I have rooted my Motoroi xt720(korean ver) supposedly to Overclock it. I tried the application Motomizer then came accross with an option to upscale the resolution from 240dpi to 220dpi(not my goal but i still tried it), after did these changes the phone requested for a reboot. When the phone went off, it's just doing a bootloop on the SK telecom logo. I tried camera mode key+gallery key+power button but this does not show the recovery screen to do a hard reset. Is Flashing the the phone to stock ROM the only way to fix it, if so where can i download the SBF file? Thanks in advance.......

I need some help, this is my first time to post here(noobie). Anyway, I have learned plenty of things here in this forum..now my problem is I updated my defy with the official 2.2.2 froyo (singapore) it was ok at first though had some camera issues it kept shutting down before taking a shot. now was going to do a nandroid backup have it rooted,SetCPU and stuff..My mistake was when I used the clockworkmod for defy it installed then when I was about to go to recovery mode it got stock in a boot loop..I panic and used the hard reset (stupid enough) that i was looking for the menu (which I just read today if froyo:use + & - keys for it) to which I cannot do anything I went to boot load to flash my old firmware ver2.59 SEA18 now at RSD lite it says PASS..but did not restart my defy.. now I cant even get it to recognize even after charging my battery using universal charger. though i still see the white light at the top when I plug it on my PC..

on my XT720 my device is stuck in an endless Boot screen loop. Here's a list of things i have tried thus far to no avail:
Go into recovery mode and:
-Clear Cache
-data/factory reset
Flash Rom with RSD Lite with 3 different versions:
-Cincinnati Bell TR_U2_04.1E.1
-Korean Motoroi XT720 2.2
-UK_STR_U2_01.1E.0
Boot Phone without SD Card
Pull out battery for 24hrs and boot phone(with and without SD Card)
I'm not sure if theres a way to get into the phone's files to try and change them because I'm sure that on boot it tries to boot but when it tries to enable the phone modem it has an internal error. On the device screen the only thing i get is the black background with the white "M" Motorola logo in the center. The screen then shuts off and restarts the "M" logo.
So what I'm wondering is if anyone has any other ideas to give me to try. I'm definitely not a veteran with the Android Platform and I've only had the phone for a fiew weeks but i can figure pretty much anything out (usually)

Hi everybody! I`ve problem with my u8300; I can`t do factory reset and boot in rocovery mode. Ok, it started like this: week ago I tried add an widget to my desktop. I held my finger on screen and then from list I chosed "add widget", then pop-up window told me about problem with home app and only way to stop it is "force colse". So I thought "maybe factory reset will help" and I went to setings and chosed factory reset. Phone has shut down and started boot but stuck on Huawei logo. Then I ejected battery and put in again. Next way was "recovery boot" from ROM Manager v4.3.2.3 (before that I installed some google apps from rom update>free>google apps>the newest one) and same thing like before. Next try was recovery from 3 keys (vol up+green button+power button) and same old sh*t. Every my reboot has stuck on Huawei logo. Guys! Please, help me! What should I do?
I`m runing on Android 2.1 (stock ROM). Phone is from Polish network "Play". I had other ROM on this phone; Adrenaline 2.3.2 (from this forum) but camera won't work so I have to back to stock ROM.

rememer to copy the dload stock rom (the ideal is your own native stock rom, ie i am on italian wind and i have to use the it wind rom, not the portoguese one) into ur sdcard before doing the 3 button reset
That means I have to copy /system folder and past it on SD card?

I had flashed my Motorola XT5 (Z71 variant) to CM 7.0.3 and installed CWM Recovery 2.5.1.3. Everything was going smoothly since 17-Oct-11. I used update-CM-7.0.3-Z71-signed.zip to updated using ROM Manager 4.5.0.1
I installed a few apps from the Market yesterday & they were working fine. Total apps installed = 128. I switched off the phone yesterday night.
This morning, when I switched it on, the Motorola Logo appeared followed by the CM7 Splash Screen (for a little while only). Then the screen went blank (slight glow in the background) and remained like that for several minutes. No buttons working incl. Power. Had to reset the phone by removing the battery.
Tried to boot into recovery by holding 'Camera+Vol Up+Power' buttons. Motorola Logo appears with "Enter recovery" written across on top. remains in this screen for several minutes. Had to again reset by removing battery.
Please Help! I can't seem to figure out what to do. I have a fairly good tech skills. Will follow steps if you're kind enough to guide me. Please.

I have a LG GT540 optimus. It was on 1.6, I used a tutorial to use a kdz to flash to 2.1 stock, then again to 2.1 fastboot, then used 2.3 cyanogen installer to upgrade to 2.3
I then realised I couldn't use an unlock code on a non stock ROM, so stupidly I used kdz manager to flash back to stock 2.1 without factory resetting or wiping data! Now my phone gets to the Android logo and bootloops, and I can't access recovery to do anything about it - holding down camera button and power boots normally and loops, as does power and home button.
Please can someone help, I'm really scared I've broken my phone and don't know what do to
