[REVIEW] Prozkin Black & Smoke Grey Clear TPU Case $6.50 Shipped

My First Impressions:
-DOES NOT ADD BULK TO THE PHONE.
-Fits snug around phone.
-Adds a nice firm grip to the device.
-Perfect cut-outs for all ports
-There are no cut-outs for the POWER & VOLUME ROCKERS, but the material still has the springy feeling so you don't have to press hard.
-Nice black glossy design going around the case, with a smoke grey clear back to show off GALAXY S BRANDING.
-Easy to put on & take off.
**MOST IMPORTANTLY**
The lip on the case adds a gap between the screen and surfaces just in case you drop the device face down it will prevent scratches or possibly cracking.
I will definitely be ordering the Clear Back. There are also Red & Blue Backing Available.
I like this case. Being as though it is my first choice I am not disappointed with the material or fit of it. Also i received my case in 4 days. Nice packaging and shipping method.

Just checked the tracking. My case is home. I will take some pics with and without the phone inside of it. If it first well with the perfect cut outs I will be ordering another one but with a clear back.

Case is still holding up. Couple light scratches on it but nothing serious. My phone is still in mint condition so it is doing its job.

Just had mine delivered today. I miss the feel of the back of the Blaze, but that will happen with any case. Slipped it on and it looks and feels great. Thanks for the recommendation.

No problem. I'm so use to how the case feels that when I removed it to do a batt pull the blaze felt a little lighter than usual. I love the feel the the battery cover.

So my case came in, and I foolishly believed the back part was white, when infact was transparent lol. So I kept the phone paper that came in the cover, cut the holes accordingly, then drew my customization on the white back part. The results are attached.
The cover has a good fit, but I've seen better. The feel quality is not cheap, but I've felt better covers.

I might have to try something like this. I bought a case off Amazon that is sort of a two parter. Internal plastic shell with a rubbery outer covering. Solid case but it tripled the width on this bad boy.

I love the protection my case offers but the added bulk is driving me nuts! I couldn't take it anymore so I ordered this case. While I'm waiting for delivery I'm temporarily putting my phone in the rubber skin case I bought for it similar to the one that came with my HD2 a couple years ago.
Everyone here seems to like this case and it's at an excellent price point.

Got my case today and I love it so far! It's the perfect blend between the rubbery skins and the plastic hard cases. Very little bulk added and they did an excellent job of cutting the holes for access to all of the ports.
They did a good job of making the usb port plenty large enough. On the rubbery skin I was using they cut the hole a little too small. It was big enough for the silver part to fit but not large enough for the black part so it would keep falling out.
The one minor complaint I have is that, while they are "springy" as previously described, the power and volume rockers aren't raised enough on the sides of the phone. They need to stick out a little bit further to they can be found and pressed easier by touch IMHO.
Overall I would give it an A-

Yup I was in the same predicament and I went with the case-mate barely there. I love the case. I went white on white. I don't need super protection but just want to protect from scratches and getting dirty.

i just noticed that incipio one covers more edges. so i think i am more leaning toward this...

Good to see they finally got them out, but im not sure if I would pick it up our not. When I had my SGS II I loved my NGP that I had on it, right now im rocking the diztronic tpu which is almost the same exact setup as the NGP.

From the pictures on the site, the feather looks exactly the same except the bottom part looks like it wraps around a bit further and the top has an extra piece that covers the middle section between the headphone jack and the power button.

Just ordered a feather. Will report back when I get it.

Just got my feather in and I can tell you that there is a reason they don't show you what it looks like directly from the front. The case is much thicker than they would lead you to believe and is pretty damn ugly when it's on. I will never use this case.

It is almost flush with the camera lens, MAYBE a little bit thicker. If you lay the phone down on its back it definitely does keep the camera lens off the table, there is like a .5mm gap that I can see through. So yes, but not by much.

Can you post some pics??????????

Got mine today. A bit pricy imo, I try to not spend more than $10 on a case. Keeps the thin profile and the material actually makes the phone easier to grip. I like the fact that the front portion is flushed with the phone(not good for ppl who like putting their phones face down). Probably gonna be switching between this case and the Amzer case. Really liking it.

Edit: Just purchased the Black Feather for my white HOX

I bought the Incipio feather in gray for my white HOX and I like the grippy/rubbery feel to the back. It's not my favorite case but I can definitely see me rocking it from time to time.

They don't have a white case and I couldn't decide between buying the gray or the black for my white HOX. Finally settled on getting the gray one (I figured it didn't really matter since I'm planning on having a few cases sitting around to swap as my mood changes).

I've never been a huge fan of any soft plastc/silicone since they are huge dust and hair magnets. I have a jack russell and this thing loves to attract hair and pet dander.

My GS3 feels instantly more premium!

Not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but I put a 3rd party battery cover on my phone and it makes it feel so much more...solid, I guess you could say. I would definitely recommend this battery cover! It's a little thicker than the original cover because of the leather insert, it's got more weight, too. Put it on my phone and instantly felt nicer in my hand.

Just curious, but you must not use a case? I really want one but I really need a case for protection too. On the fence.

I use the spigen modello case, a very slim, flexibleTPU case. Once I put this on, the case still fits but is more snug. Probably depends on what case you have.
I don't plan on using a case when I have this cover on, though.

Heard these types of cover blocks nfc? Was thinking of getting one like with a red metallic feel but reviews show a slight decrease and signal and nfc completely blocked?

Can't confirm that, I don't have anything to try nfc on. I have heard that the stainless steel-like ones do, not sure about this one. This one is plastic with a leather insert (probably fake leather) so I would guess nfc should work. Again, can't confirm

Yeah i guess i jumped on it too. I bought the pebble blue with red crocodile. I'd rather use this than have a big stupid black rubber snap-on making my phone look ugly.

The metal backed cases do effect NFC, but more importantly, they kill wi-fi and signal strength. Once I figured that out I threw mine away.

I have a nice translucent TPU case I got from amazon. Makes the phone feel so gooood lol and you can still see all of the GS3 logos. I also own a white otterbox commuter case (I own the white phone) and enjoy the extra protection - - but dislike the added bulk and generic look to the backing.

I've seen a lot of cases that are " clear" , but I'm looking for one that's transparent, not frosted or smoked or anything along those lines. Also not a case that's only half clear... I want to show off the awesome back on this phone.

There are none. It's been said because the clear always discolor over time. Discolor meaning "yellow". That's why the frost or smoked versions. The closest thing you have is the Poetic Atmosphere coming out the end of this month.
But my recommendation is to get a screen cover for the back and front and get a bumper. I did it and was quite happy with it, however, after installing the OEM bumper, the phone didn't fit in any of my generic cases and I am real hesitant in just putting it in my pocket.

Even if you were to find one that is completely clear, you won't be able to see the glistening on the back. I have a case that's completely clear on half of it and you can't see the dots.

I ordered one, for 6 bucks and free shipping it was worth it for me when I only use a case a handful of times a year. I actually canceled my 30 dollar nexus 4 bumper order after seeing this cheap one. It doesn't need to be pretty for me, just functional the few time I'll put it on.

the screen guard at the back would already make it lessen some glitter.. so better decide your self whether you want to save ur phone or show it off... get a bumper with a military shield i would suggest if u want to show it off

Don't buy the crystal clear case.
1. Its plastic, very, very cheap feeling
2. It doesn't protect the bottom and top

Got the lime green one today, think it absolutely rocks, all I will say is the lime green seems to give the camera a green tint, now I have only seen it once and not sure if it was the lighting conditions, but it is something to think about.

hated this case. Haven't used it once.

The suction effect is disappointing to me. Otherwise a very nice case.

Would you mind posting pictures on how the phone looks with red Cruzerlite on? Have you seen or tried out the new design (andy-circuit-case) for the Nexus 4? And does the suction effect wear off at some point? Or is it just really blatantly obvious with only certain colors? Sorry for asking so many questions but I'm really curious lol.

I don't think the suction effect wears off because the back of the phone is glass ..the lighter the color the more obvious it is. I was thinking maybe the old baby powder trick might get rid of that ..gonna try it later on
The colors you see on the video are the only ones I actually have.

Just got the new CruzerLite cases for the nexus 4 and they look incredible and fit snug and perfect holes for all buttons. Attaching pictures of them. They have a nice lip on the top so you can place phone upside down w no worries of touching glass. Definitely with the $12.90 price each.

Got the bugified case today, fits great! I got the clear one, although it looks gray on the website. Very happy with my purchase, it took only 3 days to get here, out of the regular estimated delivary of 5-7 days. Here's a pic of the back.

What are you talking about? Those volume and power buttons are nicely tucked inside the case openings with a lip around them just like the lip all around the top to protect the front glass.

I have the androidified case on my N4 as well, i love the look of it and the price at $13 was nice. I generally have no gripes about the case, however I need more protection and this is just merely a stopgap until a seidio active case/holster combo is available

"tucked in" does not equal "protected", not to mention the additional large openings provide that many more areas for dust and minute debris to enter the case (and yes, I've had this happen to me so I know it can happen). But back to the buttons themselves, as an example, take the Poetic Atmosphere case. While I will say that one does not provide the moderate shock/breakage protection that classic TPU case does, it does fully cover the buttons, and even more importantly, it goes a long way toward making the buttons easier to find and to press (which on the N4 is very helpful). Either way, none of these cases provide the grip, protection, overall feel of the Seidio Active case, not even a contest in those areas. Over the last few years I've found that this case provides maximum protection, without the over-the-top bulk of, for example, the Otterbox.
