i tried it on tipo (single) and it works like a charm....awesome work brother... i think it also work on dual(not tested)
but installation is little bit different ...i mean instead of sys folder you need to put files in system folder
before installing make sure you backup files of previous keyboard( in the situation you don't like it or it does not work)...i am sure that you surly gonna like it and it works 100%
put apk in to system/app
lib file to system/lib
usr files to system/usr/xt9
give correct permission rw r r

Working on deodexed xperia j JB rom, but it has small bugs that is the click sound doesnt work

Finally a working one! I was searching this many hours, I have a tipo dual, I used CM10 for tipo and used the gsm fix for 1 sim, but I had the qwerty keyboard and all that, I only like this keyboard:

I searched a lot, tried to install 2 zip's of this xperia S keyboard and got error 0 . this one worked perfect on my tipo dual and it's usable! Thanks you saved me !

I have been using Tipo Dual and searched many threads for a SystemUI.apk mod with the ICS or JB look and SystemUIPreferences. But all I was able to find was for Tipo Single and Miro. Modders pls help Tipo Dual users. I hv attached the apk. Someone please do a mod like ICS or JB and post it. Thanks in advance.

I have tried to port it on tipo dual, but due to alot of diff between 2 systemui's i was not always sure wich smali code was for the mod or different by default. There is anywhere only the code for the mod to try it again?
ps: i have edit the xmls, adding values one by one, so i will like to finish it at last..

MOD wit Icons
Well.. I just played with a few png icons and modified d SystemUI.apk.. I dunno coding stuff.. So I dunno how to add toggles.. I have attached the screen shots.. If some dual users are interested.. I will upload the apk.. Will be great if someone continues the mod..

Here you go..! This is my First MOD.. So pls bear with the mistakes I have done and give me suggestions to improve..
Do it at your own risk and dont blame me in case you bricked your phone. But it works 100% fine in My Rooted Tipo Dual.
1. Your Tipo Dual(not for Tipo Single) must be rooted.
2. Using Root Explorer Go to system/app/ and rename original SystemUI.apk to SystemUI.apk.bak.
3. Download the attached apk file and move it to the system/app/ folder.
4. Set permissions to rw-r--r--.
5. Reboot and you will get the modded SystemUI as in the screenshots in the previous post.
ImpNote: Do not rename or delete SystemUI.odex.
If anything goes wrong your phone will be booted without the status bar. Dont panic. Now just restore the original SystemUI.apk which you had backed up earlier.
My Device: Xperia Tipo Dual
Stock ROM.
Rooted.
Bootloader Locked.
ICS 4.04.
Build Number: 11.0.A.1.8

You can find Original SystemUI.apk in the first post of this thread. I have cant attach SystemUI.odex as it is not a supported format..
Btw is my mod not working..?

I have renamed .odex as .txt
Download it and rename it as .odex
And place it in system/app
Try it.! All the best..!

I already mentioned bro.. I am very bad in coding stuff.. Need someone to work on that.. I am using Notification Toggle( a free app from Google Play).. As of now.. Some experts hv to take the initiative of including toggles..

Yeah, i change my systemui with yours then reboot but status bar didnt showed.. I didnt do anything with systemui.odex

So how can i install them? I tried getting apk's from stock rom and pushing to system>app didnt work. Any ideas?

not all roms are compatible with every stock apk. i had xenonHD rom and tried to install the touchwiz keyboard and it didnt work.

cm and stock are of differnt bases
I keep trying to replace my lock screen like the XPERIA z and I can not change I move to system / app file downloading uxp it does not change I change the permissions to rw-rr 644
And reboot and it does not change what I can do

Well I myself can make a white settings for Xperia C but the problem is that my phone is not rooted.
So if someone can share settings.apk from his rooted Xperia C then I can make one and share with all of you.

The settings apk is odexed from Sony itself.

My internet is too poor to download tools to deodex odex apk.
EDIT: I also need deodexed framework-res.apk to decompile/recompile settings.apk

here i am sharing deodexed setting apk but the question is that how to push that deodex apk in odex rom
i have complete deodex apks of xperia c with fremwork but not getting success in pushing in phone due to lack of CMW or TWRP
its fusked up
sorry to say but due to not getting success in the same i have deleted all the data and so on i dont have fremwork.apk

You can push file in /system using root explorer on your device.
You can also push files using adb push command on pc or mac.

Is your rom deodexed?? If not then first deodex your rom otherwise you'll stuck at bootlogo, i.e. Bootloop

there is now way to deodex even if we do have all apk and fremwork files there is no way to push it in system.

Note : If there is a SystemUI.odex file of previous system UI delet it and replace this system UI with the one in System / app folder and give correct permissions!!!

2)Then move it to system/app folder (using any root permission giving root manager I use Root Browser)
3)Replace old system UI with the one u downloaded!!
4)Delete Systemui.odex file (if there)
5)After replacing give Root permission as follows
(rw-r--r--)
6) Reboot!!!
Now u hv a new system UI!!!!
