Have a quick question...
I have an SE Xperia X10i and have Cyanogenmod 7.2 running on it. It is currently locked to Orange (UK) and I want to unlock it so I can use a different network. I took it to an unlocking shop and they said that their unlocking software wouldn't work with it because it has a custom rom.
My question is, if I was to buy an official unlocking code from Orange and entered that - would it successfully unlock the handset. I can understand why the software wouldn't work with the custom rom but surely the code will work!?

Hello, everybody! I have a question related to Xperia M2 (D2303). I just bought it from Romania and my bootloader status is "No". Is there any way to unlock it? Considering that the phone is carrier locked, if I debrand it, the booloader could be unlocked? Thanks in advance, I posted here because I could'nt find any relevant answer to my problem.

Would this tutorial be helpful in SIM unlocking a Nokia Lumia 521 with WP8? I was just thinking that maybe you can help me on it. I did checked the bootloader just as like you told me and it is a QUALCOMM MSM DEVICE so i just wanted to ask whether i will be able to install a ROM on it? I am a noob BTW .
So if possible can you help me on it?

want to install xap files on nokia lumia 710
I have an unlocked lumia 710 phone(meaning the phone is not locked to any carrier). After performing the steps in your tutorial will i be asked for and activation code??. It's my Dad's phone, the the power button and camera button don't work anymore. I need to make the hardware key on front to unlock the screen, so i need to install touchwake.xap on it. So i figured i need to use the bootload the phone?? Am I right??
