I pressed quicksave and ended up dying later during the game. Once the menu came up though going to load game i did not see any loads. What happened here? Or is it once you die game over forever?

Yup, you lose the quicksave after dying. A way around this (at least what I did + it worked) was to force quit the app after dying, then when I reopened the game I'd have my quicksave back from a few minutes before~ There's also a save editor if you're interested in making the game easier :good:

poopers coopers ;( oh well only 15 minutes into the game.
so often do you get a 'save' as opposed to a quicksave...and does it stick? I'm surprised they don't throw in autosave points into the game. i get the feeling i should have just emulated this on the snes

Anyone had any luck getting UAE4DROID to work on the Play ?
I've tried, like, 20odd different kickstart roms but all i ever get is a blank screen.
Solved
Managed to get it working, sourced a Kickstart rom from someone in the know.
what does UAE4DROID emulate dazza
Amiga, free download from market
I got it working, but there was no fast load option, meaning games take forever to get loaded.
If this has changed, please let me know, because with no fast load option, the emulator is near useless. (unless you enjoy waiting ofc).
Didn't notice huge wait times. Maybe 20 seconds or so to boot main game then a few seconds to load each level or whatever.
Nothing like going to make a brew while waiting for old C64 tapes to load & coming back 10 minutes later to find that it's crashed!

I remember the US Gold C64 games and the multi color bar novaload and music while loading the cassettes. Classic stuff.
Well i got the C64 emulator to play Supremecy, my all time favourite strategy game, i spent hours playing it as a kid.
Then i remembered it was also released on Amiga so i put it on the Amiga Emu.
Few hours spent last night hitting it, battery didn't like it !!
I'm doing PitStop2 tonight !!
Spectrum rulez lol

Haha, yeah the old C64 vs Spectrum argument.
Now it's PS3 vs Xbox.

I neva had a c64, although my mate had a commodore amiga and i was bare jealous of the graphics lol

I found that once you load a game and save state, the next load state will naturally skip all load times.
Perfect if you save at title screen.
Now, uae on xperia play has another problem that I can't solve.
It runs too fast.
Not noticable at a glance, but when you actually play some gamez, they are just about unplayable because of their speed.
Has anyone got a fix for this?
Get it while it' free!

Have plenty of room available. It is a 73MB download. You may have to dl it more than once. I and a couple of others have gotten package errors when trying to install.
Wrong section. But it got my attention. Ty

Downloaded and installed. Runs great, not as bad on battery as I was expecting. Must have!
Dl'ed this at about 2am and i gotta say its awesome. Alot of comments said that the graphics sucked and that it lagged a little and the frame rate was choppy at times. I call BS on those comments, cuz the graphics look pretty close to the pc 's version. I had no lag or choppiness. It ran flawless for me. SO i'm pretty sure it was trolls that work for other games or something that left those comments. Also i played for about 20 or 30 mins and only saw about a 3% drain in battery so thats not to bad.
downloaded at 2am and played till 4am. great game. great way to waste time!
Got mine i love this game!!
I kept getting a popup message that said I had to setup a payment option in my 1-click settings. I went ahead and did that but it kept popping up, not letting me download the game. I tried doing it via wifi and 3g/4g. Oh well.
On CM7 n87, stock kernel.
This game just runs a loading screen and then goes back to my home screen. Darn...
I had the same problem but I fixed it.
You need at least 400mb space RAM free if you starting it.

anyone have the apk?
edit: i think its this ? http://www.4shared.com/file/6-xrzfAn/Plants_vs_Zombies_HD_v10.htm
I was able to download using my 4G and it took about ten minutes to dl and install. I had to move it to the sd card immediately and its been smooth sailing. I love this game and you cant beat a ten dollar game for free.
Good game, I'm on 2-8 now, absolutely no problems, except a seemingly laggy close-in on the "new item" at the end of a level when you click on it and it zooms in on the item against a whitescreen, it's rather laggy like.. but that's all.
http://phandroid.com/2011/12/14/sonic-cd-speeds-into-the-android-market-now-available-for-download/
According to this you can map the controls to make it work? Anyone try it yet? I think I'm gonna download the game later and give it a shot, my battery is dead right now....
UPDATE:
I bought it, and it shows up in the Game Launcher!
Trying to download the game data now but its locked up, probably because a ton of people are doing the same thing I am doing right now.
Bought it. Never thought 270mb could take so long, but once downloaded, it's one slick game. Play controls work great.
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.sega.soniccd
Only $2 US dollar.
The graphics looks like on the screenshots? They could've updated it like Dizzy which looks amazing.
graphics are pretty nice. I played this game on a gameloft tablet about two months ago and I had commented back then that I might as well be playing Sonic on an emulator. I actually take that back now.
I'm a sucker for all things Sega, so of coursd this will come to me. I like the price too...
Good deal, but it's taking longer to download the 270 MB for this than it did to download the 1.5 GB for FIFA 12! Oh well, they say good things come to those who wait... and wait... and "Download Failed, Retry"... Grrr!!! but OK... and wait... and wait... and... Dang it, another "Download Failed, Retry"... What??? starting over with File 1 of 8??? But I was on File 3!!!... and wait... and wait... and... and... FINALLY !!! YAY !!!!
WOW, it was so worth the wait !!!
After all that, just watch. Tomorrow they will have it for 10 cents!
I can't download the data. Using wifi and 50Mbit broadband. It's been on 2% for like 5 hours
Sent from my R800i using Tapatalk
Last night I had it on 50% of file 1 but it was late and I wanted to play some dungeon hunter so I canceled it figuring I'd do it this morning (and that was after like 10 tries). Before going to bed i set it and it got to 15% and I as like ok this will work. I woke this morning and its STILL at 15%!
Canceled it and tried to restart, now it won't start at all.... FML
I will wait a couple of days. The download is ridiculously slow and plagued with issues.

Yeah I figured maybe try again over the weekend. Releasing it the same time on both iOS and Android Market is great except the servers are probably flooded with everyone and their mother trying to download it.
I managed to download this in about 30 minutes over 3G.
I had no problems downloading, game runs great, and works well with Xperia play controls.

Strange, I tried over 3G also thinking maybe my WiFi was the problem but no luck. I'll have to try again tonight. Data service here at my job is horrendous.

I was thinking that at first, but then you'd have to find a sega cd emulator, the rom file, and configure it. For 2 bucks I'll bypass that, for the flawlessly smooth built for Android experience that this provides. Not to mention the graphics fill the screen without being stretched.
Damn... I just came here to post this.
...lol, I was beat to the punch AGES ago.

Has anyone been able to get past this part:
http://youtu.be/GWL0JtXLwqk?t=3m
It seriously frustrates me to the point I want to toss my phone through a wall. I move literally as fast as humanly possible and I still get crushed before I can make the final jump. But the most annoying part is I die before the wall really has even come close to crushing me. Is this a bug in the game? Has anyone gotten past this part? (the video is from an iOS Device)
I'm stuck here too. I told gameloft and they said it was a bug and there engineers know about it

I bought Eternal Legacy the day I got my Xperia PLAY... like 6-7 months ago.
...and all since then 'til today, there's been a persistent bug that results in analog use sending you flying in a diagonal direction. SEVEN MONTHS and they haven't fixed this.
So that'd be a no.

Eternal Legacy is such a buggy mess. Force closes, occasionally whacked out controls. I'm at the final boss but it just takes so long that I gave up.
SG is no better, it FC's on me all the time as well.
Anyone else notice that when you tap android version enough times you get a red\white\green ribbon twisted into the letter N? What is the purpose?
It's called an "Easter Egg". It's just there to show the logo of the version you're running. This little hidden feature has been on every phone since FroYo days (I believe). I think if you click it again, it should launch a little game you can play. I know on my last couple of phones it did.

No for this version if you hold it a icon of a cat comes up then you can play the game where you lay a snack and you can try to collect all the cats the system generated. Google it for details.

Takes 10 seconds max, in fact it took you longer to type that response.
I'm talking about the time it takes collecting a bunch of software cats.
Wow didn't know about the easter egg game xD
