Welcome, This is My Second page Photon OS ROM I uploaded, These ROMs are based on other manufacturers, with My (iPlasm) Phonerty. I made this MIUI to work HTC HD Mini Phones (Photon). It's Fast and smooth ROM for HTC HD Mini.
Most Things are working.
Known problems:
- Audio is Mono, means it doesn't have Stereo (Left & Right) Audio.
- Audio via Car's Bluetooth for Calling doesn't work only, but it's activated.
- Video Capture Recording doesn't stop, freezing for seconds then quits unexpectedly.
- Video Player is buggy, it plays videos fine at 240p but higher quality and above not very well.
- Sometimes USB cable doesn't wake automatically until you unlock the screen, Checking the (Stay Awake) is recommended.
- with some small other bugs,
Note: You have two options about Wifi & GPS, (You should install it after Phonerty Installed at CWM Recovery)
1- if you want Wifi, you will have to choose +Wifi-Photon, this will make Wifi work normally. but you won't have GPS.
2- if you want GPS, you will have to choose +GPS-Photon, this will make GPS work, and Wifi will work But connecting to network by Wifi may cause your CPU Clock at 100%, surfing internet by this once will be okay for about hour. and after that you should Turn Off Wifi and Restart Android.
By default the ROM is set on +Wifi-Photon. save those +two files on SDCard.. and you can always choose whatever time you need it.
Tip: Some Devices may have audio issue while calling person, So just tap on Speaker Button two times while in Call.
MIUI Issues:
- Maybe sometimes the Keypad Light doesn't light up, So just pull down the Status bar and tap on BackLight & it will appear.
- Keypad, or the five buttons may not Shock.
With 3rd Party Apps, you can Record video by using Videocam illusion Pro, and for Radio you can use Spirit FM. or find another apps that works.
It's Better & Recommended to Partition your SDCard using CWM Recovery in Advanced menu (this will erase SDCard completely) & to have a lot of space for many reason. choose 1GB Size, and Swap size 32MB. or whatever you like to be. and then Install/Open app "Link2SD" to active your Second Partition ext3.
Multi Language are supported for version 2.10.26, Arabic, Japanese, Korean, Persian, Chinese, French, Italy, etc..., the 2.8.10 just supports the Keyboard input.
This is only for installing on NAND, SDCard test not available.
- Note: Backup your Important Files, This may erase your Photon's Partitions automatically, also it may delete the "Android" folder with ".android_secure" folders on SDCard if include.

2- Installing Recovery, In the Phone WM6.5, Open Explorer and navigate to SDCard and touch at HaRET, or if you're on another CWM Recovery, Restart & in White HTC press & Hold Volume Down until you're in FastBoot Mode, You should be in Fast Boot Mode to Install Recovery both in WM6.5 or others, Connect the USB cable to the PC (it may ask you the Divers needed for the device) and the Drivers are in the folder in "LK Boot - Photon" in "Google Windows USB driver" folder. How exactly do you mean?
Could you install Test2 once?

the recovery denied me the installation and registers "(bad)"
perhaps an error in the signature?

Great! So SuperUser works,
Well about Languages, I even not tested this ROM yet (this will be the First MIUI I ever try).. so I tried to find something about languages, but seems isn't easy to do..
At least, it's Good we have English version, because it's officially chinese but now english is officially supported too..

Well, Well... It was so nice, & it there are many things needs to fixed!
I was said where is the Apps button? oh forget to say.. it's just like iPhone, even new apps will make it like iPhone's Apps!
Now, it's needs somethings that I should do, who knows why on Grid 4x5 will make screen cutter? but on 4x4 Grid is much different?!
about force closes, it was same as CM9.1, just do some restarts and it will okay forever. The Lock Screen is buggy and lazy unlocking.
And I must change it to MDPI, okay this will be my plan to fix those, any answers are welcome

New MIUI ROM uploaded & ready for daily use. go to first page for downloading...
changes are difficult: bootanimation, lag lockscreen (replaced with it's original lockscreen), Home Launcher is newer than the MIUI's ROM here, New Camera Added, WiFix automatically, SuperSU (root) is ready... etc

Thank u it lopks great, but i dont think iys ready for daily use..i really appriciate ur job abd the time i spand on the hrc project, but we must find new mod or convinc thw old one to solve these bugs because u cant call it daily use without wifii and gps..

Well... I know we have these bugs, it's also written in first page, what i mean about daily isn't of course 100%,
I mean you can use it as alternative Phonerty CM9, So if you want Phonerty MIUI or Phonerty CM9 are same for daily using.

Ben Bilmiyorum!
Please I don't support to add languages,
If you found simple trusted solutions for adding languages (or Package) then you can tell me the way, and I will add it to this ROM.
And if you really like to add your custom Language, then do this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=789566
it's hard to do for all languages, one will say please add dutch, german, turkish, arabic, french, belgium, spanish.. I can't do that all for my self..
We should share together & help together

FEATURES
kernel is 2.6.29-perf, Cyanogenmod 7 Based (Gingerbread 2.3.5), overclock is supported (710 mhz max)
KNOWS BUGS:
- FM not working
- Wired headset not working during calls
- Wifi tethering is not working with built in method (settings -> wireless), but works well with the app from the market "wireless tether for root users"
- Camera is now working (thanks slk77) but buttons are not correctly skinned, minor bug
- Qrcode apps not working
- Usb thetering not working due to kernel limitation
Keyboard issues:
The main problem for keyboard is that there are different versions around of this phone with different keyboards...
In order to gain the same characters mapping as before you need to move back from the original rom the file named qwerty.kcm.bin located under system/usr/keychars in the same folder of the new rom.
The file that is now packed in the rom is the one from the italian version of u8300 that should be ok for european users. Other keyboard versions need their own file from the old eclair rom.
I'm packing some of the keyboard layout to help you with this, they are in form of zip update, flash them after the rom and remember to fix permissions!

- Install the custom recovery from rom manager, choose huawei ascend recovery
- Reboot into recovery and do a full backup of your current rom
INSTALL ADRENALIN ROM
n.b.: If you are coming from a previous adrenalin rom version I suggest you to wipe data and do a fresh install to avoid problems like bootloop or Force closes.
- Put the file Adrenalin.2.3.5.RC1.update3 into the root of your sd card and reboot the phone in recovery mode
- Choose wipe data/factory reset from the menu
- Choose "install zip from sdcard" and select Adrenalin.2.3.5.RC1.update3 from the menu, go on with the process
- Once done, reboot the phone and do the first boot, it should take 3/4 minutes
- Reboot the phone once again in recovery mode and again choose "install zip from sdcard", but this time select patches.zip and go on with the process
- Once done, do not reboot, but select "advanced" and then "fix permissions", it should take a minute or less
- Reboot and you are done

get rom manager, clockwork reco and finally i get 2.3 on my u8300 and it is working fine, it is really light and clean (how to install google apps such gmail, maps etc?)
some bugs at the first impressions (notice that i am a newbbie and this is the first rom i try on android, so some bugs aren't a real bug but depend from my incompetence):
cannot pull up the notification panel
cannot find screen alignment utility
can't find add new google account (only new email)
the in call screen is always in portrait mode (so it is rotated by 90 degrees)
this is a very best starting point for developing this huawei device.
i'll wait to test newer build
thank you very much for your efforts!
sorry for my english, if u need more detailed reports please contact me in pm, so we could speak italian ^^

thank you znial for your bug report
you can't pull down the notification panel because the touch is not aligned, and the main problem is that gingerbread don't use no more the tslib so there are not possibilities to align it manually trought a program. Align must be done by kernel side and this is so hard for me T_T but i'm working on it ^^
google apps need to be downloaded from market

btw, good news for the calibration method, a guy at google groups is developing a system to do the calibration

For the Google Apps (and market), install this: http://android.d3xt3r01.tk/cyanogen/gapps/gapps-gb-20110307-signed.zip
ty for the app for the app market ^^
You are welcome. I am doing some experiments with the rom.
As far as I've seen, the touchpad is working correctly in landscape mode. So it's a bit weird but it's still usable.
I like the idea of Gingerbread on this phone
u are right with market xD
I've uploaded the wrong release of rom -.- sry my fault... I'll add back market with next release
OK, i solved the Problem of the Google Apps.
Download "gapps-gb-20110307-signed.zip" file to your computer and copy and paste into the SDCard root . Turn off the Phone and Boot in recovery mode "Press and Hold Green key + Volume+ and Power up all the same time" and select "Flash from SD card". Then you'll see "gapps-gb-20110307-signed.zip" and Select it. Install and reboot and done u'll see all Google apps.

You can simply Download the CM9's Themes on the Web. but it's not easy as MIUI, and at this stage it can be risky too (specially CM10 and above are risky), if you do wrong things, your phone may restart and wont reach android Boot... so you have to reinstall Android or the User knowledge knows to do. Do a backup before doing this, and if you lost your control on Android, your datas wont erase but you have to connect to computer and doing uneasy things.
All you have to do is active the Theme in CyanogenMod Theme chooser's Settings, And this a tested Theme by myself on my HTC HD Mini, iPhone Theme, Enjoy with Cyanogen Themes.
Soon I may add more Themes.

I'm stuck on the CM9 boot animation. I was running SCREAM CM7 before so I wiped the caches and formatted data, boot and system mounts but its still stuck on the boot animation. Been there for over 10 mins now.
Any ideas?
I am testing this rom yesterday. but I have a problem. I dont understand but I think this rom's battery life is not good. because I full charged the battery and I started to wait. last 8 hours I did not anything. no call no sms no internet no anymore. only open screenlock for the battery level control. now the battery level is 60%
I think munjeni's cm9 battery life is better than this rom
Found something in [email protected] commands for gps, but you need to try if it will enable gps! For this procedure you need to comunicate with radio!
Procedure is:
You need 2 window opened at same time. First window:
Code:
adb shell
stop rill-daemon
In seccond window:
Code:
adb shell
cat /dev/smd0 &
Back to first window again:
Code:
echo 'ATV1' >/dev/smd0
echo 'ATE1' >/dev/smd0
echo '[email protected]' >/dev/smd0
In seccond window you will see response from radio something like "start gps ok"... If gps message was ok, close seccond window and back to first window:
Code:
killall -9 cat
start rill-daemon
Close first window and... let me know if gps working! For info I have done new version for Aria and will upload it today to aria forum!
thank you I can not understand. I did it what you say .
result : I did not saw any message in second window from radio ?
I'm not sure I made the right
Ok, so its something liike not supported on photon

Or CM9 is much different then CM7?
Sound got better since it's a consistent aria rom now? DSP working by any chance?

I tried exchange gps files between ROM by iPlasm (YOUR modified ROM) and ROM - HTC HD MINI Sense 3.5.
Copy files from Sense 3.5 to iPlasm ROM: gps.conf, gps.goldfish.so, gps.liberty.so, gps.photon.so and libgps.so
Now, my phone see satellites. I tried navigation... OK! )))
I didn't want hack HD Mini Sense 3.5. Only try something to do.
I wrote similar message to iPlasm.
I hope that it is good for your and iPlasm develop.

Hi guys, This message was sent by new user that is not allowed to post in development forum, so he say he got gps working using these libs! These libs is from old SDK so I think there will be (maybe?) segfaults! After you replace libs, and if gps realy working you need to look in logcat to be surre that if there is not a problems!

Still hoping someone can help. I wondered if it might be my SD Card which is and 8 gb SD HC. Backed up all my data, formatted it, copied the ROM zips back and reflashed. On first boot, same story; I'm stuck in the boot animation. I'm running CWM 5.0.2.7 and I've repeatedly flashed CM7 ROMS so I don't think its a CWM issue.
Is there something I need to do prior to upgrading to CM7?
Any ideas at all?

another thing Munjeni, I tried your new Aria ROM [9 July 2012], but it stuck at the Boot screen, I can see the new Cyanogen Man Logo.

ELdaArk, did you installed the new LK boot from munjeni?
I think maybe boot.img need to be repacked, or at least maybe not enought space for system? Try adb shell df and see how many free mb is in system partition!

Here are some things you should know before you install this ROM:
1. Suggestions are always welcome but I hate requests - You want something so bad, do it yourself or ask HTC. You paid them not me.
2. Custom Roms come without warranty. They are tested before release but something always can go bad. So if you broke your phone or you got fired because the alarm didn't rang - It's not my problem !
3. Don't compare Roms. It is rude and offensive for chefs. If other Rom has what you need, use that Rom.
4. Don't ask for ETAs.. Period !
5. All modders or anyone can make whatever changes they want to NExtGen but release your work as a flashable mod to NExtGen. Don't release another ROM by just changing small stuff here and there. You do not have my permission to crap on XDA's forum.

It is assumed that you have Yannou's recovery and a nandroid backup with you always.
1. Partitioning through recovery:
Backup your SD card on your computer.
Boot into recovery by reinserting the battery and holding down volume down and then power buttons together.
Use volume down button to go down and select ‘advanced’.
Select ‘Partition SD Card’.
Select the ext size that you want (128M, 256M, 512M, 1024M, 2048M or 4096M). This is the size of your extended partition where all apps and dalvik cache will be stored. Choose 512M (mb) or 1024M. It's more than enough.
Select 0M as the Swap Size.
Once finished, connect your phone to computer. ‘Go to Mounts and Storage Menu’ and select the last option ‘mount USB storage’. You can then copy back your data to SD card.
That's all.
2. Memory management:
I have been asked about this 100s of times. I am posting all the info that will explain how NExtGen works. Basically there are 3 important directories that store all your user files.
/data/app - here all the user apps are stored
/data/dalvik-cache - here the dalvik cache of all apps is stored.
/data/data - here the data of all user apps is stored.
/data partition is the internal memory of HTC Explorer (150mb in size)
With mount2sd you can move all this data to the ext partition we created in the above guide. By default in NExtGen (since v1.2) apps and dalvik cache is moved to the ext partition while app data is kept on internal memory so that there are no lags while opening applications. You can choose what to move to external too. Check the following information on how you can configure it.
1. Apps:
To move apps, use this command in terminal emulator (comes with ROM pre-installed.)
Type su and grant root privileges.
m2sd apps enable
- By enabling this option, the script will move all apps from /data/app into /sd-ext/app and link that folder to the original path so that Android can find the content.
similarly if you use m2sd apps disable, all apps will be moved to the internal memory.
2. Dalvik Cache:
m2sd dalvik enable/disable
- By enabling this option, the script will move all content from /data/dalvik-cache into /sd-ext/dalvik-cache and link that folder to the original path so that Android can find the content.
3. Data:
m2sd data enable/disable
- By enabling this option, the script will move all content from /data/data into /sd-ext/data and link that folder to the original path so that Android can find the content.
You can check the status of what's on your internal memory and what's on your sd-ext by typing this in terminal emulator.
Type su and press enter
Type m2sd status and press enter. You will see something like this -
3. Video Tutorial:
Here is a video made by satvik7star to show the installation of NExtGen.

You need yannou's recovery and partitioned sd card.. which you would have already if you were on jaggyrom. The main difference is use of Mounts2sd which will work better than a2sd. Please refer to features section.

2. HTC Explorer camera produces somewhat dark pictures...i am not talking about exposure..(and u cant increase exposure much as pics get blurry)..but on other phones i find the camera produces bright images even on low exposure..i think it has something to do with white balance..hope that can be improved..Hope u understood:angel:
3. Is it possible to get sweep panorama on our phone...would be great if you add it..

How to enter into recovery mode:
With Huawei U8836D completely turned off, press and hold VOL. UP key and turn on the phone. The phone will vibrate and after the splash logo appears, all keys should be released.
Navigation under recovery mode:
Stock recovery mode: As soon as the splash logo disappears, an image with a triangle and an Android will appear and BACK key must be pressed in order to access menu options. Navigation is made using VOLUME keys (navigate up with VOL. UP and navigate down with VOL. DOWN) and MENU key to apply the action.
Custom recovery mode: As soon as the splash logo disappears, ClockworkMod Recovery menu will appear. Navigation is made using VOLUME keys (navigate up with VOL. UP and navigate down with VOL. DOWN) and MENU key to apply the action.
How to flash custom recovery:
Download Huawei U8836D custom recovery and follow this MT657x flashing tutorial.
Warning: the package includes preloader, but there's no need to flash it. Make sure that you select only recovery to be flashed.
Flashing a new custom ROM via the SD card method (update.zip):
Read this guide to know more about ClockworkMod Recovery and how to flash a custom ROM.
Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Question: I can't install your custom ROMs. Why? What am I doing wrong?
Answer: First of all you have to flash a custom recovery into your phone and then you are able to install my custom ROMs. Read the tutorials on post #2 to know the procedures.
Question: I wanted to try one of your custom ROMs. Will I loose all my data after installing it?
Answer: Yes, you will loose all your data... unless you create a backup to restore after installing the ROM. There are two recommended ways to create backups of your userdata:
Doing the backup under custom recovery mode: navigate to backup and restore menu.
Using Titanium Backup to create a backup of your favourite applications.
Question: Can I fully revert to factory settings?
Answer: Sure, just download the stock update.zip and install it from recovery.
Question: In phone specifications it's stated that it has 4 GB of eMMC, but only approximately 700 MB are available for internal storage... Can you explain me the reason for that?
Answer: The phone has indeed 4 GB of eMMC. Part of it is used by system and cache partitions, while the rest of the size is divided into internal storage (approximately 700 MB) and an internal sdcard partition (approximately 2 GB). If you find that an internal sdcard partition is useless (and have a big external sdcard), you can extend userdata partition (internal sdcard partition completely disabled). Jump into post #4 to learn how to apply that mod.
Question: Somehow I have got invalid IMEI numbers. How do I restore my phone's IMEI numbers?
Answer: Read this tutorial. Don't forget to say thanks to its author.
Question: Does my phone really have two IMEI numbers?
Answer: Every dual SIM smartphone based on MT65xx SoC has two IMEI numbers. Some just don't display both numbers on dialler when you type code *#06#, but if you go into Settings / About phone / Status / IMEI information you'll see the IMEI set for both slots.
Question: How can I access hidden MediaTek engineering mode?
Answer: From phone's dialler type code *#*#3646633#*#*.
Question: Are your custom ROMs patched to fix Android's master key (bugs 8219321 and 9695860) vulnerabilities?
Answer: No, but the solution to that is pretty simple:
Install Xposed framework (instructions on the support thread)
Install Master key dual fix module (instructions available also on it's support thread)
To check if system is vulnerable you can use one of the following apps:
SRT AppScanner
Bluebox Security Scanner
All credits to rovo89 for the amazing Xposed framework and also to Tungstwenty for the Master key universal fix.
Question: I don't have this phone, but mine is also based on the same MT6577 SoC. Can I still flash your recovery and install your custom ROMs?
Answer: Even though your phone is based on the same SoC, there may be differences in other hardware components. It is not likely that recovery and ROMs will work on your phone so you may risk to brick it.
Huawei U8836D internal memory re-partition
Initial notes:
Make sure that you have a full nandroid backup of your current ROM. If not, boot into recovery mode and make one. This is very important if you want to restore userdata after internal memory is re-partitioned.
Also make sure that you have a backup of your internal sdcard because it will be fully erased and disabled.
Warning: the package includes preloader, but there's no need to flash it. Make sure that your selection is according to the screenshot bellow.
Instructions:
Copy disable_internal_sdcard.zip to external sdcard (read note bellow)
Shutdown the phone
Open SP Flash Tool v3.1222.00 (or higher) and load the scatter file
Flash MBR, EBR1 and RECOVERY as shown on the next image (read flashing tutorial first):
{

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
After flashing is complete, boot into recovery mode and format /data
Optionally, if you want to restore previously saved userdata, go to nandroid backup / restore and restore data (advanced restore feature)
Install disable_internal_sdcard.zip file through recovery mode (read note bellow)
Reboot your phone and enjoy your extended userdata partition
Important update: All the new ROM updates which include AROMA installer also include a script to automatically disable internal sdcard if extended userdata partition is detected. Dismiss the part of the instructions that refers to the installation of disable_internal_sdcard.zip file. All the rest of the procedure is still valid and must be done before installing the ROM. That said, if you are going to apply this modification, you must re-install the ROM.
Please also note that this mod should only work with my custom ROM installed. Be warned and please do not blame me if you run into some problem while applying the mod over stock or any other custom ROM
Thanks Bruno for the recovery image. I will get it flashed when I am back home.
I have noticed that actual phone reception signal levels are lower than my W3+ Thl phone. Have you noticed any difference in signal levels where you are against your ZTE 970? It may be just the algorithm they use on this one.
I love the tricolour led but lack of tts settings is a little annoying. Overall, I am very pleased with it so far though.
Thanks Bruno - I look forward to some custom ROMs - I'd managed to dump the entire original ROM last week having made a scatter file then add Gapps but nothing else. I'm completely new to modding and happy to do any testing etc. My phone had the original factory ROM.
Yes the signal reported does seem on the low side. The battery drain does seem a little high as well so far even when not constantly playing with it!!) - wonder if the CPU governor is set properly?
Edit - gave the phone a good full charge overnight - before using it today and down to 90% after 12 hours - with little/no use - so about normal for a smartphone. Probably hadn't charged it fully before!!
Thanks Bruno, my phone is at this time only paperweight, so I am waiting impatiently for your ROM.
Thanks for the recovery img Bruno.
For those of you who want to install the Huawei HiSuite app on your phone and desktop but can not get a link from the Huawei site here, I have uploaded it to 4Shared and you can download it from this folder here. This suite allows some syncing to be done and some backups etc. Full details on the Huawei website.
EDIT:
Bruno, not quite sure what happens but after flashing your custom recovery and testing it, I reboot and the original recovery returns! Just to make sure that I was not going mad, I flashed the custom recovery image again. I can use it, I have even done a back up of the system but after running the phone and a reboot, the original recovery returns again.
Is there anything to resolve this, are you having same problems? This is really strange.
EDIT:
From MSprecher
The custom recovery is allways overwritten by the stockrecovery when booting the phone. This can be avoided by rebooting from within the CustomRecovery right after having flashed it. There should be an extra-option after the reboot-command in CWM-Recovery to avoid this.
Enjoy Matthias

Yes, that happens with the stock ROM installed and the workaround for now is the one Matthias already told you. With my custom ROM installed that will not happen.
Thanks, the option to allways use custom recovery does appear and you have to confirm this option before first reboot. Thanks guys.
Bruno it will be great (i don't know if it is possible) if the new rom could aggregate the memories, i mean the same you did on the ZTE, putting the same storage for programs and the only sdcard is the external.
Yes, I plan to release the same extended userdata mod as I did for V970, but not integrated into the ROM, so that users can choose want they want.
Btw, i found now in my small experience with the device two problems:
- Some apps can't be installed (Asphalt 7, Sports Tracker, WorldMate, etc.) which were working in my previous Gsmart G1345. Is it due to the Mtk CPU??
- Comparing again the two devices, this one has a worse GPS, much more inaccurate and very slower in getting signal.
Lets wait for your fantastic Rom, Bruno.
Crake you are right, I cannot install profile scheduler+ or EasyProfiles Pro due incompatibility. DualSIM?
No, that is a problem of permissions. It will be working on the custom ROM, don't worry.

I have already enabled Speech category (Voice search and TTS output) under Language & input menu, so you'll be able to access TTS settings.
By the way, I will release the first custom ROM today. It will not support any additional language other than the default ones - English and Chinese (Traditional and Simplified) because I don't have time right now to do it. The support for more languages will only be included in the next version. Hope you all understand!
awesome!!
u know I have been waiting for a rom for this phone u8836D from day one, because i messed it up on the day i received it, especially replacing the system folder files etc.. just pain in the bum to not have a rom (even stock rom) handy. And it's been endless waiting...
when your first post came up, I opened your shared folder for like a million times to try to find the rom, but just recovery img there, i thought I missed something maybe and read all your posts another million times...
Now just 10 mins ago, it appears in that lovely folder just like a magic...
Will let you know how I go...
i haven't learned my lessons from my last 5 Android phones...all I want now is just clean system with google services on...
When we get that, we star talking optimization and who's ass is more sex lol
Okay, I have just uploaded the first custom ROM for U8836D into my 4shared folder.
Please read what are the fixes / modifications that I've made over the stock ROM on the third post of this thread or in the readme.pdf that's inside the .7z file.
Enjoy! :fingers-crossed:
EDIT: I forgot to say that this ROM clears all userdata, so make a backup first using Titanium Backup, for example. But please note: do not restore any contact / messages database. Let Android create it from the scratch or else, if you restore everything the CID bug will be there again!
So how do I restore (and backup) sms, contacts and call logs to avoid CID bug?
Simple: you don't restore. Just sync the contacts again with Google (or Exchange), let the database be built from scratch and that's it. It's either that or having the nasty CID bug back...

First of all tkank you for the development of this awsome rom. I don´t know if what I´m asking is possible, but why don´t you contact JDStar, who has developed another multilanguage lewa rom and ask him for permissions to add the tranaslations to your rom? This is the link to his rom:

CMW recovery flashed but no go
Hi there,
I tried to get into the newly flashed CWMR but somehow I've failed. What I've done is use mobileuncle tools to get into CWM 5 and from there flash the zipfile I've downloaded from the sources. Now the CWM app does boot into recovery but I get this little android figure with a ! from it's belly. Not good I suppose.
I'd realy like to try out this rom but without working recovery I'm a bit scared I'm going to brick the thing....
Could you please advise??
Greetings,
Andreas
i use gthrill for a couple of days and the only problem i have is that when i open the wifi after some time the signal in one of my two sim drop....
i have it in all roms i try...
Installed last night.
Looks nice, work fine, stable. Well done
I have only one issue.
USB won't work.
When Jiayu is connected to PC, USB storage is not recognised. Any solution for this?

Didn't work. Got it working using the dd method (way easier if you ask me ).
Now, I've installed CWM 5.5.0.4 in /dev/recovery but when trying to flash the zip file for the LewaOS rom it gives me 'cannot open file'. Is that because I need the newer version of CWM mentioned in the opening post? Or just something else? Perhaps because there's 'spaces' in the filename? I'll let you know if I find something out there !
** Update **
I downloaded the correct rom but still no go It just doesn't want to install the rom...

Hi
Reflashed again.
Everything is fine.
I think is slower than original ICS 4.0.4 ROM, but stable and good.

I found this ROM very good so far.
There's only small issue with some mobile web sites. Some of the links cannot be open.
I've installed Opera browser in addition but is exactly the same so
I'm not sure: maybe there is a problem in ROM or badly written mobile web sites.
Thanks a lot
