Is it impossible? - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

Hi guys, I'm in Turkey and my friend went to USA 4 months ago. He promise bought me a HTC One X, when he bought my htc one x in amazon, amazon sent my friend a AT&T One X. This is not intentionally, and we sent message to amazon. And they sent me network pin to unlock my network. And I want to root, unlock bootloader, super cid . But I can't make this at the moment. I installed over and over htc drivers, and opened usb debugging mode, and opened root exploid. but this exploid says:
* daemon not running. starting it now on port 5037 *
* daemon started successfully *
DON'T TOUCH THE DEVICE OR UNPLUG WHILE ROOTING!

I think you're using the wrong exploit. You need this one:

I used x factor exploit, it says "failed" and it didn't continue

[Q] [n00b] How to Root Skyrocket Gingerbread 2.3.6 on a Mac?

I am a n00b here, to Android (defected iphone user), and a n00b at rooting so please be patient and kind...
I have an intel iMac, a Samsung Skyrocket running 2.3.6 that I just bought last week. I want to root it. I have stuck with the simplest route that my iPhone warped brain can deal with which is the Easy-Root method outlined here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1340710
I think I am missing something here (obviously, because root is unsuccessful)
This is what I end up with on terminal
Code:
Root for the Samsung Skyrocket

From what i can tell, its having issues with read-writing the superuser, busybox, and su files to the phone?

Hi Lord0KK, did that work for you? I am having the same error messages you pasted above while trying to root my Skyrocket and I couldn't find a solution.
I'm pretty sure that Heimdall doesn't work for our device. I think you need Odin to root 2.3.6 unfortunately. There's always vmware. I heard about people successfully Odining using that. Good luck.
Any luck rooting 2.3.6 yet?

[ROOT] 1.85 One Click Root! - ACT NOW, MAY NOT LAST FOREVER!

EXPLOIT NO LONGER WORKING DUE TO OTA UPDATE. BE WARNED.
Thanks to beaups for his exploit!
Download the zip file below, unzip it somewhere, run root.bat with your phone plugged in and usb debugging enabled. Currently this is for windows only.
Includes a fully working su binary and Superuser.apk, make sure to update the su binary the first time you run SuperSu!
Follow the instructions on the screen, they are very simple, only one thing to do!
Download:

HELP SECTION:
After you are rooted, I strongly suggest you unlock your bootloader immediately!!
http://briefmobile.com/how-to-unlock-att-one-x-bootloader
Make sure HTC sync is NOT RUNNING (down in system tray)
Make sure phone is set to "charge only" and usb debugging is enabled!
Make sure Wifi is enabled and connected! (seems to help, but not required)
If you are stuck at "waiting for device to reboot" for a long time or you get "/data/local.prop was not created, exit the script, try again." followed by lots of junk, reboot your phone and push your clock forward two days, reboot, and try again.
If the update fails to check for updates, reboot your phone and push your clock forward two days, reboot, and try again.

You need to figure out what hboot and firmware version you're on first. Different root methods for each.
Check your Settings>About>Software information and see what it says under Android version and Software number.
Then reboot to bootloader and see what it says next to HBOOT.
