Planning on getting a nexus 4 when google stocks them -.- .. But was wondering whats the battery life like for those who have one .. Does it get you through a full day ?
Hey I have had my nexus 4 a day and the battery life has been shocking so far. However I have heard that it does get better over time mate. So I'm being patient for now. Absolutely love everything else about it though !!!

Yeah you'll think it's shopped or something but I recently bought A spare 3500mah battery from ebay and this damn thing charged itself once I popped it in.

Ur using cm7, the battery drivers are all ****ed up. It just slowly noticed you had a full battery, best i can explain, because im guessing you just took out the dead battery. This is another reason i been on weapon g2x. No bugs like this.

You could be right, im on EB 2.3.5. Its mixed with CM7
I am on Prometheus ROM with stock kernel. The battery drain is insane and it only happens when Wi-Fi is unable to turn off and gets stuck, any suggestions?

The only thing I have installed that relates to battery saving and wifi is wifi static which forces a static IP

This can cause your problem. Wifi is trying to connect but can not by strange reason. I have this with different roms an kernels combinations. No cure till now.

my battery dont last much with this same rom u using,
i flashed latest cm7 nightly 2day and its been insamely stable and battery being ok so far... the only problem is that here at work my carrier signal sucks so it drains more battery
Why is it that alot of apps I'm looking for aren't compatible with the nexus? Like reddedit is fun and wallbase? Is it time for an upgrade just to keep up to date with market apps? Haha

Reddit works for me.
Did you change your LCD Density(DPI)?
Could be two reasons: You are using a dpi other than 240. Clear the PlayStore data and set it back to 240. Or flash a stock rom.
Or you are using gingerbread and trying to install ICS+ only app.

It would in definitely be worth it in a work environment where you don't have quick access to an outlet such as a construction job like I have myself. I upgraded to Android 84.3.8 Top Sirloin. (they ran out of sweets and started using cuts of meat). It's really slow on my Nexus 5 and thinking of downgrading back to 4.4.2 after my phone lag caused the Google autonomous vehicle app to crash my car. I am not even sure how it synced to my 1996 Honda Civic, but my car only went straight till it hit a skateboarder then a parked Ford Ranger extended cab. What were we talking about again?
