does anyone know if anyone is working on a hulu fix or app for the droid x. I know that the droid incredible has a hulu flash fix and app for there phone. Im just wondering if anyone has heard anything or know of a fix.
When I was on Windows Mobile I used skyfire browser to view the hulu site. It worked great. I haven't tried it on android though, but you may want to see if it works.
I cant get Hulu to show videos on any browser I use on my DroidX..
all say that the video cant be displayed on a mobile device or some garbage like that.
Try bitbop.com, they just released their Android app today to watch tv shows on your phone streaming or download. It is $9.99 a month after the trial, but you have to pay for hulu mobile on iPhone also. The content isn't quite as good as hulu yet, but they are more focused on mobile so it should catch up.
try this
I assume no one is working on a Hulu app but i found a awesome site that you can watch live tv like HBO, TBS, and so on right in the browser, here is the link.

Wow, this works very well.
Can't find crackle in the market on my droid x running gingerbread.
Any idea where I can get the apk for the free version?
There have been so many many threads and responses out there all looking for an app that will get Crackle movies playing on their G-Tab. I'm one of them. Forget Hulu. Crackle has great films and they're free with a tiny bit of commercials intermixed which is no big deal when it comes to free. Anyway, just finished watching The DaVinci Code after having watched Ghostbusters. All on my G-Tab. I loved it.
Just get Dolphin Browser, for free, from Android Market. (The Browser that came with the system is not very browserable.) Then enter http://www.crackle.com and with the assist of your WiFi, you're there and you can select and play a whole bunch of movies. They stream very nicely although the sound is so low you'll need the assist of some head gear. Unfortunately, Hulu can't be accessed this way. Why and how was crackle able to do what Hulu can't? Forget about a Crackle app, just do it the old fashioned way, with a trusty browser at the helm.
While I appreciate sherwinsilv's advice, and he's right, crackle works through the Dolphin browser, it would be nice to have access to the specially designed crackle app... Few media sites take the time to have streaming available to us Canadians, and here we have one (thanks Sony!) but Google is precluding Canadians from grabbing the app in the Market... if someone could post the most recent apk for crackle, it would be greatly appreciated...
I'd still like the .apk too.
Can nobody help a man who's down on his luck and post the apk for crackle?
Try this apk
Hi,
I found this link for the .apk in this same forum, I tried installing the apk in my Archos 101 installation was fine. I was able to open the app and see the movies and shows content. There were couple FC too. However the issue is I unable to play any of those videos as I get a DRM error.
But you guys can try and give your feed back how it goes.

I'm a new user so I can't put links in my post. Just replace "-" with "/" .

Anyone else adventurous enough to load this file on their phone?
Anyone get MLB At bat 2011 video to work on their TF yet? I installed the app but I'm only able to stream audio since the TF is not an approved device. Let me know if you've had any luck.
Are you a MLB TV subscriber? I don't have the MLB app, but I am able to log onto MLB.com with my browser and view games on my transformer by logging into my account. Video fills screen and looks very good.
I know most people don't care about this app but, I think it's BS that it's not compatible with more devices! I pay $25 a month for the service! It's not even compatible with my HTC Inspire phone either. I have to edit the build.prop file to make it work. The transformer needs to be supported. It's the perfect device for it!

Yes I am a MLB.TV subscriber. Didn't try it in the browser but I suppose that makes sense with flash installed and all. I'll do that until I get the native app working with video. Thanks!
Wait for their honeycomb app to be released. They mentioned it earlier just before the season started. Unfortunately, we might have to wait until closer to July/August before it finally gets released for honeycomb. Otherwise, just use the browser to stream the games for now if you have MLB.tv. I can't afford MLB.tv yet, so I'm eagerly waiting for the honeycomb app so I can get the condensed games.

I so use to going on the Market app that I forgot sometimes you need to go to the amazon app store to find what you are looking for. i found the Flixster app in there

I use Flixter all the time. Especially love to watch trailer and show newly released DVDs.

I have verizon as an isp. Well, I bought a movie and I can't watch it on my tablet. Verizon wants to install silverlight, but it's not compatible with this tablet. Does anyone have any input on this? THanks
What is the movie saved as? .m4v .mkv?
If you have the actual file on your device then it should open with something like BSPlayer. Bsplayer plays every file type that I know of. Free from the Google play store. If you are trying to stream from online and it is asking for a desktop windows plugin that is not available on android then I am afraid I do not know how you can play it.
Where did you buy the movie from?
You can watch movies from a number of places. The easiest is to purchase the movie from the Play Store then it will show up on your "Play Movies and . . " app. Then you can stream it over wifi or download it and watch it offline later.
Give us a bit more info and I'm sure we can figure it out.
Dice Player ftw. It has gone free, has hardware-decoding ability, nice interface and is good to battery, has gesture control.
(I like vPlayer for its gallery features, but the last time I actually used it, it didn't play as many files as Dice does -- I just browse to them with Total Commander and set Dice as the default app to open the respective file extension with -- tadaah!)
EDIT: I have lots of local files to play, so I didn't get into the streaming part others already pointed out -- I don't have enough experience with it.

Where did you get the movie? Sounds like you're trying to watch it through a web browser. My guess, you got it through some Verizon VOD service.
I bought it from the verizon site.

you have the option to either stream it, or download it. It would not let me download it because of drm problems. I'm running cleanrom 2.2. My wife has a stock tf300 tablet, not rooted, and she can play it on hers
I bought it from the verizon store,(vod). It's a drm problem. Like I said, my wife can play it on her tablet. Thanks for the input
