I have a problem with my camera I just recently flashed kingcobra1x and now when I go to use my camera it freezes not the phone but the camera itself does. Recently had viperxl Rom and the camera worked perfectly. Is this a Rom issue?

To add on to my previous post I also have tried to download other camera apps from the play store as well as the leaked 4.5 camera and it does the same thing

Did you flash a different kernel? Ie beastmode? If so you need the camera fix

I realize there is no stock rom camera on the rooted pa. Just wondering if you guys have a solution for the problem, or have an alternative app I can use as a solid camera/recorder.

Whenever I take a picture the picture isn't saved. This happens on both the sense camera and the android 4.2 one. I'm on viperxl with elemental.

Maybe the folder / directory path is corrupt, a format would help? Or change the default path if possible, assuming that there's available memory. I would also install some other camera apps from the market and check that way.

Also, use ES File Explorer to see where the images are being saved. Ran into this problem with my gf's One S.

I can find my pics in DCIM/100MEDIA but they don't appear in gallery

I think this problem isn't just with the camera apps. I think it's applications getting access to the files because I downloaded some songs and they appear in their folder but they don't appear in Poweramp or jet audio. Same thing with the camera they appear in their folder but not in gallery.

Hakta works for me, acr works, all if nocturnals stuff, and all of Carl's stuff.. can't recall anything not working that I have flashed and I've flashed every sense Rom more then once... Can't speak for cm, aokp or aosp based ..

So I wonder if it's my phone cuz viper hakta and nocturnal didn't work for me.bit I Google the problem and I see quite a few people with the same problem but no fix.

I found out it was a problemwith the maps app and the 3d visual graphics causing it to crash. What I have to do to fix it is press the compass in the navigation app to put it on 2d mode. It's the red and white compasson the upper right corner... I used my navigating for about three hours today without it crashing...

Well I'm running viper xl 4.1.0 and I flashed king beats... Elemental 8.1 and the zoe camera fix.. don't know what's happening just wish it can b fixed

In ViperXL you can also take a screenshot by holding down the power button and selecting "screen capture" from the popup menu.
