned.nbh rom image that is inside the RUU folder will be flashed and your device will finally boot.

In first time sorry for my little english...
- The camera works well.
- Messenger does not work in my Herald, I have installed another newer version (10.7.0057.0801) and it works perfectly.
- It takes in starts, not much but a little compared with others newer roms.
- wifi works at the first touch,good.
- I like the system of eyelashes in the part superior.
- It closes all the applications when touch "x", very good. Whith anothers rom´s I have problems.
I have only needed to install a .cab for the Spanish keyboard
For the moment is all. Now I will watch the battery consumption if it improves.

I'm wondering if you have thoughts of building a Hero style today screen for a future rom. I like the small weather info and that it reports for your location seperate from the weather tab.

I really dig your design. I remember using this ROM, but I don't remember why I stopped. I'm going to guess it was because it's too packed. Judging by the screenshots, it looks like you load it up quite a bit. It's great that you maintain three versions of this, so I hate to even ask, but is there any chance you can make a lighter version with M2D? I don't use any of the Live stuff or Opera Mobile, or the HTC YouTube program (Google's YouTube program is more lightweight), and correct me if I'm wrong, but the D3D thing is unnecessary since the video chip in the phone can't handle 3D, right?
I really like the uniformity of the design, though. It's the main reason I want to use this ROM.

One option is to use the existing typical version and install M2D cab from VistaLib.
Or you mean a new typical without windows live but with M2D ?

I meant the M2D version as you have it right now, but without HTC YouTube, Windows Live, and Opera Mobile. I don't use Window Live. I use Google YouTube and Opera Mini because they're more lightweight. I can integrate those into M2D with ease.
I had considered flashing your slimmer ("typical") one and then installing M2D and your blue theme(s) manually, but M2D is a bit beefy and always seems to mess something up when I install it from a cab, mainly because it's broken up into so many pieces: M2D interface, Audio Manager, Albums, Google Maps, and sometimes other shared runtimes, links, and resources. I once happened upon a M2D release that was spanned over nearly a dozen cabs.
Anyway, if it's too much work, I totally get it. I understand that I'm in no position to bark orders or anything, but I just figured it wouldn't hurt to ask in case it's not too much trouble. You did a great job working out the aesthetics on this ROM and creating a bit of uniformity throughout all the applications.

This is the new WWE WM6.5 CE OS 5.2.28005 Build 28005.5.3.0 Mobile Vista 6.50 SeaDragon Rom image.
It is developed in a friend's Herarld-P4350 (HER100), thnx for giving me for a while her precious device for cooking.
Again as for previous devices Mio-A701 and HTC-TyTN-Hermes the major tasks were:
- XIP porting.
- SYS porting.
- default.hv and user.hv development, initflashfiles.dat, packages.sof as well as provxml modifications.
The XIP is from 6.5 official version with XPR compression, LZX compression is not yet implemented.
The SYS image is based on an Official WM6.5 CE OS 5.2.28005 ( Build 28005 AKU 5.3.0 ).
The rom is UC ready includes many applications and has Bluetooth wireless stereo quality as in TyTN II.
YouTube is provided as a cab due to RAM needed.
Important note: You MUST have IPL and SPL at least 4.xxxx, as in my case are IPL 4.17.0001 and SPL 4.17.0000.
The rom does not include IPL, SPL, radio and Extended Rom.
If you have an SDConfig.txt file in your storage card this rom will execute it, so take care.

Power on your device, connect it with the usb cable to your PC or Laptop and ensure that activesync is completed.
Double click on the executable file herald-uspl.exe and follow the instructions.
The RUUsigned.nbh rom image that is inside the RUU folder will be flashed and your device will finally boot.

HI, very interesting ROM i would install it but i just got my wing so i am not completely feeling to flash my device for the forth or fifth time. One question though, where did you get Sliding Sounds i am very impressed that you got that, because in all the WM 6.5 i have seen none of them offer Sliding Sounds which is something that sucks BIG TIME! i was wondering if you have a program that installs it or something like that cab file??
If you make something like that i would be eternally grateful.
its a good rom the only problem is the menu needs a little cleaning and turn the font size down abit but overall i like it.. keep up the good work

Thanks, finally rapidshare let me to download it so I tested it today.
The design looks cool (home, comm mgr, phone etc), the items in start menu are good to be in categories, and theres still enough ram. The main problem is that its not really stable. It restarts itself often, randomly when its in use. (Eg; playing worms, screen fades white then reboot / listening music and cant turn the screen on again etc)
The align screen doesnt work perfectly for me, first time when the cross reached the 5. position the screen became white, but i was still able to guess where it is and tap it. Second time its simply freezed and rebooted, third time it worked as it should.
Better start menu icons would be cool, this Windows 98 style dont really pass to the "SeaDragon".
In this build i still miss the music playing while standby.
But still great work, thanks.

Angel reports no issues and loves the new rom, but in any case preserve these:
- In the first boot, after User Customization, wait some seconds before setting the screen.
.. This is required for some internal apps to complete.
- Keep this in mind for any application is started for first time and wait for any task to complete before launching a new one and
- use the task or process manager to delete backround applications to free up precious ram.

I say anything that can be found as a cab should be left off to save mem.
I really like the artistics of this ROM. Maybe we can collaborate and you can use my icons in my TribU2U ROMs, lol.

I agree with this comment. Nice rom but will wait for lite and stable version.
May be u can add "network wizard" for mms/internet connection setup. HTC Home app has taken the place twice in different folders. It's difficult to find app due to lost in folder tree. Need to simple and organized (and also more ram )

For example: Ankara is "MEA|TR|TU007|ANKARA".
For other cities see ChomeWeather Location Database.txt

just dl'ed the ROM ....grrrreat work !
But how do I get bluetooth to work ?
I simply can't activate it (wifi works without a problem !)

Hi guys,is there anyone that tried to install this new igo version on our acer s200?I tried but everything hang at the igo 8 screen...
I tried many times but the best i could do is the one i mentioned before.I used a specific package of branding.zip,data.zip,and sys.txt named AcerF1_specific,configured for our device from a greek guy in this forum (i ve downloaded the package from his blog,looking for something preconfigured to boot this suite on our phone) but maybe was made to use in another version of igo 8,not igo8 primo.
I can t even find the thread about this package,so please i ask if someone could help me

Do not use these files.They are for Igo8 and not IgoPrimo use.

Ok i ve found the way to boot igo primo in acer s200...This gps program is awesome,great 3d graphic...If someone need my sys.txt or any other file configured for acer s200,i can post those in the board

When i came back home i will post sys.txt and the other personalized file for s200 that are needed to boot igo primo on s200
there are white a few sys.txt floating around for wvga, but i couldnt find any real wvga , just the 240x400 streched versions. Did you have more success
Anyways i prefer igo8, more functions and i already got used to it

Actually, this is not completely true. All you need is a custom data.zip with the appropriate resolutions and a few entries in sys.txt. I will post an external link to the above mentioned data.zip and sys.txt changes as soon as a mod permits me to do that...
Use for example this data.zip and update your sys.txt accordingly:

vga=0
[rawdisplay]
highres=0
screen_x=800
screen_y=480
class="landscape"

I had many difficult to operate iGO Primo, so I share with you the files that posed problem to me.
I uploaded the data.zip working for Acer S200 (and other gps with 800x480 resolution).

igo primo 8.5.11.155811 works fine on my S200, supports 800x480, but one problem is that there is no method to receive TMC signal from S200 FM chipset, so cant use igo TMC function.
