[Q] Insertcoin video playback problems

hi everyone,
i flashed my sensation with insertcoin rom and everything is fine except the video playback.There are lines on video screen during playback and playback is also not smooth.
pls help

What video player are you using? Have you tried any different players? What format are your videos in?

i have used stock player,,moboplayer,,mxvideo player,,,,,and my videos are in mp4 format

and one thing more my stock player is refusing to recognize many videos now which it played before flashing the rom

I'm using InsertCoin ROM and have no problems watching videos. I usually play 720p .mkv videos. Image is crisp clear and smooth. By the way I'm using Dice Player for videos

Everything was perfect before the rom. I mean to say these are the same videos which every player and stock player played perfectly and now it don't even recognised many of the videos

Did you make a backup of your phone before flashing the rom? Maybe restore the old backup and try your videos then to see if they play okay? If so, try flashing the rom again to see if the problem returns.

The thing is before installing 3.4.2,,,, i installed 3.4.0 and made a backup,,, then the next day i installed the latest 3.4.2 without any backup. I was having same issues with the previous one so i thought it might have been fixed but to my surprise Both roms had have playing videos similarly.

Yes i do have that,,,,,by the way i just got that flv files are playing perfectly on mxvideo player but mp4 is having problems. Let me test other formats also

Make a backup of how it is now, then restore your previous backup where everything still worked. Then see if they do actually work still. If so, then flash the rom again to see if the problem comes back.

Noozy Music Player

Now...
Noozy Music Player is a great player that looks very much like the Zune Music Player. It has pretty much the same functions as the zune player but it allows you to listen to thousands of internet stations as well. It also comes with its own sound processor that is supposed to be better than anything available on Android... developer claims it will produce HIGHER QUALITY AUDIO.
Anyways, the app was pulled from the Google Play store but you can still download it here:

The dogsbark dev is active in there and allowing the dev of Nexus Louder to use Noozxoide_EIZO-rewire_PRO in his mod, and the links are in the first post I believe.
And I have both running on Jelly Bean 4.1.2 with no issues.

Noozy works on sgs3.. on wicked rom... it fc'd and caused a random reboot... but when rebooted... it works fine. Thanks

AWESOME App!!!
I was able to download with no problem. I completely fell in love with the app the moment I installed it. There is a difference in sound quality. The only issue I have with the app is how it shuffles music in it's playlists. I may hear the same 2 or 3 songs twice in a 10 song window. Things will get better with time.

Only for noozxoide rewire pro...noozy player can use with both gb n ics...

Well (lib/audio) wise nothing. But zplayer is actually getting updated again.
Last one was the 26th I believe.. anyway nooz needs to fix the bugs. Its stopped on me at least 15 times and never shows album art.
Plenty of features, the base they used to make nooz is old.

I installed it on HTC wildfire s and Galaxy note . I found lots of sound improvement in case of wfs , but little bit difference for note .

For some reason it stops sometime wierd.

Ist it possible to play music downloaded from play music app with zoony?

anyone know if a updated noozy came out in december like said earlier in this thread?

this is a very nice player..just miss the option to edit id tags..anyway..it worked fine in my JB rom.with other version of the equalizer of course.

AC!D sound Engine (All devices ICS+)

Just wanted to share what I found exploring xda. I claim none of these mods.
A quick summary: It makes your music sound better with various mods including Team AC!D's own modifications. Check out the thread for details and how to flash it.
I've used this on Embryo 5.3, AOKP, and Slimbean. All was working fine. Follow the instructions their thread and you should be fine. I won't be say if this or another mod is better for the same reason that "which ROM is better?" threads aren't allowed. I don't know much about audio/music/mods, but I do know this will not brick a white AT&T i727 Galaxy SII Skyrocket ( For those who don't know which forum is this.) I will do my best to answer any questions, but your best bet for a relevant answer is their thread.

Thanks for sharing this thread. I just flashed it onto a "White Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket running Cyanogenmod 10" and it works plus sounds great.

We can confirm that it works on black skyrockets as well, cyanogenmod 10 latest nightly working perfectly using play music and the beats dsp mod.

If it will just play music over Bluetooth it will be a step in the right direction for me. Lately every time I've tried has resulted in an instant reboot...

Mine plays Le Musique via Bluetooth. The only thing is that it doesn't sound as good as the headphones plugged in. I use HD Motorolla stereo headset it doesn't make my phone reboot. I found a weird bug tho. When I open the WALKMAN app it stutters (it is awesome.)
My setup:
Hardware: Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket
Software: LiquidSmooth 4.1.2
Sound Engine: ACID Audio Engine V5
Music Player: Walkman
EQ:

If you flash the AC!D without any add on, you can use other equalizers or players without any problems. It might help with your Bluetooth problem. Make sure you flash on a clean install.

I'm going to reflash everything soon to try to fix this issue anyway. I removed my previous sound mod and flashed this and still got the immediate reboot.

EDIT: Hm...Reflashed everything and installed this mod with the Walkman addon pack. For some reason the Walkman player will not play at all... The play button is grayed out... Weird.

I flashed walkman player too, it seems you have to open it, click play twice, exit, go back in and it'll play.
I also get random reboots just with Walkman. Well, not exactly random, whenever the screen turns off while Walkman player is on, it'll reboot.

Works great with my Samsung SGH-i727 running CM10 stable.
Flashed the AC!D Audio Engine and the Walkman player. It's an AWESOME music mod.
I wasn't sure how to get rid of DSP Manager like the instructions said to do. There was no "uninstall" function in the app list.. only a greyed out "Disable" button. Decided not to worry about it and flashed anyway. Everything seems to be working fine.

To delete DSP manager I downloaded root browser and went to System<app<DSP manager I long pressed and click delete. That got rid of it.
AC!D is cool but I am having some problems with the Walkman player stuttering really bad on me. Cheers

Sorry to hear that. I've never had any cut offs or anything like that. Are you using any of the add-ons?

Can someone answer a question for me? I'm a bit fuzzy on the details:
Is the "walkman" a standalone music app? Like, an actual music player, or is it some sort of plug-in?
I like using PowerAmp and would like to continue using it... Wondering if this AC!D sound engine would work with that....

Im using this without walkman. Totally works. I also use audio fx from the market as an equalizer. If your using the uclk4 rom, theres a bit more you have to do.

Been using it for a bit now and I'm getting mixed feelings. Since I use power amp religiously, I did not download the Walkman player, but instead opted for their eq app. The adjustments in the eq all are pretty good and very noticeable when using he YouTube app, but hardly noticeable at all while playing music in power amp. I had all power amps eq and any sound settings turned off and still couldn't hear any discernable difference with any changes in their eq app. Very weird.

I have tried numerous music player, music apps, file explorers etc to find the music on my samsung skyrocket. I was looking at the music player on my note 10.1 and it has quite a few more options than any I've downloaded before. Problem I'm having is nothing, and I mean NOTHING, will find all my music on my phone, internal or external. Now I dont have a lot of music, maybe just like 20 ringtones or notifications and a few full length songs. I want to try my 10.1 player on my skyrocket. How can I do this? My skyrocket is running a custom jb rom (slimbean). Any ideas?

Gotcha. Wish I could do it. Oh well. Asked in the slimbean thread and of course was told to fix permissions. Doh. Same answer almost every time.

Found one! Its paid and called GoneMAD. Works yo find ALL sounds on my phone. I wont ***** about the fact that all the stock tones were found as well since it is the only app I've found that works.

The best music player for me is poweramp... have u tried that player?

It works.. u might have to go into the settings> music folders> select your music folders..
