Hi guys i have tried to install nfs mw on my i9003 but i didn't succeded i used duero patcher but it doesn't work can you explain me how can i install it on my device without doing a swap please??? My phone is rooted

need help
I too am facing the same proble.

u can use such apps like GL to SD or other such apps from market and u need to be rooted for this.but this app does not work on all the games so u can check it.and if that does not work then the only solution is to swap the cards

use directory bind .. very easy and working on every game ..

I have already rooted my phone and i have also directory bind but i don't understand how to move nfs to exsdcard ç_ç

Move the data manually to the external sd to the same folder name as it is intended to be in the sdcard.
Then go to directory bind app.
Press menu softkey of ur phone.
Then create new directory.
In the first text area type the directory of the folder where the data is
And in second text field type the directory of the folder wherevit should actually be.
Click on add. (dont select the option to moge the data as u have done that manually.)
Then click on the floppy sign on the extreme left of the newly created directory. This will finally bind the memory.

I have another problem when i start the game and when i'm racing all the texture are black i can see only a little part of car's body can you rehelp me xD?

I never faced that issue...
Maybe your data has some trouble.
You may even try by reinstalling the game.
Note: if you are uninstalling a game and u don't want to remove its linked data then rename that folder just before uninstalling.
After reinstalling put the correct name of the folder..

[I9003] Polaris Office from Galaxy S2 working on I9003

In the world where everyone is looking up to gingerbread, I am putting Polaris Office (of Galaxy S2). It has much more features than thinkfree plus working on I9003.
Pre-requisites:
1. Your phone should be rooted
How to install:
Method 1:
1. Extract the files from compressed file
2. Copy apk from app to /system/app
3. Copy files from lib folder to /system/lib
Method 2:
1. Extract all files in a folder (i use winrar; hence extract to <folder name>)
2. Run the batch file (it will ask for su permission. Ensure to allow that)
Backup your data, i wont be responsible for any loss

It'll will FC if there are no lib files or not copied properly, try again by mounting your system directory and copy them again(using Root Explorer) or use adb to push the files.
That's working fine for me. Thanks dude.
That's cool

Surely not?!
However, If that is the only answer, an explanation would be nice as a factory reset seems a little extreme don't u think?

You probably have to go into either;
- /system/app/; or
- /data/app/directory and delete the odex file that has the same name.
Example: If you cannot install Titanium Back Up. Navigate to /data/app/ and find titanium.odex. Remove it and now you can install titanium.
Hope it help :fingers-crossed:

This might sound stupidly simple but, are you sure you just aren't low on space from music or movies, etc...?

Do factory Reset and through CWM Recovery Restore your setting and Apps from NAND Backup (if only you created one)..
ok guys - just sorted it.
i installed app2sd at some point and i think i was trying to get it to install by default to my sd card. problem is that the old tab 7.7 doesnt support installing to sd. So what was happening it was just giving me a no error message. i used Super manager 3 to default back to the device memory, rebooted and all ok now.
sorry for my stupidity. but shame on the amount of users telling me to do a factory reset - thank god i didnt listen to y'all!!

I faced the same problem with my Xperia ZR after playing with Link2SD.
Fixed it with starting the terminal and typing:

pm set-install-location 1
pm get-install-location
Resut is 1[internal], and the apps are now installing.

[Q]Folder Shortcuts (Folder1 -> Folder2)

Hi there!
Iam searching for something like this quite a long time.
I dont want Shortcuts on my homescreen, what iam searching for, is a way to create shortcuts in the folder system like we have a couple in the system root of our devices. (Cant move or copy those existing ones)
Basically i want a shortcut from sdcard to external sdcard because there are some usefull apps with a crappy explorer to search its files. Not working with shortcuts made by windows. Is it even possible?
Thanks for advises...

Create a new folder to /mnt/sdcard
Type this in terminal:
$ su
# mount -o bind /mnt/sdcard/extStorages/SdCard /mnt/sdcard/the-name-of-the-folder-you-created

Thanx a lot!!

For cm users, the path is: /mnt/emmc /mnt/sdcard/name-of-the-folder-you-created
Sent from my GT-P6200 using xda app-developers app
Oh, forgot to mention that you need to do this on every time the device has rebooted. Or do an init.d script to do it automatically on boot.
Sent from my GT-P6210
Yeah, i noticed that..
And just to be sure: After i bound the path to the folder i created and i delete it, will this path i just bound also be deleted? Or just the folder i created?
Thanx man... greetings from australia!

It will delete all the files but not the folder, just tested out of curiosity and wiped my whole SD...
So unbind it first before trying to delete the folder.
Sent from my GT-P6210
Jesus... xD.
Sounds funny but I feel sorry cause I actually could have tried this by myself.
At least, we are all warned now...
Unbind is just: mount -o unbind ...... ??
Of course, I could delete scripts and reboot, but just to be sure, u know??
I hope u had a backup...
Sent from my GT-P6200 using xda app-developers app
You need to unmount the folder you have bound your SD:
umount /path-to-the-bind-folder
I had a bit old backup, and also got many deleted files recovered with Recuva, so not a big problem

Found an app solution what is doing exatly the same: Directory Bind
Probably not in the Play store. Found it in Fireplace Market(another alternative play store for apps you will never find in the play store)
Or just google it! Have fun guys! And thanks again!

Here's a better way:
Use an app like "App Backup & Restore" from the Playstore. It will copy the apks to a folder on your SD card. You can then use a File Explorer to send those apks via Bluetooth. :good:
Try finding it in CM file manager.
I hope you find it!

All your app's installed and linked using Link2SD are saved into your second partition you created as fake internal ram. This second partition is either EXT2 or EXT3, Linux format.
