So guys like most of you I have been running jellybean for a while now. however I have noticed that the new lock screen has a little lock mark and doenst show the bubbles for missed calls and messagges. Originaly I thought this was an issue with either my theme or rom. But my sister who also has an s3 has the same issues and shes not rooted has anybody found a fix for this yet or is this just something we r going to have to wait till verizon fixes its f*** ups.
I am also having issues with googleplus connecting to the server I tried to sign in on multiple roms but keep getting an error

This has been answered in a couple different places. Look in the FAQ section of the OP in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1974114.
Use a root file browser and goto /system/csc and rename customer.xml to customer.xml.bak and reboot. This will remove the lock icon and return the missed call/unread txt bubbles.

I've been using the forum for a while now, but never felt the need to ask something, nor to respond (as I'm a noob).
But today I was going to ask a question in the developers forum, I receive a message saying I first have to post 10 messages.
From then on I can't perform searches any more.
Is that right or have I done something wrong?

You did not do anything wrong really. Maybe close your browser and re open it or do a restart and see if you still can not use the search function. The ten post thing is a rulle to try and keep the devwlopment forums clean. Next time you have a question post it here in the general or the Q&A forums. If you continue to have trouble with the search function cantact q admi.istrator or moderator.

The search function has been down all day.
I never realized how much I used it,until it disappeared.
Ok them. I guess I basically surf the forum via the search, so I'm missing it too much. But if the feature is down for everyone I'll have to try again later.

When you hit search, if nothing comes up, just hit F5. Works like a charm, every single time
Okay, this is is my very first post in any kind of forum lol. I really don't know where to begin on here so please don't go all rage at me about how I'm in the wrong place cos I know I probably am. If so, just point me in the right direction.
But, if by chance I AM in the right place or you're just willing to help me out then here is my question....
In the CM10 MMS app, I really like the quick reply feature. Though what I don't like is the "select template" thing to the left of the text box. If anyone could point out how to remove this then I would be thoroughly grateful. A step by step instruction would be preferable but any help appreciated.
Also as a side note, changing the "call" button in the notification pull down into maybe opening them up in the contacts app would be cool.

So last night I was flashing my stock firmware so I could get my OTA to work (Which failed so if anyone can help me with that, that'd be great )
But anyway, I woke up this morning to check my email using the default email app and clicking the icon on my home screen i get the message "Application Not installed"
I figured perhaps the widget got screwed up and went to go look for the application in my app list and sure enough it isn't there, nor is it in the Settings>Applications menu
how did this get deleted?! and more importantly how do I get it back? Does anyone have the GS3 stock .apk?

Hey guys,
I'm in need of help figuring out why the colors of the text in any drop down menus when using Google Chrome are so hard to read/see. I'm a long time user of Beans' ROM's, and have tried other ROM's in the past and enjoyed them but just love the effortless dependability of Beans ROM's. Anyways, it wasn't until updating to his most recent Build #22 that I had a change in color of the drop down menu's in my Mobile Google Chrome browser and have an extremely difficult time reading the selections. I've looked in every different customization menu he included in his new rom and can't find anything on how to change the colors. I've tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling it, clearing the app data and whatnot, and can't figure out why it happened to change after flashing the newest update to his rom.
Attached is an example screenshot of what I mean. Whether it be on a mobile version of a website or the desktop version of a site, the drop down menu colors are all the same. Is there anything I'm missing or a setting I can change, or does it lie within a possible app update within chrome? Any help is appreciated!

Couple suggestions
Try reinstalling gapps something might have of not gone tru right
-if there's a newer build then try that
-download a theme for ur fone.. Example Cobalt or watever u like
-in the theme section in this thread theres a topic were someone provides themea for gmail google play and i think Google Chrome

I don't know the answer but it's in the ROM thread if you look hard enough as I do read it from time to time, I just don't use the ROM though, so I don't know right off which text color you have to change.

When I try to update a post or post something I keep getting this error that's shown below but when I close whatever browser I'm using I've tried several and they all day the same and then reopen it and go to the thread my changes were made
So what I'm wondering is it on my side or xdas for the error
Now on my computer I just get taken to the blank page

So it doesn't happen when submitting a new thread it seems to be only when I edit a post
Confirmed only when I edit the edit goes thru but I get this error page instead of being taken back to the post as normal, but like I said the edit goes thru
Also if I hit reload just a blank page with XDA on top comes up
The site was having issues, but seems ok at the moment.
Also, a member who's as experienced as yourself should know to read the stickers, like this one that explains the purpose of Assist, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2764768
