Hi, am new to this whole thing.
Would like to know what is the easiest way to root my lg optimus l7
(LG-P705)
The software version is V10e.
It is running android 4.0.3.
I have tried various methods of rooting my phone, but none seem to work
(SuperOneClick, z4root)
Is there a easy method with minimal steps to rooting my android phone?
Thanks for your time in reading this, would really appreciate a response soon.

Hi,
I was wanting to root my T-mobile LG G2x and I found a previous forum but it don't know if the methods will work due to the forum rooting for a 2.3.3. G2x were I have the new update that is 2.3.4 will the same method work for the update or is there a different way to do it, or would the program unlockroot work to do the rooting?
here is the forum I found:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1255214
and is the legit site for Unlock root?:
http://www.unlockroot.com/index.htm
Bump. Did you ever figure it out? I'm having the same problem.
I flashed my phone that had 2.3.4 with a stock rom and was able to go from there.
Let's get one thing straight I am not at all a pro at this.
What led to me flashing stock was my dumb ass flashing my phone with a p990 version. XD

Dear Sirs,
This will be my first time to root my Phone LG Optimus 3d. Please can somebody help me by giving me guide on how to root my phone easily. I also need to know which rooting software would be compatible to my LG-P920, it is running on Android Gingerbread 2.3.5 and software version LGP920-V20f-APR-24-2012 and which firmware would be the best to install after rooting.
I am doing this because i'm already tired of waiting for the ICS update from LG. By the way i will be using windows 7 through VMware Fusion on my mac (is it okay?).
Thanks in advance.

Well..
I would like to root my at&t lg g2 d80010q before I update and go to kitkat. I have looked around the xda site for ways to do it but, frankly, things are scattered and, its making it difficult for me to understand what to do.
Is there someone here who can guide me to a thread in which it will help me root the device and than retain the root through the update..
any advice will be appreciated..
thank you.

Hey guys! I am new so if this post is in the wrong section help me out >.<! Now i know the Lg Opitmus L70 isn't a widely used phone or at least not very popular, but I was wondering has anyone started development for this phone yet? The root has been made and so has the CWM which works on both A and B Firmwares just the button combination needs correct timing. Since the bootloader is unlocked and we have come this far for this phone is there anyone that may have tried to compile a custom rom for this? If so i would like to know and keep up with your progress. thanks for any feedback!
