hello, i just bought a few days ago a chinesse tablet, EQQUS m701C.
I find myself having 2 problems with it:
1) My computer doesnt recognizes it, it stays as a "unkown device" and I cant enter the storage, so I wont be able to root or flash . Tried to find its drivers but I dont find them, what could I do?
2) I was trying to root with z4root and the program froze, the tablet reseted and when I turned it on all my apps and data dissappeared. My internal storage dissappeared and show as if it had 0.00 mb.
Searching on the internet I found that it was because of "busybox", that dismounts my internal storage. Looks like when I tried to root I got a corrupted busybox. So how do I fix this? Deleting busybox? For that I need to be root and as I said in 1) I cant root it
Thanks for all

My friend bought a gemini JoyTab 8112 for his son which has now stopped working. He said he tried to do something where he swapped the sd card for the external sd card by editing a file called vold.fstab. He created no backup, though I think he saved the original file (I hope).
I've got it at the moment and it will only boot when plugged in to my computer via usb. However, it shows neither internal or external sd cards and when I go to settings/storage I get a message reading 'Unfortunately, settings has stopped' I click ok, it goes back to the prior screen.
It also won't connect to my computer as a USB device so I can't use adb or Android commander to get into it.
I can enter the recovery menu so I thought I could try and install wirelessadb.apk but I really don't know how to install an apk through boot menu. I've tried reading the forums but, tbh, it's hard to understand how to create an apk to install in the recovery menu.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I've looked all over for a solution and usually, anything I can't solve myself, I can find a solution here but this one is drawing a blank.
Fixed. Turned out it was a driver issue of Windows why the pads wouldn't connect. Switched to laptop and worked immediately.
Hello,
first of all i am Portuguese. I recently buyed a tablet yeahpad a13 pillbox 7" from tinydeal running android 4.0.4
I want that my tablet installed all the aplicattions in the external storage. I download scriptmanager and set out a script that makes that possible, but for that script works i have to root the tablet. I used z4root and maked a temporary root. After that i ativated the script. I reboot my tablet and i noticed that it erased everything. Everytime i boot it, it makes a factory reset, but still install everything to the external SD storage. I discovered that for the tablet stop doing that i have to put busybox in system/bin but i cant do that. I root it many times but it turns off and on, but when it turns on, i have no root acess but have superuser installed. I just can root with domlord exploit. I really want someone to help me cause i cant find anything in other forums (P.S.- i cant acess adb shell and i have adb drivers installed, i dont have busybox in system/xbin). Resume: i want to now how to put busybox on system/bin or how to stop it for erase the data on every boot.

I don't know if anybody already asked this question, but please bare with me.
I have this Allwiner A10 Tablet Called Imo Zone, i do not know what happened after i installed busybox, root toolbox, and many of those root apps its just doing factory reset every time i shut it down or reboting. i check storage tab its just calculating and never show result, i check on app tab my internal storage is 100% full. when i connect it to ADT i notice that it cannot/fail to mount internal system storage, but ADT can read system storage, i've manage to delete several apps but still there is no change. now i can't even install any app, go to recovery mode or download mode.
Anyone please help me.
So, here's the problem - I was just using my phone normally, when it froze - no big deal, recently it has been getting slower and I was just planning on factory resetting it after I back up everything. But, when it booted and went on the start screen, it says "Scanning USB storage for problems" or something like that and it says then "Damaged USB Storage -You may have to reformat it" and unmounts my SD card, so, I have no storage altogether. When I click on the notification it asks if I want to format USB storage. I just want to know if there's a way of retrieving some files, because in my phone FIle Manager there's nothing, and when I connect it to the PC (Windows XP), it doesn't dettect any stotage, if I do it through "USB Utilities" on my phone it shows two Removable Disks on my computer, which are empty, when I click on them it just says "insert disk into drive", and if I click "Turn on USB Storage" on my phone it just keeps on trying to connect, but can't.
I tried restarting it, taking the battery out, booting without an SD card, booting into safe mode, using adb to pull some files, searched the internet for a few hours but to no avail, found this "Tenoshare Android Data Recovery" but it needs root, which I'm not, so I tried rooting it with SuperOneClick - doesn't work, tried installing super user from the recovery menu from SD card, but it can't install it - I'm wondering if it's wortht it. So, now I don't know what to do - do I root my phone using the methods here (with odin and etc) and use that utility, do I just factory reset it (maybe try recovering files after I've reset it?), or is there any other available option to somehow recover the files? I'm on Android 4.0.4 unrooted with Baseband version I9103XXLQ3 - I had installed it a few years ago (my phone came with 2.3.6 and I just followed the instructions here on updating my firmware).
I'll be very grateful with any help, I just had a few more important files and the last time I backed up was in December, so any help is appreciated
