It's been over a year since I've published any of my work. I'm trying to get back into theming but we'll see if time permits. What I've done is taken motomoto00 theme(with permission) and added over 200 of my own png's. I'll more likely be using his theme as a base for mine. Hope you enjoy it, thanks.

I'm using JB and VillainTheme System 0.4.1 & Kinda Crap Mods 2.6. With that said, you should be able to flash these on any ROM build. Let me know if you have any questions or problems. Thanks for checking it out.

Known Bugs or issues
**01-18-13-Upon Nandroid, I tried reflashing my ZIP and it bootlooped each time. I ended up flashing Synergy ROM over without wiping and that did the trick. I was able to flash the zip with no problems. I hope this helps someone.
What I plan on theming next:
Making drop-down PNG's trans. Specifically notification background. I CAN'T SEEM TO MAKE IT TRANS. IT'S A DAMN TRANS PNG. WHY WON'T IT BE TRANS..AHHH!! STUPID PNG, lol. Any help on this would be great.

No problem. I don't like TWRP, it had more features but things got screwy too often. Been with this theme all day and was even able to flash kindacrapmods over it for my status bar. theme is working great and looks fantastic.:highfive:

Thanks. There's a lot that needs to be corrected and modified. For one, the png press when you're selecting xda topics. It's sloppy, I'll try to modify that soon. I'm trying to swap out the png drop down but having a hard time finding the xml in SystemUI.apk. After those items get modified, I'll start working on a lot more.

TWRP works flawlessly. If any VRTheme won't flash with TWRP it because the dev is using old version of zipalign. On any VRTheme swap new zipalign in VRTheme folders in zip and it will flash with any recovery. No need to change recoveries.

Yes if you flash kindacrap first you get status bar icons from theme but retain transparencies. If you flash theme first you get complete Kinda status bar and dropdown mods.
I wouldn't put the blame on Devs in my case, it was more than likely my own fault. Anyways I find the best way to learn is thru trial and error. Just make sure the error won't destroy your device. Factory data reset can be your best friend...

Seems to be working well on Beans V5 which I was hoping for since they run the same base. Many thanks! Love the theming.
Edit: I did notice one minor thing. The modified framework-res.apk of this theme caused me to lose the hacked native mobile tethering. I'm not sure if this is the case for Synergy but just a thought in case you did not include that fix. No biggie for me though.

My understanding is that you need to mess with the systemui.apk file. Personally, I try not to mess with system files.

This is my third theme for the GS3. This was tested and based on CleanROM 2.5. If you try it on any other ROM based on the G7 modems, let me know. If you do try it and it borks your phone, though, I'm not responsible. And in general, I'm not responsible for anything that you do to your device. The app icons that you see are from a paid Apex theme in the PlayStore. Just search for Black Go Apex Theme Pro. I'll be making some of my own eventually.

I'm working on it. There's multiple issues with the theme overall that's ticking me off. I'll figure it out. I might see if I can make it an aroma installed theme to get it to work correctly.

I sent you a PM on fixing the battery icon issue, let me know if you didnt get it, it acted funny when I sent the pm so not sure if it went through.
Updated theme is up in post 2. Includes the battery again. THANK YOU, rcw95 for helping me fix that crap. Stupid/tired error/computer hates me.
Also, there is an odex version and a deodex version. Try the odex version first. If that doesn't work, then try the deodex version. Make sure you have a back up before you do either so you have something to fall back on. If they don't work, I'll fix it eventually when I can figure out why it's not working correctly.

Ok, new release is up. This one was completely rebuilt by thisiskindacrap in order to fix the crashing issues. This should be good now. If it's not, I'll keep trying. Make sure you have a backup before you flash. If you ever wanted to donate to me for any of my themes, make sure you donate to thisiskindacrap or rcw95 first. Those guys have helped me a bunch. Please let me know if this new release fixes the issues that some were having.

Make sure you download the correct version for your rom! This is a collection of my themes that will work on ICS and Jelly Bean Touchwiz roms for the VZW GS3. This uses the Aroma installer and VRtheme engine in order to make all of the themes compatible for all of the available Touchwiz roms. Tested on my phone using the latest Twrp and it worked perfectly on a fresh install of the ROM. Thanks for the info though con in case anyone has issues! Might have to switch to cwm touch for a while

Well then disregard my statement about that then. There is a good chance the issue was fixed in later versions of TWRP or the theme engine.
Hit me up if you want some help checking if the user has lidroid toggles included in their ROM before any lidroid-dependent parts are applied.

Yeah it has been fixed I have been playing around with the vrtheme on mine tonight. I had this exact same idea when I was work today about doing an aroma installer with my different theme colors all included in one download. Im hoping with using the vrtheme I can make one version of my themes for all twbased roms, instead of differnt ones per rom. It worked on my rezound so hope it will on this phone.
Theme set number one, including Blue Steel, Black Pearl, and Red October are up. If you are coming from one of my other themes, this will work best on a clean rom install. I had issues where my status bar disappeared when I installed it over my theme. If you install it and it doesn't work, chances are that you'll need to have a fresh install of the rom. Nope. Wallpaper is separate. They'll be in the third post of this thread when I make more. For now you can go to the original theme thread and find it. They're all locked, but you can still download the walls.

Theme looks good so far, however I would wipe your data before flashing it, as it boot looped me the first time but after a wipe and reflashing the deodexed rom, then tb's tmods, and then this with reboots in between it worked well.

And if you want to make it seem like you have jellybean with this theme you could edit the build.prop version to 4.2.1 I believe that's the newest version of android.

so i finally flash the jelly bean theme and you did a great job! many apks are themed. your latest beta is the only one so far.
couple buggy things are the scroll highlight might give seizures
and the size of the keyboard, is it suppose to be small like that?

I think I know what causes the highlight when scrolling ill look at it today and see
The keyboard isn't supposed to be that small ill replace it with a better one in my next update
I haven't looked ur files yet but when that happened on my theme it was in colors.xml, the black=was changed to ics blue so any apk that called on android=black, it was blue.
Keyboard is usable don't get me wrong

I loved this theme only problem was it would sometimes lock up in the messaging screen. Also it would not ring and was very buggy when receiving phone calls. I am sorry I do not have a log to share, I'll work on trying to figure out how to get error logs. I really liked the theme though.

The theme seems to work fine, just very slow and laggy. I have not had any FC yet though and that is a good thing. I now have Groove IP on the phone and have it as a wifi backup.

It was pretty quick prior to install after install of theme it was not responding as fast. I did not do any addition debloat except to install eg04 deo.zip that is what was running prior theme.

Do you ha e tbs mods flashed on top? When I used this on my continuum it wasn't laggy and seemed to be very responsive. When I was running it I had the deflated and deo eg04 rom, then the mods for eg04 and then this flashed on top. Also upon install I wiped dalvic cache. Not sure if any of that may make a difference but it's worth a shot. You could also try wiping data in cwm and see if that helps.

Well I just got kalisjr and my build finished of this as well.
Uploading to the server now
Not to be rude. I'm truly impressed by the amount of work that this group has done to get this ROM up.
But unless you plan on actively supporting this ROM,keeping it update, adding new mods etc. I would suggest handing the reigns back over to kalisjr.
Also do you have permission from the original rom creator to post "your" version of the port.
None the less great job. And glad we got data working

Sorry man... From what I understand the Kuban Updater was fixed in the 1.3 update... You access it from the app... But the themes break the mms fix... thanks again by the way... im trying to fix them and post and updated themes zip with the fix... :good:

Your not being rude man its all good... I do plan on updating and keeping up with things but its not a big deal to me on who has the reigns... i just like seeing other rom options for everyone... I talked to dazed and he said it was fine that it was ported over just to give proper credit...

Anyone else having issues with the mod app thing? I tried using it but it just reboots to recovery and doesn't change anything.

you have to flash the zip that it downloads to your sd card... but if you flash things from the kuban updater it changes/adds some files that were changed when porting it over... therefor it breaks mms from working

im working on trying to figure it out... but im testing the rom now without the kuban updater app in it...
