so i tried flash JB kernel mean while my rom still ICS clean rom 5.1.
no detect to PC
totally dead just blinking soft button when i push power button for a while

Are you obviously holding down vol down and power then release for a second then hold down power and volume down. It should put u in screen with recovery option . Hopefully you have twrp or other program...what os on pc is it running. Its ALMOST impossible to hard brick hox.

Keep playing with your phone? LOL
I believe you can download the stock non rooted rom and start all over. From what it sounds like, you erased your OS from the phone.

Hope someone else chimes in and offers a better solution.

Ahh now I see what you were trying to do. You were trying to flash another ROM but you rebooted after you did a wipe instead of going back to recovery to flash a different ROM.

No the battery was about 90% and my charger works with my hd2 ^^
Don't boot, no charging light and just a sound when I put the usb cable to computer with a driver installation fail : QHSUSB_dload, and this too in device manager on windows !
Try volume down + power button for ten seconds or so, then release the volume button and press it again shortly but keep the power button down. This always works for me!

Yes I know but I have try that too, capacitive buttons flash don't works, so I think my phone is briked, I know the hard reset and reboot method, but here...don't works :crying:
So, do you think I must send it to repair center and hope to have a S4 model or I wait for battery totally discharge and put the charger on and try again to boot ?
The phone can't just brick, try and try until it boots

Any luck? My phone just randomly did this....
This exact thing happened to me. I think there might be a bug with the phones
Sent from my HTC VLE_U using Tapatalk 2
The way I noticed that it triggers it is downloading a huge file 100mb or higher and while that file downloads deleting another file just as big. The phone will shut off and after that no led light turns on and can't restart it or anything
Sent from my HTC VLE_U using Tapatalk 2
same issue mine completely crapped out on me. was running trickdroid beautifully for solid week or two then began noticing occassional heat then randomly died one morning. I had a black mao import on att. anyone know if htc warranty will cover it?

[Q] my phone won't respond

Hello falks..
my HTC one x phone won't respond ..
this happened when I maybe disabled one of the system features by the Carot app ..
Now when I open the phone, I get a BLANK screen .. and I can't access any of the phone features .. and when I press the power button, it just restart and the same thing happen again and again.
I couldn't upgrade the system through my computer, because when I plug it, it says CHARGE only ! and I can't change it.

Can you get into TWRP?
Hold the power button for ~10-15 seconds (lights should start flashing) and hold down volume down.
You can let go of power when you see the HTC screen, but not volume down

Lost root and have bootloop...bricked?

Hi,
really need help...I was about to sold my old HTC Sensation XE, rooted and had viper 5.2.1 on it - deleted everything from SD card, but wanted to be sure nothing remained on my phone so I made factory reset (i think I shouldn't to this)..
Now when I turn phone On it loads HTC logo, then Viper logo and restarts and then again HTC, Viper restart...
When I hold power button + vol.down nothing happens (HTC->Viper and restart) + all the buttons are flashing...
Did I bricked my phone for good or is there a way how to reflash everything?
Thanks

U must be doing it wrong or ur volume button is dodgy. Ur phone being in a bootloop should not affect getting into bootloader once uv pulled the battery.
I'm sure it was working before (my girlfriend used it a never told me she is not available to lower the sound)
why are bottom buttons flashing while holding power + vol down?

I dunno, mine does that if im in a bootloop n i try a hard reset. Dont worry. The vol button mite work but she mite just need to give it an extra push, no harm in cleaning it coz the sensations r bad for dust getting in there. K pull the battery out for a min n put back in then press and hold vol down (hard) and press n hold power button. U should get to bootloader, keep trying till u do. As long as u pull the battery out u should get there at some point.
Sometimes I also have to pull the battery out twice to make it go into bootloader. Just make sure you have enough charge in the battery too.
no luck... tried it around 20 times and nothing... communication via fastboot is not working..
so I guess there is no other way how to enter recovery as vol down and power
?

Hey,
I have the same problem with the bootloop and the corrupted locking screen. I'm able to boot into download mode, but I can't figure out which system to flash. I tried several ones, but none of them worked... and I can't get back to the factory recovery. If somebody has an idea which recovery system could work I would be very pleased to know.
