[Q] What a phone it is ??

Hi maybe you will know which Chinese smartphone GoClever Insignia 5 (5X) and Highscreen Alpha R clone is ? Thanks.

actually its phone from Poland (made in China, as all phones). i got it, it's an nice and cheap device (200e)... 1st i wanted motorola moto G, but then i decided for this 2 sim phone. (private and company SIM). it has 2 Batteries included (2k mA and 4k mA + 2 covers).. now I'm waiting for update, as i got issues with BT in my car and also there is no option to install apps to you external SD card (update should fix it)

Hi ! Yes I know I’m Pole and I have this phone. Update is available now on goclever site (unfortunately I can`t pestle link to file ) but if you will update device you will lose possibility to root it later. On old system you can root device (Framaroot min. 1.6) changes two strings in vold.fstab file and install all apk on sd card .
If you are interested how root and what should be changed in vold.fstab file i try to write some guide. I also can help with other goclever phones, on polish sites is more information about them products.

thx. now I got 1 more issue.. when i connect my phone via bluetooth to car radio, Im not able to call, when i try to call i lose Network and need to re-enter PIN code on both Sim cards... it's really annoying...

Theres a website called Hexamob and smth else which shows you a tutorial on how to root and install CWM on your device. Google it

Firstly, i got root to work by installing Poot.apk (not kidding, thats the app name). It got my phone to root so i decided to flash CWM with the files given there, apparently, one of the instructions was to boot the phone to fastboot which i cant get through.

Hey guys, finally, I loaded TWRP recovery on this device.
1.Root your device and install SU.
2. Find a Recovery for your device (CWM/TWRP)
3. Download MobileUncleTools and flash your recovery.img

Though it has fastboot mode and recovery in it, developers should take interest in that phone and do some modifications.

No, you just flashed an app in recovery. Stop spreading lies.

JBStore has an app JBHotspot which lets users create mobile hotspot. Works like charm, don't 'spread lies' until you've tried.

it seems all phones designed for the indian market do not see much rooting and custom OS development.

It does not work I tried it on my JioPhone F50Y the hotspot doesn't get detected by the client and KaiOS version 2.5

Can someone who has Hisense A2 please tell me if Yota applications ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/developer?id=Yota+Devices+LLC ) run on A2? I.e. is it possible to make the e-ink display look like the one of Yotaphone?
Also what is the difference between Hisense A2 and Hisense A2 pro?

They actually are - I have a Yotaphone 2 and it's running Android 6.0.1.
I've seen some pictures of HiSense A2 and the widgets (or whatever they are) on the eInk screen look horrible.
If Yota's apps and widgets would work on HiSense A2 this would make the phone a lot more attractive (at least for me). Also given that the price of A2 is 1/3 the price of Yota 3 and the hardware otherwise seems the same.

You need to switch otg on.
There is a switch in settings in connections.
