Nexus 4 Cases - UK

Theres nothing around!! They're just sleeves lol! :crying: Anybody know off any good cases that are out in the UK to use meanwhile. So far the options are bad, and I don't want to use a naked phone lol.

Hardly anything in the UK.
I'm waiting for the S gel cases to appear, it's bound to happen before one from China would arrive for me.
In the mean time I guess I'll just keep it in a sock/pouch type thing I have lying around.

Mobilefun are showing 3 dedicated cases , but these are NOT released yet , probably be soon though.

Luckily it's almost the exact same size as the GNex so slides nicely into my old PDair case, might get a bumper but I'd like to see one first

Better off going online to find a case. High st retailers have a bad selection of cases.

Flexishield
I need something until the official bumper turns up (damn! this phone is slippery) so I've ordered the black Flexishield from Mobilefun and will report back with my opinion.

S-Line case is very nice for the N4. Very grippy and looks good too. However, if you're buying this expecting it to prevent scratches on the back, don't. I have 3 or 4 fine scratches at the top of the rear glass after taking the phone out of the case. I'm sure it would help with shattering if it fell, but it seems to have caused a few scratches on the back :/ They're only visible at a certain angle but there are quite a few of them.
Nevertheless, they're just fine scratches and definitely nothing to cry about. I'm going to continue using the case!

I got my S line case a couple of days ago, for 99p including delivery to (and from) the UK - it was 2 days, it's rather great! Grippy, comfortable, not bulky and not scratching the phone either.

It is a ridiculous situation for a piece of injection moulded plastic that must cost less than a pound to manufacture.
I've ordered the tpu s case from eBay, should arrive Monday.

I have the Bumper on order but am getting by with an S- line case and a pouch. I'm preferring the pouch though as the S- line, although grippy, feels woefully cheap.

Ionic Guardian + Spigen screen prot.
Well we (in the UK) can pre-order the ionic guardian ... which I think I'm going to do so my phone can hopefully take a few knocks (shame about no otterbox) ... and combine it with the spigen screen protector, just can't choose between oleophobic and ultra crystal ....
Edit: I can't post links but if you chcek amazon (uk) they are on there...
Anyone got a better/more protective set up that we can get here? .... I'm guessing there'll be a new wave of people in the UK looking into cases now that we were able to order again today (I luckily managed to get in on the 1-2 weeks but aren't counting my chickens till I get a shipping email)

Just read some feedback on sellers ID and people are happy with it, Quality looks good. Also watched videos on youtube about Nillkin Matte Hard Cover and its positive so going to order for my nexus4 which i will get 1-2 weeks.

This is pretty ridiculous now...I ordered a bumper on 13th November!! Over 3 weeks later and it's still pending...Google Play support phone operators don't have any useful information about it...has anyone here gotten one of these yet from Google UK??

nope. you may get lucky at one of those mall kiosks but i haven't found one yet in any store/kiosk anywhere in town. all my cases have been from the web.

Haven't seen any cases in stores yet. Your best bet would be to use an American eBay auction or to use a generic pouch case.

Amazon has cases available and shipping is rather quick if you the case you order is eligible for prime.

Rearth slim case is a good choice

Very good case and choice...I have the Matte Black one ...I love it...

I just ordered one from ebay from a us seller. fortunately its shipping from la so it should be here soon, this week it says, i just noticed some scratches on the back glass. How they got there.....who knows.

Galaxy S4 Cases in India

Guys using Galaxy S4 in India,
Which are the cases you are using? I have the Samsung S-View cover but I have the habit of keeping the mobile on its back and I guess that will start putting scratches on the camera glass.
So I wanted a case instead of the flip cover given by Samsung. I searched on eBay and Amazon but could not find the Otterbox cases. The only ones I could find were from Spigen. Are the Spigen ones sold by eBay original?

They are not original. But they are good enough. They are starting at rupees 500.
If you want original, visit mobilefun india website and order through that. Costs only 1500 bucks.
Both fit good, but original is slimmer and lighter.

I don't think eBay and Amazon has the original case.
Two ways can do that.
1. Buy in Samsung Official Site,It is possible to be an original one.
2.Non-original case is not bad.

[Q] my neo hybrid frame broke

I was so happy with the case it's nicest looking and sleek looking case for the S4.
The white frame I got bottom next to charging port just broke.
I emailed spigen hopefully they will replace it for me I asked if they could replace it with champagne gold color as I am not happy that after 1 month this thing just broke.
Did anyone else have same issue with the case? also I bought invisible shield HD didn't yet apply will it work good with the case? thanks guys.

I have the same problem I liked the case but can not see myself ordering anything else from them as a result. I emailed them and am waiting to see if they will ship a replacement. Also have the HD shield and it looks great.

I ordered mine from their amazon store and they wouldn't replace it a few months back. I love the case just don't expect much from returns unless you bought directly from their website.

If true, for SGP not to honor the warranty, if the case is:

I've heard about this SPG policy re: Amazon before.
Didn't know if it was 100% true.
I've dealt with Amazon for quite a while, and this SPG policy is the first, if not the only time I've heard of an OEM not honoring a warranty when they themselves are selling their products on Amazon.
I had purchased the Hybrid from Amazon and returned it 2 days later because even though the styling and look of the case was nice and aesthetically pleasing, the neoprene stretched out near the stock battery and the case itself was as flimsy as I've ever seen in any case I've owned.
The return fell under the 30 day Amazon Return Policy, so I didn't have to deal with the non warranty policy from SPG.

frame
I had 2 of them that broke. I just ordered a new one from Amazon and I will return the broken one. Their support wont respond to your emails. I have a friend that has a newer neo and it looks like they fixed the area around the charger so it wont break as easy.

Have mine since 2 months.i always take the case off with the frame on it,anyway i only take it off if i really need to,maybe 7 times in this 2 months

My frame broke this week at thr Power supply.
But i Dont bought it from amazon. Think its the best to buy a new one but not from spigen.

Yep mine broke too. I put used super glue to put it back together and stopped trying to force non-OEM chargers to it. Eventually I just gave up and went with a slimmer cheap case I got from ebay that has a kick stand....couldn't be happier (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Green-TPU-Gel-Matte-Transparent-Stand-Case-Cover-Samsung-Galaxy-S4-SIV-i9500-/111210221089?pt=US_Cell_Phone_PDA_Cases&hash=item19e4a54e21).

Motorola X Play Case Availability

Has anyone else has trouble buying a case? I've found multiple sellers on both Amazon and eBay, but they all have the same problem. The shipping for the case is delayed by about 2 weeks+. Most of the delivery estimates tell me it will deliver to me by September 16- October 4. Kind of bummed about this since I just bought my phone yesterday, and would like to use it with a case.
For reference I live in Canada, but when I try to find a case for almost any other phone you can get it fast. I know the phone hasn't been out very long, but it's already been a few weeks, if I'm not mistaken.

I think it depends on how well the phone had been leaked / shown previous to launch.
I don't think many were expecting a x play so perhaps they didn't show it to case companies.
Annoying.
I have a case and screen protector on order and won't be using until I get them.

I know the feeling! I was actually considering the Cruzerlite bugdroid case until I saw the crazy delivery times.
I ended up going with the Motorola flip cover for now. $40 at Bell, $45 everywhere else

For anyone wondering I got a sleo slimline case which came really quick from Amazon.
Decent slimline case for the few quid I paid for it.
I tend to change my cases regularly so cheap and cheerful is OK for me.

Reallly frustratingly i got my amazon order cancelled by i-BlasonEU due to 'stock issues' on the day my case was supposed to be dispatched!!! I went for the Supcase Unicorn Beetle in Black/Black http://www.amazon.co.uk/SUPCASE-Uni...w_p_img_2?ie=UTF8&refRID=0EXFJ2YRVVF5WRKZE2AQ . Even more frustrating is the fact that the frost/black version is available for prime AND cheaper!

Very nice

When I bought it at the end of August, there was no OtterBox case available. It was important for me to have some kind of protection because I dropped my last phone often. Instead of the OtterBox, I got a slim silicon case and a screen protector, which protect against impact.

Have you tried Telus or Koodo? at my Friends telus they had a case for our phone.

Both Telus and Koodo have cases. The screen protectors are $15 (for the 2 pack no warranty), $35 for the single with warranty. I forgot how much the cases were, but they did have the one where you replace the back cover with the flip one (with the credit card slot on it).
But when I spoke to someone at Koodo, they said that the colored backs were online only. At least that's what the Moto rep told him.

Bell has the flip cover with the card slot for $40 (Telus & Koodo charge $45). They also have a little gel case for $20 but I wouldn't get it (buttons are way too hard to press)

For those wondering what the official flip cover looks like, here's the Teal version. The pattern is the same as the standard back cover, but feels more "grippy."

Cruzerlite Bugdroid
The cruzerlite cover its perfect for this moto... I bought for the moto G 2013 before.

I just receive my Incipio Octane case and I'm 100% happy. Nice look and good grip. It feel like the Urban Armor case I had for my Samsung Galaxy phone.

Looks good. Where did u get it from? It's very hard to find a good case for moto play. I am using a transparent one gives a good grip and also compliments the back look of the device
