Those edges where it doesn't stick to the glass looks terrible. I wish I had more hands so I could give 4 thumbs down.

sorry you feel that way. I don't work for them. Why would I market something I paid my money for. I am only sharing it.
Would you rather me say, "This screen protector protects my screen. Its decent!"

The ultra clear is just that. It has more clarity. You loose some of that with this protector since it tries to hide finger prints.

I agree it does but it doesnt bother me because this protector feels pretty darn close to glass. I'd rather have this than something else.

Hey guys, been looking through the forum but can't seem to find a good case that just clearly shows the back of the Nexus 4.
Some TPU cases have partial clear backs but usually with an ugly S or X shape and frosting on the other parts. Also people say the clear TPU part looks bad, like its stuck to the back glass and shows random bubbles depending on pressure.
Does anyone know of a good case with a clear back?
Would tempered glass front and back plus a bumper give good protection and still show the back?
A lot of us are waiting for this one.

Any ideas if it will fit well with a screen protector?
I'm currently using this: http://www.ebay.com.sg/itm/251200525677
It fits well and I like it. The case scratches easily but it's a case so I'm not too upset about that.

We won't know for sure until we get it in our hands. What kind of SP are you planning on getting? If it's a wet applicator type, make sure you get the case fit kind.

Hard rigid plastic yes, slippery no. There is quite a lot of friction for this case.

those are cool and cheap... but still has that frosted backside AND it looks rather thick/bulky (look at the thickness of the opening of the camera/lens part)... I was going to get it, but I think I'll wait for the Ringke and see what they are going to charge. If it's in the $20 range, then yes.... but if it's in the $30... then no or at least reconsider

I have that case in white on my phone right now. It doesn't show the back clearly its closer to what the atmosphere case is as far as clarity. Nice case though and it doesn't mess with my screen protector at all.

Yeah it's like a really thin case for me since i'm really careful, i've only dropped the phone like 3~4 times in a year that i have it now and a few corners of the skin got bent so i cutted with a razor so it won't lift up the whole part getting the phone in and out the pockets and so...
And try to read the instructions really carefully before aplying.

I ended up getting this one. Stylish, protective (TPU material), and provides good grip so it doesn't feel like it's going to slide like mucus out of your hands. Great case. Love it.

Wow I've always been a fan of their screen protectors but this protector is amazing. No smudges or anything... it might even be better than the screen itself. My fingers just Swype like nothings there!

Yea the price is kind of high but honestly it feels like it'll last me the life of the phone. Worth every penny for how long it will last

the edges are not sharp at all. to be honest it is so thin that if you have a case on you will never even notice it is on there, well except for how smooth it is :good:
Yea mine isn't sharp. It seems like a normal screen protector at first but it's clearly much harder and MUCH LESS GREASY! that's my favorite part lol the clarity is just out of this world for a screen protector

During sound playback you can tell a difference from not having the case in but it's not a huge let down like it was with my iPhone 5 Life Proof. As far as voice feedback in the ear goes it does take the noise canceling a second to catch up so on the first ring or so it sounds distorted but it quickly fixes itself. It's not making calls or listening to music. No more opening the bottom hatch to make sure someone can hear me. And as far as the plastic cover goes if you're meaning a screen protector like invisible shield then it will fit. They provide you an optional screen protector to put on (I used it). I do intend on investing in a better one later, probably Ghost Armor. Lmk if you have anything else

I just purchased the version without a screen protector built in. The nuud I believe. I have a Mime glass protector (not the thinnest one, but the one with rounded edges) and it fits. Now, I havent tested it because Im not going to submerge my phone just to find out on purpose, BUT it appears to fit and seal normally. ill try to get some pics for you later when I get off work,
Short answer, yes it fits.....

The Obex is good at waterproofing. It's got some cons tho. I reckon the LifeProof will be less bulky. The Obex makes the notification bar hard to pull down cuz it covers the part above the screen. I don't really like the plastic screen protector of the Obex case also. But it's still a good case to consider!

I'm not to happy with my obex anymore. The screen protector is pretty crappy, the case scratches fairly and the colored parts get dirty. I used to be a fan of the CrashGuard bumper, but, with the phones of today becoming as large as they are,the bumper makes the grip quite a stretch for us mere mortals.
