hi everybody,
first I want to say WOW! this is the best web page about development I've ever seen!
Second, today I have installed succesfully the jellyblast v3.0.4 Rom on my samsung galaxy Y s5360, i did a security backup with CWM just in case, but the ROm is amazin and works just fine!
But I have a question, how can i change the languaje? i couldnt find that option (sorry if it's a noob question)
and the second, before I flashed it to this rom i had the stock rom, and i have several apps installed on my phone, most of them were on my sd card (with LINK2sd) the question is, where are my old apps? my sd have all the things that it had before the flash, but those apps ( the ones on the sd) were are they? becasuse they dont appear in my app box or menu... how can i make them appear?

Go to cmw recovery and go to backup and restore. Then u choose backup system or u wanna backup cache. After u install the rom, u go back to cow recovery then choose backup restore again, then u choose restore your backed up files in your sd card. That should do the trick. How did you overclock your phone to 1.2 GHz? i tried it before but it didn't work.

You could use online nanodroid backup application or Rom manager pro version...
I personally prefer titanium backup...
Easy to use and you could et procedure on play store and video on YouTube...

Plz search before asking. There are a lot instructions of how to install cwm out there.
First download the recovery you want to install then you flash it using mobileuncletool from playstore.

Chainfire has not updated his CF-Root kernel for latest JB ROM versions.
Have a look at PhilZ-kernel instead.
This is a rooted stock kernel (so quite similar to CF-Root kernel), but with a nice touch CWM recovery.
You can flash the kernel tar file in PDA section of Odin, but Phil3759 provides his kernel also as signed zip file, which can easily be flashed in stock recovery from your external sd card (without triggering the custom flash counter).
I recommend to flash the kernel zip file, as this will auto-root your phone.
Just read the kernel thread ... at least the first three posts.
If you are not sure what kernel version you have to flash, just ask in this kernel thread ... you only have to post your current ROM build version number (Settings > About phone > Build version).

(To post in dev thread, you need at least 10 posts on xda.)

Please don't flash the recovery only to the SGS2 ... it won't work.
On this device you need to flash the kernel including a recovery.
So download this kernel zip file ... if XWMS3 is your current ROM version.
Flash it from external sd card in recovery and this will auto-root your phone.
(Flashing the tar/md5 file with Odin won't automatically root your phone.)

Don't tell me it doesn't support kitkat as in it's specifications i saw.
I have rooted it and now finding a custom rom for it so that i can update it.
Is there any custom rom for spice mi 506?
Can i install google camera in it?

• Works on phones and tablets running Android 4.4+ KitKat
not sure about reasons in case it conflict with new custom roms. but mostly apk's work fine with Stable versions of custom roms.

Hello everyone, a really big apology for posting this as my first thread here, I just want help installing a custom rom on my Samsung galaxy grand 2 I already got help from a friend. I rooted my phone using Kongo root and I installed a custom recovery and now running on CWM recovery. Till then everything been working perfectly and it's all was just a piece of cake. then I downloaded gapps and lolipop, placed them in my external storage, went to recovery mode, cleared cache and clear to factory settings, cleared dalvik cache, but when I went to install them. I get the same error from both of them and it's like this "This package is for device : ms013g; this device is ms103g" I tried plenty of roms out there and gapps versions including lolipop versions and checked blisspop rom too I got the same thing. I don't know what I'm doing wrong ? Or its just my phone maybe I'm downloading roms for the wrong phone ? I would appreciate anyone's help in here. It's the only place I would come to
