I am asking if is probably not a very good title lol...
Yes it does have a gyroscope. I know that much... can't attest to anything else...

don't remember what its called but there is an app on the play store that lists all the sensors in your device.
Also very poor thread title, please give better titles, it makes searching easier.

Anyone heared something about getting them with the next update for the 10.1?

Take a look at this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1887594 this should answer some of your questions.
What do you mean by hovering and screen capturing? As far as I know, the Note 10.1 can already do that.
Thanks for the video! It answers nearly every question for me
i´m not allowed to post links right now, but if you search for:
Galaxy Note 2 - AirView feature (Gallery + Video playback)
on youtube, at 0:25 is what i meant!
more a nice to have feature though...

multi-window like on the Galaxy Note 2

If you guys haven't heard or seen, the latest firmware upgrade of the NOTE 2 allows for 2 applications to be on the screen at the same time which means you can interact with them. For example you can have a youtube video playing in one window and searching the web in another window.
I was just wondering, would this feature ever be cooked into a ROM?
The SkyRocket is a powerful device and should be able to handle such a thing.
Would definitely love this I am pretty sure its loaded into the os so I don't think it should be too hard to port it over. Only downpart would be the smaller screen but who cares? I would def use it in the car for my torque app and spotify or navi

+1
I would rate this as the #1 feature that I want to see in any rom. As this video shows, it's actually Really useful. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y-G-avtGf0A

Cyanogenmod was considering something like this on ICS with CM9 (see example here) . They were talking about adding a similar service called "Cornerstone" by Onskreen, but the idea was shot down by threats from Google of "consequences" if CM implemented it on any devices that Google supported (see comment to Steve Kondik from Dianne Hackborn here).
I hope this means Google(Android) realized that it was dumb to prevent this as it was an inevitability and CM will now be able to get back to work on implementing it.
I've downloaded the video player from the apps section that allows a floating video window over the top of everything else that came from the s3. Works good.

The multi-window feature on the Note 2 is more powerful, check out the youtube video (mentioned above) to see how it works. It's awesome, a killer must have feature, really.

A question about games

I have a galaxy s3 and have games I've purchased for that phone on playstore so downloaded some games to my note 10.1 and although the screen wasn't smaller they seemed to play and look fine.
What I wanted to know is will the games look any different if I download the tablet versions of these games, are they modified any differently for the note?

Yeah use the same account and if I look at all apps then the apps are there.
Just thought the tablet versions might look a bit different but remembered playing a game through my hdtv it still looked pretty sharp.
Only had my note a day it's on charge, only played nova 3 on it though and apart from jagged little lines if you looked very very close it looked okay to me

Basically Play store detects your device to download the correct apk setup file for your device ..
Same game have many different apk files ( many versions ) for each screen / resolution / processor and/or graphic processor ..
But some games and apps doesn't .. =)

[Q] Screencast Not Working on Tab 2?

Hey guys, just recieved my tablet in the mail and promptly rooted it. downloaded screencast and when trying to play back a recording its just a black screen with a green stripe. I kind of need this because I run a YouTube channel that depends on screencast so I can do gameplay. I could wait for my GS3 but thats not for another week and a half.
Any insight onto this would help. would changing the build.prop fix this?
Thanks.
I can post screenshots if I need too.
BTW I'm running CM9.
i already opened a topic about this. it's on the 2nd page.
I also need screencast for work. I tried running it on several roms, including CM10.1, sungsonic and an ics based rom. I haven't tried it on stock. I tried with Force GPU rendering ticked and HW overlays disabled and all sorts of other settings combinations but always just the sound works and screen is black. Maybe you can try on stock rom.
Sorry, Like I said I run a YouTube channel so I need to upload videos weekly to the best of my ability.
I looked on your thread and its just page 1/1?

Super slow Google Maps???

Hello, in the past, on Gingerbread for instance, when I use Google Maps on my Atrix 4G (only dual core) it was fast and fluid (e.g. street view images load fast, fast pinch and zoom). However, after I got my note 2 that runs jellybean, when running Google maps, it is very slow and don't forget the note 2 has 4 core, it should runs 2 times faster. Therefore, the crappy speed must be related to the software. Anyone experience the similar problem?
