[MOD] Alternative LG Lockscreen

Hi everybody!
Just wanted to share a mod that will change the stock lock screen to a different style.
Not sure if this is an earlier lock screen or just something LG didn't finish developing.
First off you need root access.
Using a root explorer navigate to your build.prop file located in the system folder. Find and edit this line:
user.feature.lock_sui=true
To:
user.feature.lock_andy=true
Reboot and that's it! I like it a lot more than the old one.

Only bug I've seen is some overlapping text while charging with additional messages on the screen, like voicemail and texts.

What does it look like on yours?
I have the ICS theme installed, this :http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1467715
, so that may have added the holo icons to my framework.

It must be the theme stuff then... I am on stock theme and it looks stock android-like posted here.

Cheers this works great tried it on a few roms an it works especially well on the maxline rom

EDIT: just realised theres a themes and apps section, should this be in there instead of general discussion?

And another homescreen from me
Spent today working on an icon set for my homescreen , it comes in green white and blue and so far is just 10 or so icons but i will make a few more im sure, if anybody wants them let me know and il upload

i love the minamilist icon set have used it constantly until i decided to make my own

it says not compiled properly when appling theme

i also got this error in build 3 but in build 4 it is working fine.i installed it just after flashing build 4

i am using bulid#4.5 Bluetooth fix but when i install the theme my phone restarts or some time it installed properly but not appling properly

i will suggest you to install it just after flashing cm9 because in earlier builds i was not even able to install it,as soon i try to install it phone restarts,so with battery drain fix build i install theme first my phone got rebooted but when i saw in themes menu i found htc theme installed

thanks and are you using cm9.1 on your explorer beacause in my cm9.1 games not working properly phone restarts or some games hangs at loading

i haven't tried any game on cm9.1 so can't say about it

Another theme i quite like and know works is this jelly bean theme https://play.google.com/store/apps/...t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNtOS50aGVtZS5KQnN0b2NrIl0.
its quite similar tho the stock ics theme but with some nicer changes particularly in the notification drawer, check it out.

In build 5 themes are not working says not compiled properly

Different method to share custom ROM!!!

@Porters
Guys why don't you share a ROM by creating a backup using any recovery as your standard. By that way no can face issues like bootloop and mounting issues. Just delete all your personal stuff before creating a backup.
Any one finding this uncool can report this as invalid to moderators.

This way we can e be n get the themed homescreens made by them.. Uccw widgets and all..
This way, a super duper themed rom can be created...
..

Yeah...... any one try this type of share. Zip methods are really frustrating cause of that stupid status error. It does help out starters who wanna upload their customised ROMs.:beer::beer::beer:

Bootloop? U really have nt tried everything out here. Try the ones made by starters.
Dude try twrp and backup with compression on. I made a backup with over 100 apps and the size was just 342 mb. One doesn't have to upload everything. Just the system, data and boot is enough. It will be around 150mb. I guarantee that it will be better. I'll upload a custom rom after 10-12 days.
