Rubber or Silicone Bumper - NO PLASTIC

Does it exist? I've been looking for months since the S4 came out and the only bumpers I can find have hard plastic with a tiny bit of rubber surrounding it and at the buttons. I don't want to cover the back of my phone, making it even bulkier, I just want to protect around the edges with a soft and flexible bumper.
I'd like an answer to this myself. I thought my plastic+rubber rooCase bumper would work, but the rubber starting pulling loose within a week. The knockoff bumper I had for my Nexus 4 lasted as long as I had the phone, so I know it's possible for a two material bumper to work, but I can't find one.
If I find one I'll post here.

The Poetic Borderline is working well for my Note 3 and they have one for the S4.
http://www.amazon.com/Poetic-Border...d=1387479939&sr=8-1&keywords=poetic+bumper+s4
there is a kind of silicon which is the hard type, u may consider it.. its kind of hard to describe.. its like a little rubber, a little silicon..
Found this:
http://m.ebay.com/itm/291003905024?cmd=VIDESC&gxo=true
It has a silicone type material bumper and a backing, but the back is transparent.
Here's another silicone type bumper case:
http://m.ebay.com/itm/131075924397?cmd=VIDESC
I'm not sure if you can just use the bumper without the back. You can always ask the seller.
Another bumper case with transparent back:

*This looks like what you're looking for:
http://m.dhgate.com/product/2013-newest-bumper-case-for-galaxy-s4-tpu/158514733.html#pd-105
But there's a 200 bumper minimum.
But I'm sure you can find a seller on the Web that's purchasing in quantity and selling individually
This seems to match what you need...

New Affinity case by Poetic

OK here it is . After 1 week of using the clear poetic affinity case I must say it has held up better than I thought it would. My daily case was the UAG clear case so I could show off the beautiful gold glass on the back of my phone. The poetic affinity offers very similar protection but feels much less bulky. The clear plastic is wrapped in a hard black tpu that runs around the bezel of the phone and covers a section of the back. All of the ports are easy to access however their is no opening for the noise cancelling mic at the top of the phone. ( Could just be because it is a test model ). I feel the case provides a good amount of protection and I like all of the options for design and style they offer on amazon. The buttons are easy to feel and don't stick out really far. If I were to buy one for my self I would stay away from the clear affinity only because of the fingerprints it picks up. I am way too ocd for prints all over my case. I prefer a clear textured for fingerprint prevention. All in all I would say this case provides protection and a nice look in a less bulky package than the UAG case and the Poetic Affinity is half the price. I would rate this case an 9 out of 10. I must say the case looked fantastic with a skin on my phone. I would definitely consider this a go to case if you are in the market.

@Intub8 thank you for starting this thread.. I have the case as well.. It's a nice feel in hand..and keeps the phone slim.. I personally would like the front top and bottom to cover a little more since I can see a hairline of my phone bezel but that's my OCD. And having AT&T phone the back on my phone looks too busy..

Yea AT&T and that silly death star. I know this pic is off topic and I got rid of the skin before I took a pic with the new case but I would imagine the skin would still look good.

I got a test product of this case last week and it quickly became one of my favorites! Feels really good in the hand.

I am also using the Affinity case by Poetic. Very nice case but because of its highly smooth shiny gloss construction it does show every tiny mark. I had just fitted it and cleaned it with a proper spectacle cleaning cloth and even that made minute marks on that lovely finished high gloss plastic. Superb looking and shows off very well the beauty of this magnificent mobile.

Best clear case?

Anyone with the variety of clear cases care to chime in on what they recommend? I'm leaning towards the spigen ultra hybrid. Mainly due to the name brand but curious of some others out there. I ordered a frost and want to show off the styling! I know clear cases can be iffy so wanted some opinions.

I think there are a lot of threads on cases but I also appreciate the idea that it's sometimes hard to sift through them all.
I'll sum one up for you - The Nillkin Nature TPU case seems to be very popular. You have to order it from Hong Kong on eBay. I got mine and it is GREAT with one serious flaw in my opinion. It has a plastic flap over the USB power port. It is 100% TPU and very thin, adds almost nothing to the phone. That in turn means it doesn't afford a lot of protection. It does come in a clear version. I got the grey version for my Graphite 6P and cut off the USB power port flap. This makes it slightly imperfect which bugs me a bit. USB flap aside, it's a great case.
Thanks for the info. Yeah I was hesitant start a new convo for it cause I know there are a lot of general case posts, but I thought since clear cases are a thing of their own, itd be nice to have a go to post for those of us interested in them.

I have the Spigen ultra hybrid. Solid case - doesn't feel flimsy like other clear TPU cases. The lip is slightly raised on the front so that the screen wouldn't touch the surface when face down. This case had an issue in the beginning where it looked like there was a small crack near the fingerprint sensor opening (not a crack but it looks like one). They may have fixed it since then. The only complaint i have is that the entire camera black bar is exposed with this case instead of just the area where the lens and laser focus are.
I've tried Spigen ultra hybrid and the neo hybrid ex. Case-mate is the best one. There is a convo about it in the Spigen Neo hybrid ex post.

Yeah the whole opening of the black bar I didn't like as well as the like square outline on the back. Otherwise it looked pretty nice. I ended up going with this one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0168DHS1Q/ref=cm_sw_r_other_awd_CFuGwbXHQ21PE. Looks minimal, easy to take on and off, and slim. We'll see. I wanted to have a case here ready for my phone so needed a prime option. I'll post back on my opinion when I get on the phone.

Just got an Orzly Fusion Bumper case (or something like that). Very nice clear case, boutons are not covered which is very nice, and there is a black color on the sides which mean when you look at screen, edges are also black
Don't know if sides are transparent on other black-sided cases (like Ringke smoke black) but here, it's not.
Any clear case with a logo on it is an instant no-buy for me.
I'm happy with my redSHIELD clear case (Amazon Link)
It's one of the few I found that doesn't have a logo *anywhere* on it. It's a good clear TPU case for the money (likely the same case Orzly uses for its Flexicase). The only minus point is that the power and volume buttons are a bit squishy and harder to press than the actual buttons, but I rarely need to press them.
I am quite happy with the Ringke fusion clear case, it doesn't have the best compatibility with skins like Dbrand or Slickwraps because it has a snug fit but it lets you cut layouts to put between the phone and the case much like the old Nokia 3100
This is slightly unrelated, but how do you guys carry around your nexus 6p with these clear cases? I mean in the pocket? I have the spigen clear case and the case is fine, but every time I slide the phone in my pocket it gets a lot of lint on the front exposed side of the phone. Maybe a wallet style case ?

I don't know if it will help against the lint, but the screen protector is always a good idea. My phone screen is lint free with a SP on it. Lint does accumulate in the gap between SP and case. Some ppl get lint in camera holes, but I haven't.

I love my Spigen Ultra Hybrid.
Nillkin Nature for me! Good for protection in your pockets against debris, not for drops though!
Supcase is nice. A little stiff but it looks nice and is more protective than most of the clears I believe. And the ringke fusion is really nice and softer. It looks great but a bit thinner than the supcase. I have them both.
Famous brand always have high quality but designers won't pay much attention to customers,if they can hear our voices,it will be great!
I've got a Ringke smoke black one. No problems.

Bumpers: Metal? Rubber other than Hula? Clear backed?

Today I just picked up a mint condition Moto X 2014, customized on top of customized. Black face with black front accents and a bamboo back with a silver frame and silver rear accents. I couldn't ask for a better color combination. Now I'm having trouble picking out a case. Of course I want the bamboo to show, but I also want to keep the metal from getting dinged up. And even more so, I want to protect the glass edges on the front. I'd like to get a bumper, but Hula is the only backless rubber bumper I've found. Unfortunately, nobody has them in black at the moment, and I don't like the colors that are currently available. I also don't like the look of the 100% clear rubber cases on a black face.
So, has anybody tried one of the metal bumpers found all over eBay? I like the look but I'm concerned that a metal bumper on the metal frame would cause scratches. Or even worse, if the metal bumper were to abrade against the wood back there could be scratches or gouges in the finish. Any experience or opinions here?
Also, does anybody know of a rubber bumper case with an open back besides the Hula? Or even better, a rubber case that has black edges and a full clear back? I'll probably end up getting a Supcase Unicorn Beetle for now because that's as close as I can find. But the back of the Supcase is opaque, not fully clear, and it has colored grip areas that intrude into the wood space on the sides of the back. I looked at the Poetic Affinity, but that looks too industrial for me. Especially when compared to the seriously awesome look of the naked Moto. I know I probably sound absurdly picky, but we're talking about a phone where one of it's most touted features is the ability to customize it, right?
Oh, and I tried to search the Accessories forum, but the search bar seems to be missing on my screen. So I spent the last 4 hours manually searching through the threads here and cross-referencing them with Google. If anybody has any ideas, suggestions or input, I'd be very happy to hear it. Especially if it involves customizing of accessories.

I have the same color combination on my phone.
I have the SUPCASE, black surround with frosted back. The actual frosting on mine is very slight, almost perfectly clear.
I also found this case on Amazon which might fit your needs:

I am currently using a Case-mate Gelli Case for Moto X. Same as this case sold through the Motorola store but I bought it through Ebay for much less:
http://www.motorola.com/us/consumers/cases-FLEXR2/
I like this case a little better than the other because it fits in my holster better and just feel better in my hand but it does not offer the same level of protection as the others.

This one appears to have a black edge with a clear back which would be PERFECT if I could find it for sale anywhere. The Motorola site doesn't have any, the Case-mate site doesn't even list the Gelli series for our phone, and there's none to be found on eBay or Amazon. If you, or anyone else knows where I can get one, I'd be extraordinarily thankful. Or perhaps if someone on here has one to sell, I'm all ears.

What are the best cases for the red OP6?

Hi all, I bought the red OP6 a couple of weeks ago and have been using the clear case that was included. I have some mixed feelings about it, the positives for me are the raised corners to protect the screen (I just wish they would have done something similar for the camera), all buttons work perfectly and is clear to show off the amazing red color. I just have one negative issue which for me is very annoying, just at the middle in the back it sticks to the phone like if it is wet, which looks very bad, and creates the rainbow effect to the sides. So with this in mind, I am looking for a new case which hopefully doesn't have this issue.
Which would be the most recommended? And if any of you are using them please post some pics, I can´t seem to find any of the red OP6 in a case.
Thanks guys!

Pretty unclear and confusing as their images show the volume switch on the wrong side Also don't think it would do much in the way of protection.

There are little nubs on each corner of the Ringke to prevent it from hitting the desk or table when you put it down which eliminates a lot of the scratching. I used mine for a week and don't see any scratches in it. In the second to last photo the Orzly is on the left and Ringke is on the right. The last photos is the Ringke on the phone.
I have the Ringke clear also *I'm kind of a horder with cases lol* and because of the back being such a hard plastic it has grazes all over it. Dunno if its from being in the pocket with something else or whatever really. Also the cut out for the volume notch is totally off placement. I just can't find one that I'm like wow awesome atm. Although the Spigen case is pretty dam good but I have a dbrand skin on and it isn't a clear case unfortunately as you also would like. Would you consider a bumper case like Rhinoshields? I am awaiting mine to try out.

The Rhinoshield looks similar to the Orzly. I'm also a case hoarder and have 7 cases for the OP6. Every time a new one comes out that looks good I buy it. So far the Orzly is my favorite.
i dont think you should use a case on a red oneplus but no doubt the official red case is nice but my most used case if the nylon case which is so damn perfect... looks nice but also adds lots of grip and protection

Would not recommend it. I bought it, and the back doesn't sit close enough to the phone. At the camera cut-out there is about 1-2mm of space between the back of the case and the phone. If u don't have any skin on it you will scratch the back of your phone from all the dust and partials that can get through it.
Recommend these for the RED OP6. I own the first one.
# Good Quality. Fits well.
# Rubberised in and out.
# No room on the inside to cause scratches.
# Transparent Back.
# Decent lip on the front. Not the best raise, but certainly helps when flipping the phone over without having the screen touch the surface. Might be a problem for phone with a tempered glass. Check comments on Amazon for more info.

Thanks for the feedback, I too heard that the scratches in the Ringke came from evryday use and just having it in your pocket, whic is what worries me.
I do want to try the Rhinoshields bumper, I had one in my iPhone and an S7 and really liked them, but I am not sure how it would look since there is only black or white, and I think it takes away from the red phone aesthetics.
The Supcase might be the one, it looks pretty cool, except maybe for the black bumper. If ti were red or clear it would be a total winner.
Anyone has any experience with the Nillkin Nature Series? It looks nice !

But since it has a nylon back, i cant do that, i hope its really protective since i drop my phone alot
i might be getting a clear case in a few weeks, i feel it is cruel to hide this beautiful Red beast.
