I do not know if that's even possible.
Try partition SD Card in FAT32 Primary and ext4 Primary, install ROM, install Link2SD, open it and choose ext4, OK.
When the script is done, exit from it, reboot system. After reboot open Link2SD, Settings and put a check mark in Auto link,
will automatically be check mark in Auto link notifications. Exit and that's it.
Before partition SD Card copy files from SD Card which you want and paste it somewhere on HDD. After partition SD Card and install ROM you can your files copy from HDD and paste on SD Card.

Hi folks,
Does anyone know how to move apps over to the SD card without it freezing or rendering the app unusable?
I move the app and then the phone says "SD card removed, please insert new card" I try to start the app and it won't work.
Cheers

Running same setup, but on 1.59 radio. On POLA200.
I have the same issue and now I have corrupted my SD.
Nedded to full format and reistall the ROM from skratch
Do any of you tried apps2SK or link2SD ?
Thanks
miazza
Update
I have reinstalled the system from skratch and now installed link2sd on an external 8Gb SD.
I made first partition 7 Gb FAT 32 Primary and second partition 1 Gb Ext2 Primay (both shall be primary).
Copy all your SD data to the FAT32 one than insert it in the mobile and boot.
I everything goes well, now you should see your FAT32 partition.
Now install Link2SD from the market (it is free) and follow the instructions.
You need to reboot once more and the mobile is OK. All your apps will be stored in SD.
Enjoy.

Hello,
I'm trying to "Increase Internal Memory Size to Whatever You Want!", in:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1398797
My procedure:
download Odin program for my device
download script All in One Wonder AutoScript
create two partition (first FAT32, second ext4) in my SD card
download Kernel source code from Samsung OpenSource Release Center
setup file settings.sh + download Android NDK with compiler
run script and flash result file "CODE_S5830BOKS3_boot.tar.md5" in Odin
The script has no error (tested with DEBUG="YES"). Result is function but with no change.
Partition (ext4) not mount and not increase internal memory.
My phone PDA: S5830BOKS3
The original is: http://www.uloz.to/xJ7pxuE/s5830boks3-s5830tmzks1-s5830xwks2-home-tar-md5
How to proceed now?
Or please run this script & compilation and add this PDA to thread
PS: If I test other PDA for example S5830XWKS2, the internal memory mount to /data but wifi does not work. From this I conclude that I have a functional "SD card partitions".
Thanks for the ideas, advice

What method did you use in that link method 1 or method 2? I guess 2 as you have CWM.
sdcard0 is the user internal storage area and extSdCard is the storage slot for the external micro sd card if you would have one.
You are asking how to root......... After following that link and doing as it directed, how do you know that you are not rooted?

Did you put the CWM-SuperSU-v0.94.zip file on your tablet before you tried to root it? or is that file on an external sd card and you are trying to get access to it to install?
I had trouble the first time I rooted with the file on a micro sd card but after I transfered the CWM-SuperSU-v0.94.zip file from my computer to the Note 10.1 internal storage I could access the file without issue.
SuperSU is in Google play https://play.google.com/store/search?q=super%20su&c=apps I think you could install it from there as v0.94 will update from Google Play after install and reboot anyway.

I would try to root the Note 10.1 again and follow the directions exactly as shown is this video, it is the same as what you did but give it another try. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nIYiXzcW7xs
I also would recommend that you re-download the (GalaxyNote10.1/rooting/RootGalaxyNote10.1.zip) File as that could also be the issue.
.
I just used framaroot to root my gt8020. Dead simple really

Here is a guide for all of those people who are sick of the extremely low internal memory of A30. So, cheer up!
1. First of all root your phone by following the steps from this page.
2. After successfully rooting your phone download this software and install it on your PC.
3. Now insert your SDCARD in your PC through card reader or mount as SDCARD.
4. Copy all the contents of your SDCARD to your PC.
5. Now open MINITOOL PARTITION WIZARD and select your SDCARD from the list of DISK.
6. Now click on Move/Resize and move the slider towards left to empty up space from your SDCARD, as desired for internal memory. I would recommend 1.5 GB, if your SDCARD is greater than 2 GB. Now click OK and then click APPLY.
7. Now select the unallocated space of your SDCARD and right click on it.
8. Now select CREATE and in partition type select PRIMARY and in file type select FAT and then click OK and then click APPLY.
9. Now safely remove your SDCARD from PC and insert it into your phone and start it. OR turn of USB storage.
10. Now open play store and search for LINK2SD app and install it.
11. Now open LINK2SD and select FAT32/FAT16 and OK and then when asked for reboot device, click on REBOOT.
12. After restarting your device, open LINK2SD and select the apps that are installed in internal memory - For instance, ROOT EXPLORER and then select CREATE LINK and then select OK.
13. That's it. Now you can move all of your apps that are installed in your internal memory to your SDCARD.

Sir , i want a good custom rom for rooted q mobile a30 having
4.2.2 stock rom which rom is best for my mobile? It is dual core and having
256 mb ram
Any solution for this problem ?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=919326
As mentioned in the above link, i hv followed every step but still can't get this to work.
1.) Rooted my Xperia L with Rootkit for Xperia on latest firmware 15.3.A.1.12 (stock kernel).Root successful.
2.)Installed latest version of Link2sd, i.e. 3.1.2
3.)Connected my phone to pc as mass storage device
Formatted external 32gb sandisk card with Minitool in two partitions.First one is 20gb, primary, fat32.
Second 10gb, primary, fat32
4.)Disconnected the phone from pc & rebooted it.
5.)Checked the Storage in settings & it was showing only the second partition of my ext. sd card, i.e. 10gb
6.)Ran Link2sd, it asked for Super User permission which i granted with SuperSu
7.)Then it asked for filesystem for the second partition on ext card.i chose fat32.
8.)In next screen Link2sd said it Mount script error. Mount script cannot be created. mount : No such file or directory.
9.)Again i ran that script from left pane of link2sd.It said to reboot the phone which i did.
10.)From then on the phone goes into bootloop whenever i create two partitions in that external card.
I have to delete both partition and format it again as single one and then put it back into phone and it will normally boot.
Anyone successfully transferred apps, games to ext card with link2sd ? Pls guide me.
If you want to transfer games, GL to SD is the best option available to rooted users to transfer game data to ext.SD Card! You can also transfer apps using that, but it's not recommended. But I believe you must not be having apps that take 4gb+? I have tested GL to SD with my XL - Virtua Tennis, Asphalt 8 all work like charm and occupy no space in my Int.SD Card.
thanks .. i'll try that ...
for apps what i should use ? what about foldermount or apps2sd ?

Did not try, will give a go tomorrow and tell you! Perhaps you should also try.. I had a good experience with GL to SD, so did not try them..Heard of Apps2SD Quiet often, but never Foldermount.
ok .. i'll try gl to sd
is there any bug in foldermount ?
if someone solved my link2sd prob, it would have been nice...... if i create a second partition in ext card, the phone goes into bootloop ... i think the mount script can't recognise it during bootup ... is there anyway to clear that mount script ?
can anyone atleast guide me how to do this using Terminal ?
1. Install Link2SD, launch so it makes the mounting script.
2. Remove mount scripts from /etc/init.d using terminal in my device.
Code:
cd /etc/init.d ; rm 05mountsd ; rm 11link2sd
3. transform to system app by moving Link2SD from /data/app to /system/app
Code:
mv /data/app/com.buak.Link2SD-1.apk /system/app/com.buak.Link2SD-1.apk ;reboot
