Hey everyone! I wanted to let you know that you can now submit kernels for the Desire S to Kernel Manager! If you haven't heard of KM, it's a project with a very simple but ambitious goal: create a place where all kernel developers can submit kernels easily and reach a much wider audience with ease.
Using Kernel Manager to flash kernels takes less than 30 seconds, generally, and it is extremely simple for end-users to find a kernel, filter by kernel features (BFS, CFS, HAVS, SBC, etc) download/install kernels, and submit ratings for their favorites.
We need from kernel developers like YOU! Submitting a kernel to Kernel Manager is totally free and we even provide hosting for you! Submitting kernels is easy!
If you use IRC, join us in freenode in #kernel-manager!
THIS LINK IS FOR KERNEL DEVELOPERS SPECIFICALLY! Go to http://kernels.teamw.in and register for an account! Once it's approved, you can easily enter new kernels, which immediately show up in the app. The app is currently available in the market.
Please feel free to provide me with any feedback you have, or feature requests in order to make this a great tool for all of android to utilize!

One of the key aspects of Android is its open-source nature, and one of the biggest players in the open-source community is GitHub. What better way to tie that all together than for GitHub to release an Android app? So here it is
GITHUB
" GitHub is the best way to collaborate with others.
Create, manage, and discuss issues and stay up to date with an integrated news feed for all your organizations, friends, and repositories.
View your issues dashboard to stay connected with all the issues you've reported, been assigned, or participating in the discussion on. You can also view and filter a repository's issue list and bookmark it for quick access."
As you might expect, the entire application is open-source, and GitHub has invited users to take a look through their app's repository to see exactly how the application was built. Fitting right in with the latest Android style, the GitHub app uses a nice implementation of the Android UI guidelines (AKA "Holo"), which should be a good basis for other application developers to derive their own application themes from.
The GitHub application requires an account to use, but it's free to sign up, so go check it out.

Enjoy!!
Cheers!!
If it's not done already, you really should post this in a more generic app thread.
I'll try the app to follow up on CM9/AOKP.
Thanks.
Hi xda community.
this it my first post showing an interesant campaign.
We are four young developers trying to raise money so we can spend all our time building Ares4droid; an open source p2p client for Android that will get access to p2p ares galaxy network.
The Ares Galaxy source code is free so, we only have to code it on Android Platform. What we need is the time it takes to create a elegant mobile version of this software. We are all ready to work for six months totally focused on building Ares4droid. We want to spend all our time writing code to give you a great piece of software. We are going to release our code as free software so everyone can make Ares4droid even better.
Now, we give us any donation in money or promulgate the project idea with the facebook and twitter buttons placed into the project page, for more information about the project visit us.

Hello i am Rados Budisa
I am owner and founder of the team Spike Lab
Spike Lab team focuses on delivering best preformance sability and securiity to all devices.
We have focused only on these things.
But now we have decide to make our own ROM source based ofcours on our popular CyanogenMod.
We are a little group/team who would like to expand and start working more seruosely on the SPL ROM project.
We are recruiting new members that are skilled developers , themers , scripters who would help us.
What is the plan?
The plan is that we make a ROM which focuses on stability, preformance, security and ofcourse community driven features.
For now we accept up to 10 members it would be good to have a balanced nmber of members which means we need at least
4 developers and all other members would fit in by the TEAM requirments.
NOTE: SPIKE LAB is properity of Rados Budisa but all decisions in team will be made by the team itself and aroved by me (voting about something)
Spike Lab has its storage which is 150 GB.That is more than enough for the start.
We have our own web domain spikelaboratory.com
We have an Engine which is soul and hearth of Spike Lab made by Rados Budisa with help of Fera.Volt
Members that are already in Spike Lab u can see on this http://spikelaboratory.com/?page_id=13 link
all who want to join me please contact me on FaceBook via Spike Lab group or personaly via hangouts my email is [email protected]
Also all current Spike Lab can be seen on Spike Labs webisite spikelaboratory.com
