Every since I started working on Stock Mod, the XDA Premium app in the Play Store has been showing incompatable with my shift. I figured it had something to do with the version of sense I was using but now I'm on Sense 3.5? I've cleared cache and dalvic cache several times. Any ideas?
Does the Tapatalk app show as compatible? I believe they're built off the same framework. If it does, then it's specifically just that app. But I'm no dev and Idk what I'm talking about. Lol. Just throwing an idea out thefe

Also, did you change the android version that shows up in build.prop? There was some place that google play reads the version from to filter apps, I forgot exactly where though...but maybe one of your tweaks accidentally changed that value

Well its odd. I'm using tapatalk now to post this and have used it to post pics earlier. The build prop on this ROM also says sense version 3.5. I guess I may need to wipe the Shift 5 or 6 times instead of the 3 or 4 times I usually do it. i'm also having trouble with AdFree but I thought that was unrelated.

Well I have updated AdFree and the same issue. This is the only app this is happening to.
Wow this is crazy. I just restored a nandroid from a few weeks ago of SS XII which had the XDA Premium app in it. The app works great but when I go to the Play Store it says that it is installed on my device but that it is not compatible just like in the screen shot from earlier. Its not really a problem but I do wonder whats causing this...?
Are you running A2SD ?
The answer to this is that it is only supported on 4.0+ now.
What I did was restored a nandroid with it then backed it up with tb. But I use tapatalk now so its really not a big deal...

Good news for all!
NO MORE BUILD.PROP EDITING!
Install just like normal APK.
This APK only works on 2.3 based ROM's.
UPDATE: It seems that CM7 seems to be the key to success with this APK.
If it works: Hit the Thanks button!

Hopefully they fixed the DPI issue. Running at 190 DPI, I was getting the tablet version, which wouldn't let me download apps like Facebook and others. It wasn't even reading my build.prop for my model number.
Sucks because I was out of town and had to find APK's of some common apps and sideload.

Sadly, dpi issue is still there. I am also using 190.

Settings, Applications, Market - Clear Data, Uninstall (may need to use Titanium Backup ect) Reboot, Install new Market. That should work for you, let me know how it goes.

Don't think so... I tried the Zombie Killer - and after I downloaded from the market - it requested access to download additional content (30mb) from another source - so still think the cap is in place still.

hmm interesting, mind specifying on what you have done on this port besides merging the system folder with another JB build? it's nice and all but I just dont see anything worth while in this build. seems like it's buggy and un responsive at times.
