Is there a better one?

that link you provided is a fake memory card, only buy directly from amazon to guaranteed a genuine one, amazon marketplace sell 99% fakes so be careful.

Only buy from reputable sellers like amazon, there are too many fake memory cards from china, they look like the real thing but they are fakes. I only buy sandisk and Samsung brand sdcards from amazon. So far, no problems whatsoever.

Bought this card fo0r my N8020. Good read sped but only 5-6 MB/s in writing.

5-6 MBS ??? Then there must be something wrong with your card

HTC G2 / Vision 32gb Micro SD Card **CHEAP**

I have shopped around for these and Ebay seems to be the best. Here is the one that I got. Very good price. $14.50 with free shipping. Sure beats paying over $80
How reliable will that card be at that price point? I have purchased many items from Ebay, and memory cards being one of them. I have never had a problem out of mine, but at that price it almost seems to good to be true. I am looking forward to an update.
I heard that some of them aren't actually a 32gb, I heard that they are actually less than that.

Yep, that's correct! Lots of BS USB drives and SD cards that are just 2 and 4 GB but the firmware is bogus.
I had bought one a few months ago and it worked great. And was a true 32 gigger. Then...... I got a phone Call while I was uploading mp3's and without thinking I just unplugged the USB cable. Well that's not good to do. Always properly unmount. Thats why i just ordered another one. I will keep you guys posted on how this one works. Should be here any day now.

Never buy flash on eBay. I bought a 32GB SDHC a few months ago, one of hundreds of similar ones being sold by multiple other sellers. On the computer it showed as 32GB, formatted correctly, and everything. But it was not even 1GB in truth.
There is a price it costs to produce even the worst 32GB cost, and that cost is much higher than 15$.
For a MicroSD, the best right now is the Wintec 16GB Class 10 one at 30$.

That ebay listing doesn't even say what class it is. Really sketchy. Legit 32gb microsd cards go for around $100 I thought.

Google search for a program called h2testw.exe for USB stick drives and test it when it arrives. The firmware is bogus on the fakes....

I'm not quite sure how that video proves that the SD card I just bought is a fake. What's your point exactly?
IMHO, I think it's strictly a reference to the price..........legit sellers can't come even close to it plus offer free or low shipping as well. Best way to check is to download and run the proggy I listed above. Anywho, I seen this scam playout on many USB thumb drives, would be good to confirm a cheap legit seller!

most likely, if you found a 32gb class 10, it's a fake.
google sosfakeflash and h2testw
make sure to test it properly with that h2testw. Simply connecting it to your computer / phone and formatting it will not tell you the true capacity, since it has been reprogrammed to lie about its true capacity... You have to see how much actual data you can write to it and still recover.
Well what happen with this? Was it a fake? Test?

I would be cautious. There are legit sellers, but try to do as much research and read reviews/comments if any.
Ive gotten some pretty dirt cheap deals and they indeed were legit, so its kinda a hit and miss sometimes.
Goodluck tho.

What he is trying to say (although somewhat unclearly) is that counterfeit SD cards often have markings that are not quite correct. If you Google around there are articles or forum posts with photos of fake SD cards versus the real ones.
Of course, there are good fakes that get the markings right. So the only way to know for sure is to test for both capacity and write speed, as others already mentioned.

Yeah, have the cheap class 2 rated memory cards that probably don't even work as fast as class 2, or won't last all too long.
If you're in the States, Canada, or China, check Newegg.com.

[Q] Micro SD class 10

hey guys!
i heard that the micro SD class 10 is the fastest type of sdcards you can get for the HTC sensation at the moment, but can i trust this one?

as stated in the following thread, you may not want to trust any cards on ebay.

Yep. I've purchased two 32Gb MicroSD cards, and they never arrived. EBay suspended sellers account and I have never get my money back. And they say PayPal is safe payment method.
Still, if you buy memory cards, use only top sellers. I still recommend to purchase in the well-known internet store..

Dude - did you file a complaint with paypal? did you use a credit card through paypal and call your bank to contest the charges? You have ways to not get ripped off through paypal.
Not understanding your rights will get you ripped off anywhere, online or not.
on topic - don't bother with the Class10 card. you wont see any significant gains in rw times. I have a class 6 card from Memorex that beats the speeds people are posting for class10 patriots and other top brands. Get a decent class6 from Newegg or Amazon.

[Q] SanDisk 64GB MicroSDXC - Amazon Reduced Price?

Hi
Ive had my HTC Sensation (XE Beats) for about a month now - and absolutely love it. I've dropped my iPod and now use my phone as my mobile music player (the soundstage is great, and I use PowerAMP who's EQ is just superb!)... my iPod was a 30GB Video (from 2005?) - but I'm currently using the bundled MicroSD card which is 16GB (but only 11gb of that is available to use )...
I have looked at 32gb cards, and have read all the problems about getting fakes which are more like 3.2gb. But I've seen 64gb cards are now "available". And this is more attractive seeing as I was looking to buy a 64gb iPod touch anyway.
I put available in quotes there because... well they aren't exactly readily available (from UK stockists)... and even when they are - the delivery/dispatch dates are extremely vague - like that of Amazon.
Amazon are currently selling the SanDisk 64GB Mobile Ultra SDXC card for £99.99 - a good £65 off the RRP. IMO i think this is a reasonable price for such a new technology.
But the thing is... how can they sell these cards at such a low price? When even the smaller, less known brands such as Komputerbay are selling for more/a similar price?
And why the 1-2 month dispatch estimate? Only until a few weeks back the listing was 'Out of stock'....
How legit do you think this is? There are no reviews so I can't tell if you'd even get a card.... let alone how long you'd have to wait.
(Side note... it'd be great if you could post links to other stockists selling these hi-capacity cards!)

That's odd, the sandisk works just fine in mine.
As low as $62 on Amazon right now. I got mine for $53. You gotta watch for price breaks.

$53 is a darn good price. I got a SanDisk 64GB Mobile Ultra MicroSDXC on a best buy daily deal for $49 about a month ago. Doesn't look like they even carry it now on their site, but Amazon has it for $82.
I bought one of the eBay 16.99 ones. We'll see what and if I get something.

Better check the the actual size of that card. On SD cards it is possible to fake the card so it reports a larger size than the card actually is.
You might look at this URL http://flashchiptech.wordpress.com/...ownload-to-check-flash-drives-and-memory-car/
Also it is best to format SD cards with a dedicated formatter. I like SDformatter
Also a good test program is H2testw See this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=730285

Are you letting it do the default ('exFAT") format in Windows/7? You don't want that, although it works with the Samsung ROM, it won't work with Cyanomod unless you format it as "FAT32" instead. You can use the command-line switches or there's a "FAT32 Gui" program somewhere around here - I can't seem to put my fingers on the link right now, but I found it within the past few days. If you can, use the phone to format it instead of a PC, that always insures FAT32. ("exFAT" isn't supported by CYM because of the funky licensing Microsoft has for exFAT)
Aside from card size, doesnt card speed play a factor in whether these 64gb cards will work? Isnt the appropriate question "what is the best deal on a 64gb class 10 SD card that actually works"?
