Hi all.... is it hard to make a simple TEXT WIDGET for CHT 2 ?
customizable font size and type...and to be able to put a different text widget on each page.
something like putting titles to each page like in windows phone 7

Recently I became a fan of quote apps. So I looked through them and most of them didn't even have widgets or didn't look that beautiful.
What I am thinking of is a widget that has the style of minimalistic text widget and displays quotes. (custom quotes would be best)
So I am just trying to find a widget that shows quotes as plain white text. Does something like that already exist?

Minimalist text already exists, lol. You do know that you can put in custom text and design it any way you want, right? Go to custom, scroll over to misc., drop a static text button into the field, click on button, input text, input size of text, back out, scroll down, change font/color/etc...
you can use Tasker to parse an online source of quotes and dynamically update a minimalistic text widget at a set interval.

I'm aware of the fact that minimalistic text widget already exists but not for quotes. I could enter static text, but then the quote would stay the same forever.
Brilliant quotes unfortunately crashes all the time on my phone...plus it doesn't support custom quotes.
I still need to have a look at tasker tough.

Is there a way to add shortcuts to apps to my homescreen as just a line of text? I'm using Regina Launcher because it allows different styles for every screen, and its a really neat creativity tool, but I'd like to push it further.
I'd like to be able to put just a line of text (or a long transparent icon with a text graphic, im not fussy) on my homescreen as a shortcut to the app. Is there a way?

I think you can download an icon pack with icons looking like texts (and not pictures), then choose the option on launcher to not show shortcut's name.

I have text styler keyboard using which I can have different styled texts. Is there any keyboard available that will allow me to have textual characters colored that I can use in apps like whatsapp? If not can you suggest me some codes using which I can create such keyboard that can color text by selecting just a color.
I've looked through a dozen and they all suck, this is what I am looking for...
1. Simple, but customizable ui, I just want text and no border
2. I want to edit and have only my quotes, not the apps chosen ones
3. their has to be the ability to edit interval times of when they switch
