I got tired of the splash screen I'd been using and decided to make a new one, then thought I'd share it here for anybody else that might want to use it. The screen resolution s the standard Galaxy S3 of i1280 X 720, and the zip file is flashable in CWN or TWRP.

When you boot the phone instead of seeing...
Samsung Galaxy S3
you will see this splash screen for a moment before your boot animation starts.

I made this splash image last night just playing around and it came out kind of neat. Though I would share it with community since you have all shared so much in the past, present, and future.

I hope you like it. I am gonna play around with a few more, so I will update this thread when I make new ones.

Where is the screen shot of the image you used. People dont like flashing things they dont know what they are.

That's interesting. The screen shot shows up via the xda app, but not via my browser
Strange.. I will reattach the image and see if it fixes it.

Heres a couple of Doctor Who bootanimations I edited for myself, just sharing. enjoy.
These are NOT flashable zips, they need to be moved to the appropriate place. [ /system/media/bootanimation.zip ]

Didn't work for me. I pasted it into /system/media/bootanimation.zip. Do I need to set permissions?
What's the stock download screen look like?
This looks interesting.
This is the download screen to a demo unit. Software version is the same. But it has definitely been flashed with something.

There is nothing unique about that Odin Mode. I've the same exact thing on my N3. And welcome to what N3 users have been going thru since it was released. No BL exploit for N3 yet
Bummer then. I have developer note 3. Kinda bypassed all that with the note 3.

This is because the file for the demo was flashed to the demo units.

I use Backgrounds HD. It's a non intrusive app that lets you save the backgrounds as well.
Check out this thread over on the S6 forums. Lots of native QHD wallpapers (not scaled or stretched).

Try the Google Wallpaper feature that changes to a new wallpaper every day. Since that came along I no longer think about wallpapers, nor wasting valuable space on huge wallpaper apps... (500px and Electric Sheep I'm looking at you!!)
