I used CWM Manager to make a Nandroid backup of my stock rom. As I am running Gingerbread, I selected 'New Baseband' when prompted by CWM Manager while flashing recovery.
So the app downloaded a recovery image.
But when I selected 'Backup current rom', my phone got stuck at fastboot mode.
(I guess CWM downloaded a wrong recovery)
I revived my phone by flashing a recovery via CMD prompt of PC.
Now I want to make a nandroid backup but my question is:
1) Will I get stuck at fastboot like before?
2) Do I need to flash recovery or its there?
Please help as I dont trust CWM Manager.

Hello,
I booted my phone into recovery and selected install update from zip on stock recovery. It said after loading 'SIGNARURE VERIFICATION FAILED '
INSTTALLATION ABORTED!
My phone isn't in the list of phones supported for Cwm recovery in rom manager as it shows my alcatel phone as htc vision which it got changed into (model number about phone in settings) after I rooted my phone. So I thought that if all I get it i'll see how I'll flash the cwm.zip after I download! But thanks to the problem mentioned above, I have no hope!!!
What will I do to flash cwm ('IF' I get. It? Please help me!!

hey guys I rooted s7582 and after I installed custom recovery via odin. it passed the flashing process. But when I enter inside recovery mode then It says no command and takes back to stock recovery. Whats wrong? Plz help me out.
Solution here
same here but got solution . A file named install-recovery.sh is overwriting custom recovery. So download ROOT EXPLORER app then navigate to root/etc/install-recovery.sh. here rename this file as Install-recovery.sh.bak . Now stock recovery cant overwrite custom recovery. thank if i helped you
Custom recovery worked after using Rashr to flash. Try flashing the custom recovery through Rashr app.

all i can do is to go to DOWNLOAD MODE...
plz help me guyzzzz plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Go in download mode and then flash your recovery if that doesn't work for you then try this :
Download platform tools from Android developers page and copy you recovery in the same folder as adb->platform tools open a terminal there by shift+right click and in your phone to into download mode and type "adb devices" and hit enter if it shows a vu6t579chv something like that and next to it fastboot then type "fastboot flash recovery name_of_recovery. file_type" and hit enter. Reboot into for you phone or stock recovery. Look that part up.
