Hey guys,
I am having trouble installing Jelly Bean on my transformer. I have followed the apparently noob proog upgrade guide but run into issues. When I reboot after putting the upgrade files in the /cache directory the upgrade starts and goes for 30 seconds or so then fails and says that it failed to verify the package. Please have a look at my log file and let me know what I am going wrong here. Thanks.

Dalvik Cache wiped.
Signature failed probably means your file got corrupted while downloading. I would suggest downloading the file again and see if that solves it.
If it doesn't then plz post which thread/guide you are following (with a link for the lazy people).

I sense a load of fun with this since I have yet to have a smooth time with rooting (well it is rooted) and getting things to work and now this error. (Other devices ive rooted and had clockwork work perfectly but anything with Asus label always screams - I will be a pain to get to work!)

Sounds as though the version of cwm you are using does not match your bootloader. If you have a JB bootloader then use a JB recovery or ICS for ICS.
If that is not your issue I suggest twrp 2.4.3.0.

Same thing happened to me while I was using CWM on this tab. Not one of mismatched CWM version and ROM (ICS or JB). Can't remember exactly what the error was. Think I was stuck with "backing up system.." Switched to TWRP and solved it. There were reports of troubles using CWM on this model.
After every boot on my nexus s appears the error message: "System doeas not resond, Wait or force close?". I did full wipe more time, i tried different ROM (slimrom, cyanogenmod, bam-andorid) but the result is the same error message. The Md5 of the ROMs is correct. What can i do? I am sure that you would have done a completely clean install (Dalvik,Cache,Data) on each install, but I would recommend; flash back to stock (start on a clean slate, easier to see if/what goes wrong),wipe dalvik/cache/data, flash custom rom & reboot (don't unlock, just let it sit for a minute, reboot to recovery wipe just dalvik and cache and flash the CORRECT gapps, reboot, set up phone (see if you have any warnings) and don't mod/tweak,

I'm on Thunderzap kernel 3.0, with CWM 6.0.3.5. Whenever I try to make a backup to external sd, or try to mount ext sd card, cwm says its cant mount external sd. I have done this earlier on old ROMs. Currently on 15.3.A.0.26, (android 4.2.2). Phone is rooted, BL unlocked.
Given below is the recovery.log after trying to access "Backup to External sd" and "Mount external sd".
I think the primary reason for failure is log claiming that the filesystem on sd card is non-vfat. However, the sd card was formatted by android itself. So it must be must be fat32, and yes, it is - I mean, I didnt touch the card's partition or format it outside the phone.
Weird thing is that Gparted shown my 32 GB Sandisk Ultra (Class 10) card as Unallocated space (while it was mounted). Yet the phone mounts the card in mass storage mode and I can read/write.

This is weird, no one got a clue ?!
I guess that option is not available to our CWM yet. I couldn't mount it too , even formatted the mem card once. Just place your stuff in INTERNAL STORAGE or just SIDELOAD FROM ADB
