Hi,
After using sense 4.x roms for a while, I've found myself back on sense 3.6.
Unfortunately, I'd gotten used to being able to apply status bar themes as and when I wanted to and have missed this since being back on 3.6. I found some but they seem to be for 3.32 based ROMs and don't work with 3.33 based ROMs, so I thought I'd try making some myself. I therefore present to you these AOSP status bar themes.
There's a green theme (as I think it compliments the sense green framework nicely) and a purple theme (made for my wife! )
If people like these then I may do some other coloured themes, maybe some other designs too.

Many of the source files come from Jerrytan's themes for sense 4.x (original thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1640467) and the flashable zip is from Super Swaggtastic's emoji mod (orignal thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1895610) as I can't make my own yet!!!

These were made based on Elegancia 3.7.0 ROM, with Darkforest tweaks installed, but should work on any sense 3.6/3.33 based ROM.
If you have Leedroid tweaks installed, the app drawer icon will change to Darkforest tweaks but the functionality of the tweaks app will not be affected and your tweaks settings will not be changed.
If you don't have any tweaks app installed, I'd recommend deleting the tweaks.apk from the zip before flashing.
Screenshots show green theme, Purple is the same and the battery is purple instead of green too (EDIT, added one screenshot of purple to give you an idea).
As always, making a nandroid backup before flashing is recommended :good:

There r a few readymade mods but for different devices. U can check in my Mods collection thread, goto sense 3.5 mods & u'll see a transparent status bar mod. Want to make a similar mod for sense 3.6, but things r different in it

Sorry fella, no good.
I had a look and replaced the files that I thought were relevant, with transparent ones, in systemui.apk but it didn't change anything.
Couldn't see anything relevant in framework-res.apk either. I wonder if HTC have moved the relevant file/files into an .m10 file somewhere in sense 3.6......

Apologies if anyone has been using the purple or blue themes, I noticed today that the GPS icons in the purple theme, and headphone icons in the blue theme, weren't working as they should.
This should now be fixed - please redownload and reflash, no wipe needed.

You should try it, it's so much faster and smoother!!
To be honest, the only feature I miss from Sense 4.x is the 'long press back to kill' mod and Jonny is set to release a new version of Darkforest in the next couple of weeks with this included....

It's the firmware essentially, as I understand it but I'll make the edits to the apk's from your Rom rather than mine, just to be on the safe side

the problem is that he`s taking certain apks from coredroid rom wich work with other apks that he didn`t take. The tweaks are control by the rosie apk,system ui apk,and settings apk my guest is that there is a apk missing some where wich tweaks call on

Only the button tweaks must be removed..
If you using the no core version
I will add an extra zip this morning, with the normal settings without tweaks for the non coredroid users.

If you have the Coredroid rom installed in your phone don’t need install the full theme, because the full theme has apks skinneds in blue that only are includeds in the Coredroid rom, if you have other rom with all stuff in green, you need to apply the full theme.

I got "Error 6" and it aborted...
Just downloaded your ROM but keep getting "aborted" everytime i've tried flashing it. I pulled battery,cleared everything,fixed permissions but to no avail

Well, I think its preatty same as the other roms, but the fact its debloated with over 50 apks means its have to be faster than usual.
I ll post tommorow zip with debloated apks, if anyone misses some kind of software.
Ofc, I need your feedback. So, we ll add some apks as well in future releases.

I think he means he removed a lot of apps that comes with the stock rom. So this rom is basically bare bones.

Well, I removed as much as I could. Its Sense based, but still much lighter than majority of similar roms.
But, if I clasify something as a bloatware, it doesnt mean its useless for you. Thats why I ll post a downloadable list with all of the apks I removed.

I have just placed screenshot of removed stock apps in the 2nd post.
Added the possibility to download the whole pack, so you can install the apks manually if something s missing for your daily use.
As this ROM is a work in progress, it would be great if you can help to debloat more apks, if left in the rom. I ll just need explanation and description of those apks and than we shall decide to remove it or not.

4ext is just preffered. But it will work fine if you flash via clockworkmod.

Great work. However, the status work *might* not work on ALL gingerbread 3.5 releases due to custom code in the status bar smali code for the "bulletproof" tweaks. If other ROMs don't have that code linked in the their frameworks, one might get a bootloop So this will only work(reliably) on ROMs with romanbb's tweaks builtin.

Will try but less chance of success because this Rom is senseless, and has its own separate launcher apps. I don't think we can modd that apks. Second problem this is ICS Rom so I can't flash anything to my phone to see is it working or not. I m on energy gingerbread whith old firmware.

Hi, this is my THEME for Sense 4 Htcdialer, Tested on OrDroid 2.1.1 ROM with no issue. I think it will work fine for other sense4 ROMs.
Two style themes for your choice:
One is the ICS BLUE style for HTC sensation, The other one is the RED style for HTC sensation XE with beats.
Just download it what you want and flash in recovery.

me too id love a red theme for sense4. i used to have one on sense3, but it got left behind as newer versions of sense arrived, and no one ever made another red theme for them. Id do one myself, if i had the time or patience to learn it, but sadly college keeps me too busy to spend that kinda time so far
